This place has been steadily declining over the past year. I used to enjoy going in here but something has changed and after what happened to me today, I will never go back nor will I ever recommend them to anyone again. I had made an appointment a few weeks ago specifically requesting a certain technician for a pedicure for this afternoon. When I arrived, the owner Kim approached me- with a mouth full of food- letting me know that my tech had "double booked herself" and that someone else would have to do my pedicure. When I stated that I only wanted to see her and that's why I made an appointment, Kim shrugged her shoulders and giggled, telling me "well she's right over there so you can talk to her about it" and then walked away from me. This was one of the most unprofessional situations I have ever been in and the fact that the OWNER laughed it off was pretty heinous. Over the past few months I've also witnessed the girls eating full meals at their nail stations- some while working on clients, being on their phones while working on clients, the owner gossipping to her clients about her employees, and staff making you feel rushed at the end of the night before closing (one girl asked me to pick my feet up so she could sweep under the desk one evening while my tech was painting my nails). If you are looking for a quality spa with a professional, comfortable, and clean atmosphere this is not the place for you. Read Less

We specifically searched for places open until 8pm. When we walked in at 6:55, everyone in the place just stared at us. When asking about a certain nail design, I got a flat out "no" as an answer and generally felt like I was a huge inconvenience to them. Someone finally told us they close at 7pm - but only after starting our pedicures - so it was too late for us to say, "oh, nevermind then." When I said their hours online say 8pm, she said "Yeah, we haven't updated that." The only thing listed on their door was their opening time, so I'm not sure how we were expected to know that they weren't honoring the hours advertised. On the plus side, they did take us. The ladies who stayed after closing to do our pedicures warmed up and ended up being very sweet. I would just rather not have created a hassle for them to begin with. I felt awful. I walked in to get a full set. When I sat down with my nail artist I requested to have coffin shaped nails. She went on to say that I needed almond shape nails. We went back-and-forth about three times until she understood that I did not want almond and I only wanted coffin shaped nails. Throughout the process I had to correct her twice because what I was being given looks nothing like what I requested. I even asked if there's anyone else that could do a better job. Haven't had a pedicure in a long while and it's been way over due. I just moved here to Virginia and this is the first one I have been to here. Place was awesome. Location awesome and on point. I walked in with no appointment and they got to me and my friend right way . We got to sit right next to each other and talk small. The ladies here KNOW what there doing. My friends and I came here to get our manicure and pedicures done. We called ahead to schedule appointments, which seemed ideal since it was mother's day weekend.When we got there we had to wait a bit, but not terribly long. Service was great, and we had several good laughs with the ladies there. I was even able to get a last minute waxing in which was Great! Would definitely recommend coming Here! I got lucky and was able to walk-in and be seen without an appointment. I only had to wait 10 minutes and then Zara helped me pick out the perfect color for my pedicure and gel manicure. Don't sanitize their brushes in between client use, I was disgusted to be handed a brush, and then see only after using it that they weren't even placed in a fungicide. Booked an appointment, and while I was there the Tech took a phone call for a nail repair, the person showed up, and she took her before me, (my appointment time was already 15 min passed and I had been waiting for 20) people are rude. Got charged $12 more than quotes over the phone, and nothing extra was added. The only good thing is I was able to get an appointment same day I called. Read Less

