My boyfriend recently told me (and paid for me) to come here as a Valentines Day gift. I got the Deluxe pedicure done by Minako & a full set by Mary. Minako was amazing! She took her time, she was gentle, & very caring. I've never had a pedicure done so well! I felt totally relaxed. However it was kind of ruined because Mary insisted on doing my nails at the same time. While I was trying to relax and talk with Minako, she started putting on my nails and filing them not caring that she was messing up my pants and having me sit twisted in the process. Maybe she was just trying to cut down time? However it would've been nice to be relaxed and enjoy my pedicure first. When I sat in the chair for Mary to finish I thought she did a good job however when I got home & looked at them I could see all the imperfections underneath the polish. $40 definitely wasn't worth her service at all. The only reason I'm rating my experience a 3 is because Minako was so great. I will definitely come here for my pedicures because there's no one like her, but I definitely won't be seeing Mary again for my nails. Read Less

I had a 4:30 appointment for two pedicures. We had our feet soaking in lukewarm water which eventually turned cold for 30 minutes. There was no acknowledgement, no explanation, no apology... nothing. Just completely ignored for 30 minutes until we walked out because of the horrible, absolutely repulsive customer service. We got a meh, half hearted 'sorry'. I will never go there again let alone recommend this place to anybody. I wish there was an option to leave 0 stars because they don't even deserve one. We made an appointment the day before and when we arrived, we were seen immediately. Its not a glamorous upscale nail salon, but the staff was welcoming and friendly. We were in and out in an hour. Swung in on a whim while waiting for my son to finish practice. I really enjoyed myself! Mina did my pedicure and was fantastic! Their customer service is great too! I think I finally found a nail salon that I like and can trust! My mom and I came in on Sunday for me to get a fill in and for her to get a full set. They opened at 12 and we went in at 12:07 and they were packed! They still worked us in and were very nice. There was a little wait but thats no problem. The lady who did my nails was late I guess and as soon as she walked through the door she got a cup of water and sat down and immediately started doing my nails. She was very nice and listened to everything I wanted. The only mishap I had was in the beginning I told her I wanted matte over my nails and she forgot and did a clear coat over 2 of my nails then remembered and I told her it was fine to keep going as I think it was too late at that point. I didn't see a spot to sit down and put your nails under a dryer thing, I had to put my nails up to a little fan to dry. Other than those 2 things, I will be back! (Also they have wine and Mimosas!) I cannot recommend this place enough! Not only is the staff insanely pleasant to be around, but I've never felt rushed!! I have gotten pedicures many times, my nails done a few times, I had a prenatal massage a while ago, and I took my daughter here for her 5th birthday. They gave her the royal treatment and she had a blast as well. My husband and I have come together also, and with complimentary mimosas, beer, coffee or water, it quickly became one of our favorite date choices! All of that aside, the work is QUALITY. Top notch. What better way to spend an afternoon kid free than getting a pedicure with my spouse. The staff are so warm and welcoming. We walked in and immediately were greeted with welcoming faces. My husband hasn't had a pedicure in years and I'm so glad I reintroduced the pedicure to him at this place. The mimosa was superb and the coffee was also very good. I'm utterly impressed and in love with my place. I went earlier today with my mother and daughter (3). We called ahead of time and they were able to fit us in even though there wasn't a ton of time left. My daughter got a manicure, pedicure, hair style and makeup. Her beautician was wonderful with her, gently reminded her to be still when needed, carried her when her toes were drying, etc. After she finished, there were plenty of toys to play with and Daniel Tiger on the television. My mother got a manicure and pedicure. She really enjoyed the massage that goes along with the pedicure. I got a manicure and a full body massage. This massage was the best I could have ever imagined. Without even telling her, the masseuse could tell that my shoulders were sore and she really concentrated on them. The room was very dark, the music was nice, it was so peaceful and wonderful. They also have wine. My personal experience was horrible.  First off I want to say that my experience was bad with a specific tech.  The overall service that my group received was great.  I just did not have a good tech.  I will admit I was a little late for my appt. but I was there for the works for my sister's birthday coming from Hampton when my sister got sick and I had to pull over.  First was the massage. The person I had could barely speak English and we did not communicate well.  She had me sit up as she massaged my shoulders, me having to cover my breast awkwardly after I had been laying down the whole time covered up.  It was very uncomfortable and weird.  I have never had a massage like this ever.  I asked my sister about her experience and she was never asked to do such a thing. Next I wanted my face waxed.  When it was over I looked the same way I did as when I had walked in.  Next my feet.  When I was telling the tech, the one I have had all day, what color I wanted she could not understand and it took 10 minutes for us to get on the same page.  