Worst place I have ever been to. Never will I go again!!! I went only because my normal place was busy, biggest mistake! I went in for a mani and pedi. The pedi was alright. Not the best I've had but alright. Once that was done she took me to do my nails. I had wanted gel/shellac over my natural nails...which were pretty long. I've been growing them out and was extremely happy on how long and strong they had gotten up until this point. First mistake. She used her filing drill on my real nails to take off the previous gel color. This completely thinned down my real nails!!! She then did the color and again...it was just okay. Well 3 days later one of my nails broke. Of course right? They were so thin even with the gel!! I go back and she put a fake nail on me. She used a tip that was way wider than my real nail! Then she over did it on the glue and powder. So now my one nail looks not only wider than the rest, but way thicker! This caused my nail to break literally halfway down when it came to take the nail off! The fake tip was glued on and had too much powder that it would not come off and when it finally did it took half my nail with it!!!!!!!! Never going there again!! No one has used a drill on my real nails before to take off a gel color. I understand using it acrylics, but not my natural strong nails! Do not go! Read Less

Horrible... Not only did they tell me that it would be a 10 min wait and it was actually 40, but they didn't use a top coat, didn't wash off the junk on my legs, cut me three times, and left my ingrowns worse than they were to begin with. I was supposed to get a pedi and gel mani but ran away as fast as I could after the horrible pedi that had to be re-done (at another salon) less than three days later. Oh, and the place really needs some ventilation, because it smelled so bad that I had a raging migraine halfway through. I will never go back and tell everyone how bad they were. Read Less

If you go here, ask for Terri, she's the only one who knows wtf she's doing. everyone else doesn't even know how to paint nails correctly. i'm sure when people pay to get their nails done, they want the sides of the nails painted as well. I'm new in town, had the best nail salon anywhere then my job moved me. I needed a pedicure badly.  I saw reviews for this place so I thought I'd try it, it was close. One thing I can't stand is when I tell them to cut my toenails short and they don't. The longer they leave them the sooner you'll have to come back. If mine are too long they chip and break. Of course she left them long! Several hours later I put shoes on and the polish was ruined. Also I tend to get ingrown toenails and I need them to be trimmed on the sides. Usually they do that, she didn't. All that and I paid $15 more than I'm used to. The shop was clean but she kept trying to sell me on more services. Oh, my daughter got a fill with 2 nails replaced, an older woman worked on her. She nicked her fingers a few times and my daughter wondered if she could see very well. All in all not great! Perhaps we're spoiled! The search for a new salon goes on, we won't be coming here again. Read Less

After bouncing from nail salon to nail salon I have FINALLY found my place. I got a pedicure, and honestly felt bad because the woman (I think her name was Vicki)  put in some work. She made my feet feel like a newborns. She also did my nails and did them how I wanted them the first time. I didn't have to keep telling her! Best nail salon in Woodbridge but only if you see Terri. She is outstanding and so personable. She makes you feel welcome. She doesn't sit there an speak another language to the other workers while she's with you. That's kind of rude. Terri knows the newest and latest fashion when it comes to nails and designs. As with most other people, I just moved to the area and have been to quite a few salons before coming to Long Nails.  I am very picky, detail oriented and expect the nail techinicians to be as well.  I stumbled onto Long Nails as a result of a local search and I'm so glad I did.  I went in for a mani/pedi and Michelle did such a great job that I am definitely going back.  Michelle was not only detail oriented but took her time and didn't rush to get the next person. I made sure I told her how pleased I was with her level of detail so she knew it was appreciated.  And by level of detail I mean, no rough edges, polish covering the WHOLE nail, didn't cut cuticles too much or make them bleed,and ensured that each coat was even. I was looking for a place to get a walk in mani/pedi and eyebrow wax. It's not the prettiest store in the world, but Helen was wonderful! She did a great job on my eyebrows and was a pleasure to talk to. She noticed a small ingrown toenail and expertly helped remedy it with some pain free clips of her tools. I just had the worst pedicure I've ever endured at Long Nails. The girl was extremely rough, not paying attention. Kept cutting me with the tools. Sprayed alcohol over nails with cut cuticles, which really stung. Got nail polish remover in the cut cuticles, which really stung. I kept telling her she was hurting me. You would think after a few times she would try to be more gentle, but no. Did not provide all the services that are supposed to come with a spa pedicure but I was so anxious to get away from her that I did not point that out. I did not get a calf massage, there was no top coat put on top of the nail polish, and the spa mask was simply wiped off with the back side of the towels that they'd wrapped my legs with, rather than with a clean warm towel. I still have residue on my legs. She got the salt scrub on my clothes....this experience was just AWFUL. I told the manager that I would not come back and that a pedicure is supposed to be an ENJOYABLE experience. They charged me full price and told me to ask for next time. Unfortunately I am unable to dispute the charge to my debit card. I probably should have made a bigger scene and refused to pay but I was about in tears and just wanted to leave. They haven't always been like this, but bad service and bad management of the complaint is enough to have me write this review to warn others. Read Less

Well, I guess I will try writing my first review.  I just moved to Woodbrige, VA. and I don't know anyone so I signed up on Yelp to get some recommendations.  Even though there are no reviews nor was I refered to this place, I decided to go to Long Nails simply on it's outward apperance, plus I was impatient.  First David did my pedicure.  Overall he was pretty good.  I enjoyed it all except he did nip my cuticle to close and cause me some pain and bleeding. I say it was over all pretty good b/c he exfoliated well, massage was nice and the polish is perfect. I'm willing to forgive once.KIM! did my nails. I got a full set of pink and white gels. Now i've had pink/white before, but not the gel overlay.  I really love it. they are some of the best most perfect nails I have ever recieved. I will def be back to Kim 100%. Plus, after they set, she puts lotion on your hands and does a little massage, which I'm not used to getting at the salons in TX or Va beach when your getting a "set"  or "fill".  Go see Kim!
