Pleasure place nearby home. Good atmosphere, good service. Came to get a pedicure after a long day at work. Totally worth it the time spent there. Recommended this place. Highly RECOMMENDED!!!

I hate to give small businesses bad reviews. But KP nails plus has earned theirs. I had a gel manicure done on Thursday by Monday 5 nails had chipped. When I went back another tech redid the chipped nails. She did not ask me my name or anything else. Her first question: did she have to do the nails that were chipped? Huh?! That is the reason I returned. And so this is how it went. The technicians--all four-- treated me as if somehow I was responsible for the chipping. Second question asked: did I wash my hands with soap when asked to rinse my hands on when I got the manicure ? No. Then I was asked where did I go after the manicure "since I was in such a hurry"? I spent 2 hours and 15 minutes at this salon. More important, the gel manicure was dry.
Mind now no one greeted with any cordialness. I am so disappointed. I really do think everybody deserves a second chance. KP nails plus technicians got their second chance and blew it. I hope no one else has the experience that I had. I will not be returning.

Called this morning and was able to get a same day appointment. I asked if they did gel nails and they said yes! The manicurist are very detailed, friendly and sweet. And their attention to detail was outstanding! The place is very upscale. Overall a positive experience. I will certainly visit this place again.

When my nail tech isn't able to squeeze me in, I come to this location. I really never have anyone that I would just be like "go to them" at this location, until today.
Julie was very helpful in making sure that the gel came off my nails. They had me soak off my old polish. When Julie started, she sprung up conversation which was really nice. She was very focused on detail and making sure that everything was okay to my standards.
A regular gel cost $30. That includes a manicure with your gel color. Also, the nice soft wax they put over your hands.
I recommend this location.

I had to go three times in 16 days after a full new set of nails kept popping off because the nail tech forgot to use primer the first time. Instead of starting new, she repaired and filled and the nails continued to pop off. Oh, and they charged me $20 for the polish on the repair. I got my money back for that and was told they would fix the nails. On the third visit, they wanted to charge me for the fill because the initial set was done 16 days prior. Unbelievable! I spent $160 in 2 months at this salon and they were rude and i accommodating nor apologetic. Never again. Oh, and when a business owner and staff in America can speak English to learn what happened, they absolutely shouldn't be communicating about your problem in their language in front of you. Don't spend your money here. They no longer post prices and it seems they make them up as they go along.

Absolutely awful nail job. Asked for acrylics and was told that I would be “too sensitive” to wear them. I asked for them anyways and the lady said I could try it one time, but she didn’t end up doing it anyways. Two of my fingers bled and were covered up with nail polish - now it just burns. After all of this and getting nail polish all over the skin of my fingers, I was charged THIRTY DOLLARS for a simple nail paint. Thirty dollars, when my acrylics should’ve been $25. Didn’t tip and it was absolutely ridiculous to be charged so much for such a terrible job. Very disappointed, never ever go here unless you want to waste your money. (P.S. you will be talked about in a foreign language) Wish I could give less than one star.

My sister and I came in for acrylic sets for $25 each. I asked for black acrylic nails, and I got a mood color changing set, which was not explained to me. The guy who did my nails did not speak a lick of English, and he did a terrible job. He left nail polish all over my skin surrounding the nails. If I wanted a crappy nail job, I would have done it myself!!
The woman doing my sister's nails would not allow her to get what she wanted: acrylic nails as well. She argued that my sister would not want them, although she did. Then she went against her wishes and simply just painted her nails.
The set was supposed to be $25, but i was charged $30. $25 was the price for acrylics, so I find it odd that I was charged more for less.
Never coming back here, and recommending people to NEVER COME HERE. Despicable.

After drying and paying I had to have them redo my polish bc it looked so bad. I'm really annoyed with the amount of time this has taken bc there was only a 10-15 minute wait but the rest of it is chsnging color on toes and brows.

I understand wanting to get the job done but you should let your customers relax some. Definitely won't be going back.