Next I wanted a manicure, still confusion with the nail color we had discussed just 30 minutes before.  She also applied so much polish that after sitting for almost 20-30 minutes my nails were still not dry. Almost every nail was needing a touch up. I treated my sister and niece spending over $200 and I received the worst, most uncomfortable experience I've ever had at a salon. The ladies that my niece and sister had were wonderful and they truly enjoyed themselves, but I did not.  I hope others receive better service than myself.  In no way do I want to bash this establishment as everyone around me received great service but I am entitled to my opinion and figured I would share.  I give the place 3 stars for the service others received. I came to TH for a gel mani this afternoon and thought the service and work was good. They are very professional and coordinated here. All the techs wear uniforms. I had a jacked up pedi earlier at another location so I had to peak over and watch the girls at TH. They use the bowl covers here which are extra sanitizing. The girls were smiling, working and scrubbing and hard. I was jealous that I wasted my money earlier at Aloha. If you're new to the area, like me, and need to choose between the 2 top-ranked nail salons that come up on Yelp. I just visited both in the same day and TH is the better place! I am based down here for the military and recently finished boot camp. Of course the first thing I wanted to do was get my nails done since they were neglected for 2 months. I came on Yelp and found TH as one of the first businesses that popped up. I mentioned their name to a lady that works in the fitness center and to my excitement she told me that's where she gets her nails done. She called her lady and made us all appointments. TH was able to accommodate about 6 of us on short notice which was awesome because we don't have a lot of time to get around before we need to be back. I'm always wary of new nail salons because I never know how clean they are going to be or how they treat new customers. I didn't have to worry about that here. We were treated as if we had been going there for years. I received a spa pedicure that was awesome and so relaxing. Cheaper than back home in CT as well! I had Anime do my nails and let me tell you, girl does WORK. She only used a drill one time on my actual nails and that was it. Everything else was done by hand and my nails came out amazing. They are the best they have been and I'm so thankful I chose this business to do my nails. I will be living here for about 5 months so I will definitely be returning and using their services until I go home. They have adopted me as their new customer for life so I hope they are ready! I'm so confused by the rave reviews. I sadly am a creature of habit and went here faithfully for a little over a year   The first pedicure in August of 2015 I was happy I remember being impressed also with my eyebrow waxing. It wasn't until 2016 that things started to go down hill. To begin I went monthly for a pedicure and eyebrow wax. YET they NEVER EVER remembered me. EVER. I consistently would have the same three women, the same conversation for almost a year and a half. Over the course of that duration unnoticed the salon get dirtier and dirtier. Time being a factor kept me coming month after month until I noticed yellowing of my toe nail. Horrified I went to the doctor and I now have a fungal infection of the nail bed due to my poor judgement in coming to this nasty salon. They absolutely do not clean their equipment or sanitize. I always wondered but now clearly it's bit me in the arse. Also I went their every time and purchased the same pedicure $45 but every single time it was different. Sometimes they would use hot stones, sometimes they wouldn't. Sometimes they would use the peppermint scrub other times they wouldn't. It's actually hysterical because one time I brought it up in question and they asked if a certain lady did my nails. Then passed it off as she  as new.  I also stopped getting my eyebrows done here because the salon chair was cut exposing the foam. To remedy this they put down old towels and sheets that are not changed with each different client. Writing this review has me more horrified I went here for so long. Try for yourself. Upon entering you will understand what I'm saying. The nail polish itself is a hodge podge and also most of it is empty or close to empty. The 'luxury' lotion they use is just cheap bath and body works. Salon is a hard stretch of the imagination. Couple days ago, I was looking for a good nail shop that would do a great job. I was VERY picky and I wanted to make sure I went to a shop that new what they were doing and that they wouldn't rush. I came across TH Nails & Day Spa USA and I was very impressed with the reviews! What really caught my eye was the complimentary drinks that they serve for customers (; Fast forward to today, I came in with my friend and they seated us right next too each other right away as they weren't busy. As we were picking our color, they asked us what kind of drinking we wanted (which I was looking forward too haha) and my friend and I both got mimosas! Micah did my nails and she was super friendly! She paid attention to every detail and made sure she cleaned my nails perfectly. She also made sure to apply the nail polish perfectly too! My friend had Ping, and she also was very friendly and did a great job with my friend's nails! I paid $25 which is a reasonable price for shellac nails. 