As a guy I feel comfortable when coming in for the rare pedicure when toenails get a bit too gnarly for me to do myself. This was my 4th visit. I love the friendly staff. Have been fortunate to get Victoria. She pays attention to any special issues and when l walk out my feet feel great and i feel like im walking on clouds. A friend of mine suggested I come with her here to get my pedicure. It was the best yes I made! Victoria did my pedi and she was and is awesome!! She took her time and made sure I was comfortable and my water was a good temp, which is important to me. The massage she gave me on my feet/legs was everything and it felt like I had 2 new feet lol. When she was finished polishing my toes they looked great and she gained a new client. All of the staff in the nail spa makes you feel welcome and gives great customer service. Kim is an eyebrow genius! I went from having sparse hair and no arch to full, luscious looking eyebrows with her microblading services. The consultation gives you an idea of what to expect and answers any questions you have. She will draw the eyebrow shape to your liking and explain the procedure in depth. She leans toward the natural brow side and then if you want to go fuller or more dramatic next time she will do that. From first look, you would assume that this salon is great. It looks clean and open. Unfortunately, I was extremely unhappy with their service. I made an appointment specifically requested an ombre nail design. I understand not everyone knows how to do this but I was told when i made the appointment that they would have no problem doing it, to just bring in a picture of what kind of colors I'd like. At my appt, I was told that they couldn't do it. I gave them the benefit of the doubt by just letting them do a simple blue instead. A different employee with a horrible nose ring chimed in with an attitude stating that they never told me that they could do it. And even rolled her eyes. When the woman did the acrylic nails, she didn't push back my cuticles, she hurried putting on the nails and even the gel paint! They weren't even and when I tried to tell her this, she told me it wasn't the nails just my fingers that made it look that way. She fixed up and pushed my cuticles back after she was done. They didn't look horrible but definitely didn't look nice enough to be charged $45 for them! And on top of all that, they only last 2 weeks! I thought gel nails were suppose to last longer!! Me and my friend came here for mani pedis. I had Sean who was fantastic. Very friendly and personable and gave a killer massage. He was on time and started my pedicure almost right away. My friend on the other hand had Nancy and her experience was awful. She was waited for so long that my pedicure was almost over by the time she got started. My friend skipped the pedi because she didn't want me to wait which was really upsetting. Nancy started her nails and then kept pushing for my friend to do gel which she didn't want and had already stated that. She was not friendly and also cut her twice while trimming nails and also didn't soak the nails at all. This place seems hit or miss depending on who you get. My mom and I had our nails done here twice in the past year. Knowing its popularity, I called to make an appointment for both visits. Walk-in customers would be asked to come back one to two hours later. Basic pedicures were more than what I expected; I did not need to upgrade as the nail technician gave an incredibly relaxing leg massage. The massage chairs were unique in which the remote control was already embedded in the arm rest, and prevented accidentally dropping them in the water. The arm rests even had enough space to rest any drinks, cell phones or purses. Manicures were done at the high-top nail bar. My gel French manicure turned out beautifully as the nail tech ensured I was pleased with the shape of the nail and length of the French white tips. The nail salon's decor was simple, modern and neutral with pleasing gray colors. The restroom was clean, and there were extra chairs available while waiting for my mom's nails to be finished. More important, it was obvious that this salon took great care in ensuring that the tools and equipment were clean. My two minor complaints were that tips were cash only, and the nail polish selections should be organized according to brand then color. The prices were reasonable and it was always worth the drive. Came in for a gel mani and spa pedicure. Did not make an appointment. When I walked in, I was told that I would have a 30 minute wait- But I started my service in about 15 minutes. Besides from the very noisy toddler, my experience was perfect. The hot stone massage and hot towels felt so good on my feet after a long week at work, and I feel like this is the most flawless gel mani I've ever had. The pedicures here are by far the best I've ever had the pleasure to have & for the same price! They take their time massaging & probably do so for twice as long as any other place I've been to anywhere in the states! The techs are all very friendly, professional & always smiling. I love the diversity of the crew too. The pedi chairs are less then a year old & are fabulous & comfortable. The shop is always very clean. I've gotten gel nail color here & brow waxes too which they always do a great job on. The only thing I don't go there for anymore (which i did for awhile) is for my acrylics & that's only because I'm super picky about them & found someone closer to home for fills that I prefer more so. This is the neighborhood go-to favorite nail salon.  I love coming here & seeing people I haven't seen in a decade.  There is a reason they are so popular.  The owner Kim is extremely friendly, humorous & remembers everyone.  She has expanded, doubling the size & capacity of the salon.Today I had to wait for a pedicure.  But it's the weekend during tourist season & I had no appointment.  The wait was well worth it.  The massage made my arthritic feet & ankles feel absolutely wonderful.  It was a long pleasurable experience that wasn't rushed, even with other walk-ins waiting.  I chose a new interesting polish color.  My feet are looking & feeling good.  I'll be back soon. This place is great! I'm so happy to have found this little spa. I don't really understand the "wine" part of the name as I never saw anyone sipping the good stuff, but I still enjoyed myself!I had been long overdue for a pedicure and I've finally grown my nails out enough for them to deserve a manicure. With engagement photos scheduled this week, I made an appointment this past Saturday to help me look my best. I had read from other reviews to make an appt to avoid long waits. While I was there it did seem that many were coming in with appointments, but walk-ins had no trouble waiting 5-10 minutes. You can tell they have a lot of regulars who even gave hugs when they left. I can see why because I'll definitely be back!I had also read that this place does the best foot/leg massages and OMG were they correct. I received the BEST spa pedicure in my life. All for $35 too! Every time I thought the massage was coming to an end she would break out a different type of lotion or mask & hot stones?! I was in pedicure Heaven. My toes are ready for their close up, summer!I decided on a French manicure for nails & they look great! While she was working on my fingers, I realized that I forgot to schedule a brow wax too. My nail tech said no problem & had the women who does the waxing come get me when she was done. They turned out great too! It's amazing how a few little things can help you feel like a million bucks. Its important to note that this place does not exist anymore. They are now located across the street from the Krogers Plaza and go by the name Unwine Nail Salon now. I was driving around looking for this place only to find out they changed locations and name.Moving on, I'm from CA where it is nail salons galore on every street and most are Vietnamese owned and do a fabulous job for a cheaper price than anywhere you can find in VA. So I've been spoiled.I knew finding a decent nail salon would be tough but every salon is what it is out here. What I will say about this place, the salon is actually pretty cute and the concept they have with their shop is pretty interesting. The space is kinda tight right now but they are currently expanding their space. The manicure I got done was very basic and nothing special but I'm taking it with a grain of salt because I'm not in LA. Overall, not bad or great. Will consider coming back. Read Less

I have been going to this one nail salon for five years and all of the sudden they changed owners. I stayed for about two months but was never happy, so I've decided to try Unwine Nail Spa because my friends all go there. Their staff made me feel like family and I just love my pink n white! I am definitely not a tanning and nails kind of girl. I'm pretty low maintenance. I can appreciate a simple pedicure every once in a while. When I lived nearby, this was where I would go when I got the urge to be a little sassy. It's a little asian nail salon in the Kroger shopping center (lots of a foreign language being spoken). It doesn't stand out from many other places in town. It's very clean and they have the nice vibrating chairs. I think a pedicure is about $20, I usually do a french pedicure, which is $5 more. They are really thorough, and do great quality work for the price. They are definitely better than other walk-in places I've been to. Read Less
