This place is the truth! I was looking for a place to have a spa day for my cousin's bachelorette weekend, and it came up during my Google search. While there were other places more well known, and frankly a little fancier (and WAY more expensive), there were none who had more positive reviews. Teena, the owner worked with me to get all 6 of us scheduled around the same time, and offered the waiting room for us to hang out.  I had Alexandra for a 90-minute deep tissue massage, as did one of my cousin's. She was EXCELLENT. Teena also did 2 of the massages and Kelly did the other 2. There were nothing but good reports all around. He booked a couples massage for Valentine's Day (thank God they had an opening). We were greeted very warmly as we checked in and were walked back to the waiting room area. They had many complimentary goodies for Valentine's Day. They had a cute spread of cookies, cupcakes, snacks, beverages, and they had a coffee/tea bar. The massage therapists were so nice and accommodating! They made sure to focus on areas that needed some TLC (tender love and care) like my back for instance. There was an option for aromatherapy oils. I chose the muscle relaxation which had peppermint. My Valentine chose an Energy blend. Today I went to Paradise Found for a prenatal massage. A client gave me a $100 gift card so I didn't have a choice of where to go for my monthly massage. Being new to Virginia, I've been trying to find a place to become a "regular". Today, I found the right masseuse. Alexandra was my assigned masseuse and she was wonderful. I dreaded a "prenatal massage" because I usually like deep tissue, but thankfully she still incorporated a firm pressure, of course in areas where my baby bump wasn't harmed. The massage table was warmed, music was a great volume and selection, and lotion smelt great. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars, is because the hall was noisy, like other employees weren't respectful of other possible therapists in session. Don't question the owner, Freeda when she's working on your nails, even if one is pointing down and the tip is stuck to your skin!! She will blame you for it being droopy and will refuse to fix it. She will even go as far as not wanting to finish your nails and give you the option of filing all the acrylic off yourself or having to sit through a passive aggressive look while she removes it for you. Such an unfortunate experience.Also very small only 2 seats for pedicures and 2 for manicures. And they aren't very quick, took over 2.5hrs to do a French tip and simple manicure when normally it takes less than 1.5hrs. Read Less

Me and my husband were in the area Saturday so we made an appt for the Couples Hoopla which was a pedicure, massage and foot massage for both of us. That was all well worth the money spent!! I found it! Paradise that is. I'm not a girly girl. I don't wear makeup, I only get pedicures occasionally. But I wanted to pamper myself a bit before the baby gets here.I booked online which is a great option if you're like me and don't like talking to people. The atmosphere is automatically soothing. The nail room is nice and they have beverages and a really nice, accommodating bathroom.My pedi experience was awesome. Frankie knows her stuff and was pleasant to talk with. I went to paradise this past summer to get my boyfriend a surprise full body massage. He loved it! So I decided to return and see about the wax services and boy am I glad I did. Adrienne is absolutely AMAZING!!!! I have been waxed many times before and some how I still get nervous each time. However, She makes the experience as painless as possible and she is very professional. There is never an awkward silence and boom.... your finished. I was also able to talk to her about my oily skin issues and rather than product push on me, she was able to give me some pointers and a regiment to try out for a week. Even though I came in just for a thirty minute light massage, it was so relaxing that I wanted to ask if I could increase the time for another 30 minutes. 30 minute massage for $35? Sounds like a deal to me. Definitely recommend Megan. I had Janel do my nails and she was the sweetest nail tech ever. She's kind and will try to get you comfortable by talking to you just about anything. She's a great listener and also offers good advice. I don't normally leave reviews for any of the businesses I frequent, but I decided that I will from now on when I have an awesome experience like I have here. :)Not only does this place have a super awesome and friendly staff, the spa is bright and inviting (beachy!), comfortable (yeah, like a spa, right?), and they really go above and beyond to make sure you're ecstatic about the service you're getting. I've had the best massages of my life here and I've also given gift certificates to others who have reported the same. Also, if you're well-endowed like some of us, they have a BOOB PILLOW. Beat that!My most recent experience was with my nails. Now, my nails are generally ROUGH. I can't paint them because it looks like a 5 year old did it, or they're ruined right away from dinging them on things, biting, etc. I got shellac polish put on and I have to say I am IN LOVE. This stuff is for the gods, seriously. It's mirror shiny, really durable, better looking than polish, and it won't ruin my nails like some of the other methods I've tried before.