Did some online research before going to this place, I am happy I did. I was pleasantly surprised! KP Nails Plus is located in the plaza behind Navy Federal of Upton Dr. This salon is a family owned business. The salon was very nice and clean. Very welcoming from the moment I walked in. I signed in but as I was getting ready to sit down, they asked to come back to get started. Granted everyone had a customer, one lady got my pedi station ready and went back to her client. As I was sitting down a young lady came out from the back and got started. I got a basic pedi and it was amazing and very relaxing. Amy, the young lady that did my pedicure was very nice and professional. Once she was done she help me move to the manicure station where someone else did my hands. The experience was great. Priced well too, was actually surprised. Only $65.00 for both mani/pedi with acrylics! Will definitely return to this salon.

I asked the lady when I would be helped and she said she was just setting her up. Ok cool. Then a lady finishes helping someone and goes to the lady to start her pedi. I'm still the only one waiting so I ask the lady why she was helped before me when all i needed was a nail fix. She said the lady only does toes... I clearly just saw her to a French manicure before she went to the other lady to start her pedi. So I ask the lady how much longer and she goes to ask one girl if she could help me and she made an excuse...asked another and she did the same. Is this how you all do business? No worries you won't ever have to worry about me again. 2 stars because the place looks nice. Never have I ever had an experience like this.

A big thank you to the ladies at the Nail Bar Cafe for a wonderful experience. We had unfortunately missed out flights to Byron bay which meant we would miss our earlier appointment for four people. The girls managed to get us in later that day and were completely understanding even though we had just lost them 4 spots in the middle of what would be one of their busier days. We walked away after having their amazing spa Pedicures and felt relaxed and refreshed. We will definately be booking this place everytime we visit Byron Bay ❤️

I entered the store a few days ago and asked about fixing my nails (acrylic with one missing). The lady replied very haughtily (fake smile that didn't touch her eyes) that they only do natural nails. I was about to say I was happy to go back to natural when she spoke over the top of me and directed me to another store, then turned and walked away. I wouldn't normally go out of my way to leave a bad review for a place I did not receive service from (and I know it's kind of weird), but I was just so shocked at the attitude of this woman. To be fair though it seems there are many Byron Bay locals with the same attitude.

As far as pedicures go, this place is legit. I am barefoot 90% of my life, so whenever things start to get gnarly, this is my go to spot. You never need an appointment, its $25 for a regular or $35 for the deluxe which comparatively, is a lot cheaper than some of the places around here. They do a legitimately good job and are super kind people. The place is clean, they offer a number of services and are reasonably priced. Just remember, while they do accept credit cards, they do not allow you to tip on them, so bring some cash.

I'm wasn't one to treat myself with manicures and pedicures until I accidentally had too much free time in my hands and discovered Nail Bar Cafe! It's conveniently located close to Aldi and it's just so nice to come in and put my feet up and get pampered by the lovely therapists. It has a clean, light and friendly atmosphere and for an hour or so it feels like I'm in a mini retreat. I especially love the Dead Sea foot scrub and the massage chair!

I come in every 2 weeks for an OPI gel manicure and a regular polish pedicure. They have a wide variety of OPI polish colors. I occasionally get an eyebrow wax. They always look way better afterwards. If you are looking for a place for quality service give them a try!

I'm pretty sure it was just this one lady and I wish I had gotten her name. My friends who came with me and got pedicures had a fantastic experience with the men who were doing their toes. But my manicure was so bad I'm embarrassed I paid for it at all. First time I have ever stiffed a manicurist. Please be careful because I think they realize that you are there only on vacation and won't be back anyway.. They are really fast, I'll say that.

If I wanted a crappy nail job, I would have done it myself!!
The woman doing my sister's nails would not allow her to get what she wanted: acrylic nails as well. She argued that my sister would not want them, although she did. Then she went against her wishes and simply just painted her nails.
The set was supposed to be $25, but i was charged $30. $25 was the price for acrylics, so I find it odd that I was charged more for less.
Never coming back here, and recommending people to NEVER COME HERE. Despicable.

After drying and paying I had to have them redo my polish bc it looked so bad. I'm really annoyed with the amount of time this has taken bc there was only a 10-15 minute wait but the rest of it is chsnging color on toes and brows.

(We chose this place after reading great reviews and after going I just don't get it) They RACED through our pedicures and when you're finished that quick it is not relaxing. I understand wanting to get the job done but you should let your customers relax some. Definitely won't be going back.

