I REALLY wanted to like this place but after the 3rd time going here, I will absolutely never go back. Here is the entire story... The first time I went, the gentlemen who did my nails was very kind and did a fantastic job but he also knew it was my first time. That experience led me to go back for a second trial which was absolutely AWFUL. It all started with them asking if I wanted gel on top of my acrylic and when I told them I just wanted regular polish, he literally laughed out loud at me which is terrible customer service and made me feel very uncomfortable. So after that happened, I sit down to get an acrylic set and the girl put so much acrylic gel onto my nail that it took at least 5 minutes each nail to drill it down and then she would drill too much so she would have to apply more gel and drill again... the entire process took 3 hours (which did include a short pedicure) and I was ready to never go back. A few weeks later I decided I would give them a third chance so I went back today and although it didn't take 3 hours this time, they laughed at me again for not wanting gel on top of my acrylic, the woman cut my finger twice, and my nails don't even look that good. I went to pay after the service is complete and am told that there is an extra $3 charge because they trimmed my nails... yes, I said TRIMMED my nails (they were already cut to where I wanted them, I just wanted her to trim them down a little). I have never had to pay an extra charge for someone to trim my nails at a nail salon and I would have liked to know that before the service instead of being told after the service. Went here for a pedicure with my mom who was visiting from out of state. Took ~20 to get in a chair. The water was cold and the bubbles didnt work. We asked them to fix it and no one did. 15 minutes of soaking in cold water before they started on my toes. Another 20 minutes before they started on my mom's toes. I asked for a spa pedicure (hot towels included) and they only wrapped one leg for some reason. I saw the tech squeeze too much goop onto the pumice and scrape it back into the bottle. Very unclean. I got my eyebrows waxed and the tech waxed McDonald's arches on my face after I asked for a "natural look, nothing off the top." They put little slices of watermelon in the water they offer which was very cute. Read Less

This is the ONLY nail spa I trust in the DC area. Their prices are great, the service is incredible, and in the five years I've been going there I've never had a problem with nail fungus or anything gross like that. They're very clean, friendly, and professional and they'll go the extra mile to make sure you're satisfied when you leave. My favorite person there is Evan, who always gives me the best pedicure. Everyone there is so sweet, they're like family. They offer so many more services there besides manis and pedis, such as waxing and facials. A week later literally a week and two nails just popped off doing nothing on vacation im.not at work . Ive been here three times n i tryed to give these techs the benifit of the doubt because i thought it was me but no the quality sucks .. and its not cheap ive been getting my nails done over a decade ive never had my nails pop off in a week and it hurts because its only b3en one week .. gel nails at that ! This shop is great. Linda is awesome!! The service she provides is always top quality. She takes her time, listens to what you want and makes helpful recommendations. New to the area and have been searching for a nail home, I believe I found that with Revive! I walked in with no appointment on a busy Saturday afternoon and was greeted promptly by Linda.  I came in wanting a overlay fill but after taking a look at my natural nail length, Linda suggested I try the new dip powder technique.  I've never heard of it before so I took a risk and I'm glad I did because they came out bomb!  Linda answered all my questions and shaped my natural nails to perfection!  Ethan has a lot of reviews on Yelp and I witnessed why!  Ethan was sitting right next to Linda and he did a amazing job on a young lady's coffin nails. I came here for my first time to get my nails done today & my nail tech Ethan was AMAZING! Customer service is beyond phenomenal, I am more than pleased & satisfied. I absolutely love Revive! The staff here are all amazing, everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. They’ve helped me get my nails in so much better health - the dip powder is amazing. Helen is an artist! She always does such an incredible job with my manicure. I love their spa pedicures too, so relaxing and my feet are never softer! I love this place. It's clean and very professional. I'm extremely picky when it comes to my nails and feet. I like to get liquid gel using pink builder gel.  