The one star reviews on here do not accurately represent the fabulous technicians at beauty rush. I found these ladies on Google back in September and have gone back ever since. I don't even live in Williamsburg and I make the 30 minute drive to come see these wonderful people. They are a family. I've laughed with them, cried, shared stories, and truly felt at home. Terrible experience. Not one word from our nail technician the entire time. My fiancé was not greeted when he walked into the door, in fact was grilled about why he walked in at all, even though we had an appointment and arrived on time. I visited this spa for a waxing treatment. The young lady who greeted me and worked on me was friendly, polite and attentive however, I didn't find her to be too experienced. It took her quite a few tries to remove the hair and after having several unsuccessful attempts, she used tweezers to pull out the remaining hair. Never at a waxing place I've had anyone use tweezers on me. Nonetheless, I tipped her for trying and her positive attitude. Read Less

I just recently moved to Williamsburg and I needed to find a new nail salon. I decided to try Beauty Rush Spa first. It was so easy to make the appointment online. I am thrilled to say that Rachael did a wonderful job and I don't need to look any further. The spa was clean and comfortable, the massage chair felt wonderful, there were a lot of polish choices and my nails look great. I'm really thankful to have found Rachael at Beauty Rush! Read Less

service was great the minute i walked in.massage was amazing.mani and pedi could've been a little better.the gel polish was almost perfect. i had bubbles on both thumbs.i walked out tipping mainly for the 90 min massage.the ladies that worked on me were friendly, but a tad unprofessional using inappropriate languages, also the fact that i was at home and my husband shows me that the owner had texted him at 9pm from her personal number, regarding the amount that was charged and what was tipped (which i had personally told my husband earlier that day) and that just so happens to be from my debit card, my bank account. i didn't think that what she did, was even appropriate, especially the fact that she had contacted my husband at 9pm via her personal number. am i wrong? so i thought that was it and i had decided that Beauty Rush Spa almost had a regular customer. So, after canceling my appointment somewhere else and booking with them for manicure yesterday, I called on Thursday to add leg wax and the lady (so seemed not so fluent in English and not understanding exactly what I was saying) told me she couldn't do both, unless the appmt was transferred for today, which was perfectly fine for me. She told me she had availability at 14:00. Perfect! Same day I got TWO text messages confirming my appointment. It said for 14:30, which was fi...ne. Drive up there to find closed doors. Last time I checked your front door sign as well as the website say open until 18:00... After calling, I was told the lady "waited" for me, but since I didn't show up, she left and closed doors. Huh?? And was told the system had me for 14:00 not 14:30. Took a screenshot of the appmt confirmations I got and the lady call back saying I had TWO SEPARATE appointments. Really?!!! Best manicure ive gotten in Williamsburg! Amy did a fantastic job on both helping me to choose the color as well as recommending enhancements to my manicure. I moved to Williamsburg in May. After three months of trying out different places I have finally found my new nail salon. I went in yesterday and they were able to fit me in this morning. It was the best experience I've had so far. The salon is clean, the staff is wonderful, and my nails are perfect. It is reasonably priced and I wouldn't recommend anywhere else. Read Less

I went in at 5:20 today to see if they would be able to do a manicure, told me "they were about to close" when they close at 6:00. Wasn't asked if I wanted to make a future appointment or anything, felt very uncomfortable and unfortunately now I won't be back! Read Less

I go see Kelly, their Aesthetician every 4-6 weeks for my legs, and Brazilian wax. She always makes me feel comfortable, and relaxed. I never have a problem getting an appointment, and she's always on time. The spa is very clean and relaxing. I'd recommend Kelly to all my friends. Read Less

This is by far the best nail salon in the area. Regardless of who does my nails there -- June, Amy, Ling, Rachel -- the result is always top-notch. The salon atmosphere is peaceful and it is apparent that everyone who works there enjoys each other and their clients. My husband raved about a deep tissue massage he had there recently. Next on the list to try is a facial by Amy. There are many nail salons in Williamsburg, so if you are on the search for the best, go no further than this little oasis in New Town. Read Less
