Myself and my daughter treated ourselves to a Shellac manicure over the summer break that didn’t disappoint. Jade, the salon owner is such a sweetie with a wealth of industry knowledge. She worked her ‘magic’ on our nails, providing just the right shape and nail colour. I am not a local but will definitely return when visiting the Gold Coast and happily recommend to friends and family in the area who are after professional nail or other beauty treatments at a very affordable price. Melissa has been doing my nails for years! I love going to her because she is very professional and always does outstanding work. She lets me change colors and the way I have my nails done. I am hard on my nails but she never gives me a bad time and does not overcharge for her services. And to top it off Melissa is very kind. She doesn't dominate a conversation and listens. Woo-hoo! I had such a great experience with them. I'm one of those people who usually get anxiety over going to the salon due to past experiences. I didn't feel that way here. Melissa S. was my stylist. She did a consultation with me to discuss all the options and get a clear understanding of what look I was hoping for. I wanted to brighten my hair without getting too blonde. She told me the 5th avenue balayage would give me a more natural sun kissed look and explained the differences with this highlighting technique. It turned out perfect! I brought along my own Monat products asked her to mix in one drop Rejuveniqe oil per once of developer.  Then she shampooed me with Renew and conditioned with Revitalize. Before blow drying she added something of her own as a smoothing cream/heat protector. That was called Biomega Smoothing Elixir. I was very pleased with the results. Jade is a true artisan when it comes to eyelash extensions. I had tried other places before Salon 26 only to be disappointed each time. Although the 1st week always looked great, by the 2nd week the lashes started looking scruffy and unruly, even though I tried my best to look after them. Jade is meticulous and patient and has complete pride in her work. My lashes always look fabulous for 4 to 5 weeks. I came to see jade yesterday to have my last acrylics taken off & Then new ones applied. The fresh set I have now are by the far the best ones I have ever had. Her skills, professionalism & client focus was something I have not received from any big named nail bars on the Gold Coast I have been too. Highly recommend anyone too jade not too mention her pricing was just $60 for these two serviced. In the past I have paid upwards of $100 for the same services. Thanks again jade! Read Less