I like them shaped and filed down to look natural. I only let Ethan do my nails. I'm picky with my pedicures also, I like to go to Mimi. Not that Ethan doesn't do a good pedicure, I'm just funny about men touching my feet that aren't my husband. I'm a bit on the modest side.Any hoo, Ethan is the owner and he has so much respect for his employees, that I've observed. I've been several times in the last 6+ months. He treats everyone with so much respect and remembers details about his clients. I'm not really a talker, but he always ask about my daughter and family. I was in a car accident and couldn't get my nails done for over 6 weeks. When i came back, he remembered me like I wasn't MIA for weeks. This is a newly renovated nail salon. It is very lovely and clean. They feature plastic liners in their pedicure tubs that are new for each client. The staff is friendly and they take time to ask you how you would like your services. The owner is very conscientious and is concerned about his customers . He goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. I would highly recommend that you give them a try . I have now been there on four occasions and always been satisfied with their service. The entire point of me getting pedicures on a regular basis is simply for the pampering. I don't have horrid feet, I just like the upkeep. With that being said, I should have not been lazy and just gone to my regular salon, but I didn't feel like driving past my house. I got my hair done at statements and decided to walk over. My pedicure is in the painting stage now, and I am very disappointed. It started off nice, but once I asked the technician to take off the foil they had on my fingers [because my fingers were burning], the mood changed. She rushed through the rest of the process, skipping steps. She dang near scrubbed my legs raw with sea salt, but only touched my feet to smooth some of the solution over them. When it was time to use the pedi bar that makes everyone squirm, I didn't have any reaction. Why? Because she literally used it for 3 seconds per foot. I told her earlier on the my big toe nail was crooked and she said she would come back to it. So when she was attempting to put on the base coat I asked for the file and fixed it myself.If my nails didn't look do bad from taking the gel off, I would simply pay for the pedicure and leave. I was a client of Joys nail spa for many many years but one of my friends recommended NT salon since my nail girl at joys is no longer working there . I must say as soon as I stepped into this salon I felt the great atmosphere and great customer service right away . I was offered coffee or water to drink and was asked to choose a color for my gel manicure . A nail tech named Linda took care of my gel. This has been the longest that my gel has lasted me . It has been almost 3 weeks now and no nail has chipped . The only thing that I see is that my nails are growing away from the cuticles of course . I would love to give this place an actual review of their services; unfortunately I haven't ever been able to get an appointment with them.  They're always unavailable in the evening.  ALSO, this evening I call back for like the 6th time to attempt to schedule something.  I mentioned my Yelp discount, which says $10 off services over $40 or more. The lady puts me on hold and then another comes on line and tells me the offer is invalid, then another lady puts me on hold to look on Yep and attempt to verify.  It's just always been the run around.  After being on the phone with them for about 10 minutes, I just got disgusted and figured if they don't want my business - why should I spend time trying to go to them? I really, really wanted to enjoy my mani/pedi, especially since I paid $90 including tip for it. I used to come here as a teenager, and I was happy to visit. I did not see my usual, she was gone for the day. My gel manicure did not last more than 2 days, and my pedicure was horrible. The girl insisted on not giving me a top coat on my pedicure?!?!?! I went here on a random saturday, after going into a salon up the street and being completely disgusted. Right away I noticed how clean this place is, which is definitely a plus. I also liked the fact that it wasn't super loud and packed. There also weren't a million children running over the place. I got the deluxe pedicure, which was really nice, but I also noticed that it wasn't much different than the regular pedicure besides this extra lotion they use (not exactly worth it, but hey, you live and you learn). By far the best nail salon I've been to in the Woodbridge Area. I ended up going to this location on accident thinking I was headed to a more spa like place. No biggie since I had a good experience. They weren't pushy with products or up selling me on services. Amber did an excellent job on my mani & pedi making sure I was happy with both. This year has been extremely busy... going here, there, and everywhere... doing this, that, and that other thing.. from births to weddings to funerals...)In any case, we went to NT Salon to get some relaxing prettification before my sister's wedding in Woodbridge. None of us had ever been there before, but one of the bridesmaids had noted that there were glowing reviews on yelp (which I actually have not read yet, even as I type this review.)We were greeted by very friendly people who hied us on to get our spa pedis (of which they have about 6 stations) and manicures (also about 6 stations... I think 6 is a common number). Very friendly and very much hard at work on my embarrassingly rough feet.... which she transformed to a softness I haven't had in forever! (She also recommended that I try to get a pedicure every 2-3 weeks to make it better... I never knew that before, and I'll definitely have to try because I love how it feels!) In any case, I would definitely be up for returning whenever I'm in Woodbridge and do recommend them!By the way, if you are going with quite a few friends... you might want to combine your bill to one payment as they do offer a 20% discount after reaching a certain amount.