Did some online research before going to this place, I am happy I did. I was pleasantly surprised! KP Nails Plus is located in the plaza behind Navy Federal of Upton Dr. This salon is a family owned business. The salon was very nice and clean. Very welcoming from the moment I walked in. I signed in but as I was getting ready to sit down, they asked to come back to get started. Granted everyone had a customer, one lady got my pedi station ready and went back to her client. As I was sitting down a young lady came out from the back and got started. I got a basic pedi and it was amazing and very relaxing. Amy, the young lady that did my pedicure was very nice and professional. Once she was done she help me move to the manicure station where someone else did my hands. The experience was great. Priced well too, was actually surprised. Only $65.00 for both mani/pedi with acrylics! Will definitely return to this salon.

I had a great experience while I was there. I walked in greeted and sat right down. I got a pedicure and it was relaxing. The only problem is that the clear coat that was put on it wasn't put all on my nail so you can see where it wasn't at, a couple of toes it's only ok half the nail. Other than that it was great and I'll be returning just keeping a closer look before I leave.

I came here to get a nail repaired. I signed in and waited to be help. There was no wait and I waited 40 mins. Another lady walked in and was seated for a pedi. I asked the lady when I would be helped...

I asked the lady when I would be helped and she said she was just setting her up. Ok cool. Then a lady finishes helping someone and goes to the lady to start her pedi. I'm still the only one waiting so I ask the lady why she was helped before me when all i needed was a nail fix. She said the lady only does toes... I clearly just saw her to a French manicure before she went to the other lady to start her pedi. So I ask the lady how much longer and she goes to ask one girl if she could help me and she made an excuse...asked another and she did the same. Is this how you all do business? No worries you won't ever have to worry about me again. 2 stars because the place looks nice. Never have I ever had an experience like this.

A big thank you to the ladies at the Nail Bar Cafe for a wonderful experience. We had unfortunately missed out flights to Byron bay which meant we would miss our earlier appointment for four people. The girls managed to get us in later that day and were completely understanding even though we had just lost them 4 spots in the middle of what would be one of their busier days. We walked away after having their amazing spa Pedicures and felt relaxed and refreshed. We will definately be booking this place everytime we visit Byron Bay ❤️

I entered the store a few days ago and asked about fixing my nails (acrylic with one missing). The lady replied very haughtily (fake smile that didn't touch her eyes) that they only do natural nails. I was about to say I was happy to go back to natural when she spoke over the top of me and directed me to another store, then turned and walked away. I wouldn't normally go out of my way to leave a bad review for a place I did not receive service from (and I know it's kind of weird), but I was just so shocked at the attitude of this woman. To be fair though it seems there are many Byron Bay locals with the same attitude.

As far as pedicures go, this place is legit. I am barefoot 90% of my life, so whenever things start to get gnarly, this is my go to spot. You never need an appointment, its $25 for a regular or $35 for the deluxe which comparatively, is a lot cheaper than some of the places around here. They do a legitimately good job and are super kind people. The place is clean, they offer a number of services and are reasonably priced. Just remember, while they do accept credit cards, they do not allow you to tip on them, so bring some cash.

I'm wasn't one to treat myself with manicures and pedicures until I accidentally had too much free time in my hands and discovered Nail Bar Cafe! It's conveniently located close to Aldi and it's just so nice to come in and put my feet up and get pampered by the lovely therapists. It has a clean, light and friendly atmosphere and for an hour or so it feels like I'm in a mini retreat. I especially love the Dead Sea foot scrub and the massage chair!

I come in every 2 weeks for an OPI gel manicure and a regular polish pedicure. They have a wide variety of OPI polish colors. I occasionally get an eyebrow wax. They always look way better afterwards. If you are looking for a place for quality service give them a try!

Worst manicure EVER. She cut my cuticles so clumsily that she broke the skin--TWICE. I told her she was hurting me and that I was bleeding and got ZERO response. I'm pretty sure it was just this one lady and I wish I had gotten her name. My friends who came with me and got pedicures had a fantastic experience with the men who were doing their toes. But my manicure was so bad I'm embarrassed I paid for it at all. First time I have ever stiffed a manicurist. Please be careful because I think they realize that you are there only on vacation and won't be back anyway.. They are really fast, I'll say that.
