So I've been getting my lashes done by elle for years! She has always been on point with her lashes! Im a perfectionist and I have always been supper stoked everytime :) I can not recommend her more to everyone!! She has such a fun bubbly personality and the Beauty Bar itself is modern clean and beautiful! I've since recently also seen Tinika for lashes and can not fault them either!! She's a very lovely young lady and wouldn't hesitate to book in to see her either if you can't get in to see Elle, you are in safe and very capable hands!! I have been visiting these wonderful Ladies for just over a year now. I had a previous disaster with my eyelashes and Elle came to my rescue and does an absolute superb job each and every time. What Zoe doesn't know about skin and skin care is probably not worth knowing. Nail technicians were inexperienced. One technician was too rough and cut the skin around my nails, and then became rude. I worked with three technicians for several services. I've been going here for over a year now and I've had just about every nail tech do my nails! I do have Stephanie as my absolute favorite but I'd be just as happy to have any other techs there. I visited this establishment for the first time because I was given a gift certificate for there. Heather is awesome and did a great job. The owner could use some people skills training. I got a spa pedicure and a manicure, no fake nails and was charged 110 dollars which was over the amount of the certificate, and I thought 85 for a gift certificate for nails was outrageous enough. I've been in here a few times and have decided not to go back. I was finding a new place closer to my work but I'd rather travel now. Stephanie is way too rough. She hurts and cuts me all the time. Peter and Ashley both have done my nails as well and I had to go back numerous times for a broken nail. Keep in mind I've been getting my nails done for over 20 years and never have an issue with them breaking regularly so it's something they're doing. I visited this nail salon on a whim and I'm very glad I did! Upon entering I was greeted by Stephanie and only waited a few minutes to be serviced by the technician Heather. The environment is clean and cool. Heather was super nice. Although she did acknowledge that she doesn't know how to do nail designs she worked really hard to do a great mani/pedi. You should never leave a salon with cuts on your fingers Bc a tech isn't proficient at using an electric nail file. She apologized but continued to cut every finger. Look at my reviews, I don't post negative ones. I go out of my way to leave good reviews for good places. I walked into sassy (not my usual place) expecting great service Bc of all the reviews, I did see the famous Stephanie was not in. I was getting a fill.The nail tech that was available was a very nice girl with pink hair. She was very polite and tried to maintain conversation. Then she started using the drill file. She went around my entire finger. Not like you're thinking, like a ring wraps around. Ooops, she'd say, sorry. No biggie I though oh well.After she filled in my empty nail space, actually gelling my skin to my nails on everyfinger she got out her drill again.She had trouble keeping it moving at the right speed and said "uhh I hate this drill" She cut my finger. It started to bleed, I figured no big deal. She cut another finger this time saying "sorry" I'm still like OMG what am I gonna do? Am I gonna walk out? This sucks it hurts. She cut a THIRD FREAKING FINGER. I said "you're cutting up all my fingers" to which she I lie not said "I said sorry." And looked at another tech and said take her. Hahahahahahaha  okay this is where I had to bite my tongue before it got real petty in there. But I did have to ask her what she was mad at me for?! You're the one who obviously doesn't know what you're doing. Look, I've been getting my nails done since I was 13, I'm going on 30. I have NEVER had someone nick my skin repeatedly. I mean it happens but on every finger? Come on. This takes me back to her lying about her experience as a nail tech. But that's a whole different post.Here's a hint lady, If you don't lie you don't have to keep up with your lie.I still have this business three stars Bc the girl who I was passed off to was very very apologetic, and not only that did not once cut my freaking skin, and shaped my nails better than the previous lady had tried.Maybe the other girl was having a bad day... I have been looking for a nail tech for awhile and luckily I found Ashley! She is the bomb. I ALWAYS enjoy getting my nails and toes done by her. She even does a little hand massage when I get my nails filled (most nail techs don't do this). Stephanie also does a great job at eyebrows. She is the only person in the 757 that I will let touch them. She has literally brought my eyebrows back to life after I had a lady completely screw them up at a different salon. Check them out and hopefully your experience is as great as mines have been. No matter where I move to in Va Beach I will continue to visit Sassy Nails ... I am out of town vacationing in VA Beach, and I had an incredible experience at Sassy Nails. Alicia did an amazing French gel manicure on my nails and polished my toes perfectly. The massage chairs and the pedi/mani stations are kept fairly clean. There aren't leftover towels or anything around which is always a plus. The pedi sinks are a nice blue color so it makes you feel as if you've dipped your feet into a pool. There are a few photos on the walls reflecting mani/pedis. The quality of the photos are nice so it adds to the ambiance. Rey gave me a mani/pedi and they turned out perfectly! I originally chose a neutral tan color and