Very clean and professional.  Cheryl did my hair, very personable.  It did not smell like cigarette smoke in there, which is a pet peeve of mine.  I don't like smelling smoke on stylists when they come in from their breaks.  I find that is common in a lot of salons.  It was very pleasant in there today.   There was conversation, but the stylists weren't yelling back and forth at each other across the room about personal life drama of their own.  I don't know how it is on a day to day basis.  But, it was certainly very nice today.  They had coffee available, which made me happy for a morning appointment.  I understand they serve beer and wine, mimosas, etc. too.  Very beachy feel, with a mermaid theme.  I would definitely go back again. The salon was very nice, and they were great about getting me in on short notice right before a trip. I do wish they had let me know I was seeing someone new to the salon as I may not have opted for such a different cut right before my trip. The lady was very nice, and she was very professional when she could see I was a bit concerned about the amount coming off. I could tell she really wanted to make me happy. I understand everyone is new at some point, but if I had known I probably would have insisted on just a good trim of the dead ends instead of agreeing to a completely different cut taking off a good chunk of hair that will take a while to grow out. Unfortunately the cut really doesn't seem to work well with my hair, or at least I can't seem to style it right. I just look like I have a lot of fly aways. Read Less

I love my hair! I have recently moved to Virginia Beach and was looking for a new hair salon, I saw some reviews on yelp and figured I'd give them a try. Sara was the stylist I chose, and I am very happy I did! The first time I went in Sara did an awesome consultation with me, she was very honest, she understood what I wanted and was definitely able achieve the look I was going for. I've been getting my hair cut by Sarah Fisher for nearly 10 years now! She's amazing and truly knows/loves what she's doing. The entire staff love their jobs and are great at it :) They do anything from just a trim to prom up-do's to complete make overs! I have the worlds frizziest hair; when it rains it gets even bigger. My regular hairdresser told me my hair would really benefit from the Brazilian Blowout. I went in to Heather's and spoke to the ladies and they were all very nice. Very welcoming atmosphere. My hair expert was Michelle. She really knew how to handle my type of hair and transformed it from this frizzy mess in the first picture to the silky soft curls in the second picture. I said specifically that my bangs need to be straightened but would like to keep the natural wave on the rest. Heather and her entire staff are so kind professional and knowledgeable with hair coloring styling and products. My stylist Cheryl has taken my hair from a chopped-up mess (from a previous stylist at another salon), to the color and style that I love today. Cheryl has even  help me in exploring adding  some fun color to my hair  in the form of magenta Peekaboo highlights  which I absolutely love . The stylists take their time and listen to what your wants are and assist you in choosing the right color and cut that suits U. I haven't spent money on my hair in 2 years, but today was worth every dollar! I love my new style and feel wonderful. My 3 sons, including my 7 month-old son, were with me the entire time.