5 stars!! This is the only nail salon I go to now and I drive almost 30 min to get here. They serve you free drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic), they have a huge kids area which is quite impressive, their prices are great, the people who work their are wonderful and they take their time. The mani-pedi services are amazing! The staff was very welcoming and offered me a drink, and made me feel very comfortable. The first time in there I didn't feel lost or not sure what to do, they did an incredible job on the hydrotherapy pedicure. Unfortunately today will be my last time going  to this establishment. The nail technician that I had I'm not sure of what her name is, is the same lady that I had last time that I did not too much care for. Today she hurt me while doing my nails because she was too busy being nosey about other situations that we're going on around us. I asked for a one design which was a cancer ribbon on my nail. She messed up the design. My nail was not fully dry when she went to apply the top coat and it's smudged. So at this point I've been there for over an hour and 15 minutes. I told her just to paint my whole nail the purple which was the same color as the rest of my nails. The technician told the receptionist that I did not want the design so she the reception is wanted to refund my $10 for the design. Unfortunately she did not know how to do a refund back to a credit card so she went to talk to a manager I believe. Another 10 minutes has gone by and no one is unable to help me regarding a refund. I told the receptionist that it was completely fine it's already paid for I don't need the refund back. She was an absolute sweetheart she wanted to give the money back so finally the manager came over to find out exactly what had happened. She was also unable to give a refund that to the card because she did not know how to. Again I told her that it was okay then I found out that there was a $5 charge for a cut down that I was unaware of that I have never been charged for before. I've been coming to this place consistently for almost 5 months and it's just $5 but again I've never been charged for that before. So again I say it's ok. I paid $35 for a basic full set. As much as I love this place, this technician has done it for me. I've gotten different prices each time with her and her customer service skills are not there. Also if you're unable to draw something it's ok. Now I'm out money and looking for another place to go for my nails. Read Less

So I've heard about "that one nail shop that serves mimosas, wine, and beer" but I've never been. Until today. I had time to kill before my fiancé came home and my usual spot & tech was not available for the next 2.5 hours. I decided today was the day I'd try something new and here I am. I live for manis and pedis and throw in FREE mimosas, and hello, my life is complete. My tech's name today was Yoshi and she was a sweetheart, always concerned about the temperature of my water, the hot towels, and dun dun dunnnn...hot stones!!! - another new experience for me! She gently placed them on my legs and quickly asked if they were too hot for me. Initially it was, and I told her I've never had them so it was a different sensation... but she was very careful to replace them back on my legs and before I knew it I was in pedicure bliss. WHAT. WAS. THIS. SORCERY!!! I must have this more often and on every inch of my body!! Well, maybe not "every inch" but damn near it! LoL!!! I found nothing wrong with my paint job and will return. Went for the first time today. I was very pleased with the service and attention. My only issue is that my big toe is still a little tender. I told the tech I thought it was ingrown. She worked on it a little bit but I don't think she was able to take care of it. The nails look great but still tender. They asked about a manicure to. If it hadn't been so late I may have done it. It was close to closing for them and they deserve to go home;). On a teacher's salary I usually pick one or the other anyway. I will definitely be back. Fast forward to today. My toe is very sore. The tech didn't take care of the nail. Dealing with the pain because I don't want to mess up the paint on my toes. I wear sandals all the time until it's to cold to get away with it. I like to keep them looking nice. It seems she also was a little aggressive with the Pedi Egg. I have a spot on the side of my foot that is scraped a little and sore. This place is so amazing! I have been all over VA Beach, and this place is the best. Very reasonably priced and the service was so great. I got the deluxe pedi which was $35, and then I got an extra 15 min massage which was $15. So for a total of $50 I got 1 and 1/2 of pampering. They gave free mimosas or tea and water. It was a nice surprise. The place was very clean and the ladies where so friendly. The manager was constantly checking on people and made u feel so welcome! I was looking on Yelp for a great place to get a pedicure and I convinced my boyfriend to try it with me (his first pedicure). It was AMAZING! The staff are really courteous, they take special time and don't rush you, they do everything to make you comfortable. A free glass of moscato?? Yes please. I really wanted to like them after all the awesome reviews and pictures I have seen but I have to say I am really upset right now.  My one nail was cut way too short and crooked and I'm scared it will become ingrown soon.  The rest of my nails were cut and shaped okay, not great but I was never asked any questions  or given any options.  I was barely spoken too.  On top of everything else my nails were not even close to dry and now are missing spots of polish.  I sat under the dryer until I was told I am done...I kind of feel like crying.  I paid for the pedi and even tipped hoping maybe that girl is new but I'm devastated.Now I have to go on vacation and hide my toes :( Read Less