after she painted one nail, I asked her how it would look with at least 3 coats. She was honest and said that if I didn't like a more clear look that I should choose something else. She asked me a few follow-up questions and actually went to pick out a new color for me. She brought back a few samples and I ended up going with one of the lighter pink shades she chose. PERFECTO!Rey gave me a long massage for both my hands and feet which were really unexpected since that's usually the part that most salons skimp on. I'm not complaining! Oh my goodness..after having the worst experience I've ever had at a salon at nail pro..My mom and I decided to come to sassy nails..I'd been here before and liked how friendly they were..They got us right in and we told them what we wanted..my nails turned out perfect;) I love them my mom likes hers too..Stephanie did my nails but everyone here does great nails here, I was talking to her asking if I could bring in some nail decals..and then it happened. .Stephanie he pulled it out and I nearly squeeled I was so excited. .She has a great big box of beauty guys!!It's a magical box containing tons of rhinestones in different sizes c nail charms..those confetti looking charms I mean she had it all..i couldn't believe it, had I have know that this magic box existed I would have picked something different but I still do love what she did to my nails!! Let me start by saying that I love to "shop around" when it comes to nail salons.  I have been to so many in the Hampton Roads area and when someone suggested this one because of the amazing sugar scrub, I wanted to try it out.  I love the Laskin Road area; it is known for being an upscale part of Virginia Beach, and many of the shops I frequent there have been as such.  I was hoping this place would be the same, but unfortunately, it was not.I walked in on a Saturday afternoon for a pedicure.  The place was somewhat busy and, due to the fact that I did not have an appointment, I was not surprised that I had to wait.  I was greeted quickly and asked to pick out a color.  There were four technicians working and one technician, that seemed like a manager, was walking around tending to things around the shop.  Despite the fact there was one open pedicure chair, I was not offered to sit in the pedicure section, and remained in the waiting section for about ten minutes. I was taken back to the pedicure chair by the lady that seemed like the manager and she said she would be doing my nails.  I sat down and put my feet in the water and began to relax- we were about to begin.  Suddenly, the phone rang and my technician ran to answer.  From what I understood, someone said they wanted to come in soon for a fix.  After she hung up, she came and told me she would not be doing my nails and that someone would be with me in a moment.  A person walked in the door within 5 minutes and sat down with my technician, who started doing her nails---I was left to wait for someone else.  15 minutes later, a new technician came over.  She was very pleasant.  Seriously, the best part of the experience.  She was thorough and kind and did a great job.  Unfortunately, that was the only positive part!  I'm not sure about everybody else, but when I go get a pedicure, it's a treat.  I want to relax in solace and be pampered for the 30-45 minutes of my day that is not spent cleaning dishes or changing diapers.  Instead, I was met with loud cursing by other patrons, one of whom (being louder than the rest) could not speak to her friends without every other word being "fuck," "ass," or "shit."  Now, I'm no prude, but it was just SO inappropriate, seeing as there were other people in the place who wanted to relax, one of which was a small child.  Instead, we were forced to listen to their often inappropriate adult conversation.  I was debating as to whether I should base the salon's review on that, since they cannot control who their patrons are, but they could have asked the lady to quiet down or not use that kind of language in the salon with so many other guests being subjected to it.  I honestly expected more for a salon on Laskin Road.  For a salon that boasts to be a place of peace, I found it to be anything but.  I will say that the technicians seem really nice, even though many of them were taking personal phone calls or eating their lunches in front of customers and the salon, other than a dead bug on the floor, seemed very clean, it was not the experience I was looking forward to all week.  Definitely will not be going back, even for the awesome sugar scrub. I am not from VA Beach so I used Yelp. Boy it definitely did not let me down. All the girls that worked here were super nice. They opened promptly at 10am and already had three customers by the time I walked in at 10:05. It was very clean and I had no wait at all. I got a basic pedicure with nail art on my big toes. My first impression was that it was not fancy at all. Very bare bones, maybe even a bit weathered, but they took me in on time and Stephanie was very fast and efficient. I got my fill, she thinned out the thickness from the last gal, my nails looked beautiful and professional and alot of gel colors to choose from which was nice. she had me done in 30 min. except for the polish, she did a sugar rub on my hands afterward too, it felt great! I like a classy short, thin colored nail. She did exactly what I like to perfection! I can't say the price was great, it was comparable of all the nail prices here in VA are a bit higher than I am used to but I definately feel I got my monies worth! She was no hassle, no argue, great workmanship and quick. I am definately going back to this one and I will be trying the pedicure next. Read Less
