I work in the shopping plaza so I stopped by here after work one day to get some prenatal tlc. Mimi did my nails and did a great job. Very friendly and easy to talk to. I forgot the other girls name who did my toes, but she was awesome too! She had on a light blue sweater and was also from Houston like me! So we had a blast conversing about missing home lol. Nothing felt rushed and you don't get that "herded cattle" feeling here like you would at other places. Environment is very tranquil and soothing. You get a zen vibe right off the bat. Great aromatherapy as well. The wax treatment was awesome! It's free and they give you the option to do it after your manicure is completed. Another preggo girl who happened to be in there for services too, urged me to try it and I loved it! It made my hands soft and it was relaxing. Overall my first experience here was great! I live closer to db nail salon, but they are WAY overpriced for amateur work and one of their employees had the nerve to leave a nasty comment when I left an honest yelp review on them because the experience sucked. I think it's safe to say I found my "spot" here in va beach. For months I refused to go to get my nails done anywhere after the db nail fiasco because of ridiculous pricing or rude people. I love My Spa!! Mimi is my favorite and does such excellent and beautiful work, but honestly I would trust anyone in there because I've watched them all work! I just love Mimi! The salon is beautiful and up to date, the services are extensive and I've always been treated well! I appreciate that they recognize me when I call and seem happy to see me when I get there!! Not sure what's up with the negative reviews. I came in on a Wednesday morning around 11am. It was practically empty. They got me right in for a pedicure. It was very nice. Only $26 for the basic spa pedi. Very relaxing. Water or hot tea complimentary. Clean. Nice music. Polite staff. No complaints here! Read Less

I'm very picky with my nails salons & techs and this salon has won my heart for years now. Paul and Mimi run an amazing salon! It's super clean and there is a procedure for everything. Get your nails done one day and the next day you mess up a nail? Go in and they will fix it no charge! I had 1:30 appt for pedi and after waiting few minutes because no one acknowledged me , I stood up to ask about appt . Great pedicure. It has a full a customizable apothecary of textures and scents. I got lemongrass and rose and hot rock massage, sugar scrub and toes painted. The staff was friendly and my techician Kim was gentile with my ticklish feet, but worked dilligantly on my rough spots. I love the ambiance. It is pricy, but you get what you pay for, so it is worth it because you get pampered. I highly recommend this place and will come back to get my feet done again. Read Less

Doesn't deserve a star at all . I took my 4yo niece for her first pedi ever and these rude Rude RUDE people split us up even though there were chairs by each other and set us in DRY pedi chairs for 16 minutes before they even put water in hers leaving Me with none. This is a terrible experience for her first pedi. I got up and went over to talk to her because she was nervous and canceled my pedi.  I'm not tipping a penny they don't deserve anything.  I even asked for water in them and was ignored. Me and my friend went and got pedicures and acrylic nails together.. My experience was great. Paul was nice, knew what he was doing, and did a great job. My friend on the other hand had Kim. She was terrible. After we told her we wanted the 28$ pedicure instead of the 50$ one she was so rude. My friends acrylics look like complete crap. I will go back but i will ask for Paul or Mimi. If I lived here, this would definitely be a go to place for pedicures. They offer a menu of different herbal pedicures with different aromatic benefits for your needs and wants. They take extreme pride in making sure you get the absolute best pedicure service, even if it is close to closing time. Like another reviewer said, never once did it feel rushed and that was greatly appreciated because I needed it. To be more specific on the pedicure I chose, I received the rose and lemongrass pedicure. I could have fallen asleep, LOL. I came in with my boyfriend around 4 o'clock on a Sunday (an hour before closing time, which I did not realize at the time). The staff was nice and seated us for our pedi as soon as I had picked out my colors. We both got a regular pedi and it was wonderful ($28/each). The salon was clean and relaxing. After I was done with my pedi, I got a gel mani ($32). Even though it was closing time, we never felt rushed! If you are in need of a good mani/pedi, request Nathan. This place is awesome. I love going here. It's always relaxing and the ambience is wonderful. It's not like all the other nail shops that are loud and people chattering away. Getting my pedicures is a time for me to unplug and let the world melt away. Love this place.
