Received a pedicure here on Friday, had to remind the nail tech that she skipped steps on one foot,nails cut slanted and she didn’t file all toes, I repeatedly corrected her work as she went on, nails and toenails painted uneven she said it would dry even, well it did not. Came back in today not pleased and the manager advised me they could only do a top coat because it’s not that bad, she then told me to come back later because they are to busy right now. This is my second time coming here I will not be coming back worst service ever. Total waste of money. Please don’t waste your time here very rude and they rush through every service. Read Less

Had a wonderful experience here; the staff was friendly; the salon and bathroom smelled great (not overly chemicaly at all); and best of all my gel nails look AMAZING. Tammy was very helpful in helping me pick out a natural color for my short nails. She also used a buffer tool that was gentle on my cuticles before clipping so I felt no pain. 10/10 would get my nails done here again! Read Less

I love coming to Henry at Envy Nails. He is very personable and does a great job with my Dip powder and gives a great foot and leg massage with pedicures. I have heard from my best friend that other people in this salon do a great job with dip too but I've only been to Henry. He has done my nails quite a few times and I will NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE! When he does my SNS it last for a month or more. No chipping, no breaking, no cracking, good price, no complaints what so ever. He is talented and fast too! And yes! Today I went to Envy for a set of ombré pink and whites. It wasn’t very busy and I was seated almost immediately. I was able to view a sample of the different color options before choosing. While my nails look good, the customer service was not. The male who did my nails kept leaving in the middle of him doing my nails to ring people up, fill up the pedicure bowls, etc. He left at least 4 times, and was very rude. When I didn’t laugh he would pass it off as “just joking” and my friend and I went there together and she walked out after they were almost done with my nails and she hadn’t even been seated yet. I live in Greenbrier, and I drive almost 30 minutes just to come here. I usually get Henry, but if I do end up walking in, any of their nail techs have been just as amazing. They always listen to what I want, and for Henry, he takes extra time to make sure my nails are perfect. I am a bad nail biter and with their help every two weeks, I have finally grown my nails out! I highly recommend dip powder, it lasts at least 3 weeks (and that's me picking at them and being rough on my nails). Love love love!! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! There was a long wait however once I finally got into a chair things went smoothly. I should have walked out when they emptied the tub my feet were soaking in (while I was waiting on them) and they let me sit there with no water for a solid 10-15 mins despite the owner walking past me several times. The lady who finally gave me a pedicure was rude and it was obvious she didn't want to be there. The salon itself wasn't very visually appealing (not that it matters to me), and not very clean. This was a first time visit and I could definitely see myself returning. It's located in the Trader Joe's shopping center on Laskin Rd however, I almost missed because the signage kind of blended in too well. Anywho, I was greeted upon entering and taken right back for my pedicure. The shop is clean with plenty of nail stations and pedicure chairs. I was serviced by a very pleasant young lady named V. She was polite and did a great job on my toes. The foot massage almost put me to sleep. That's a plus. The prices are reasonable with no hard pressure to upgrade but love that there are options. All in all, it was a great first time experience and when I'm  in need again while in Virginia Beach I will certainly go back. Read Less

Loved my pedicure and the mandarin scrub that was used. It smelled refreshing! Henry did my nails and took his time. I wanted acrylic dip powder nails with a design and he made my nails look very close to the picture I showed him. I got a few rhinestones on my nails. The only downfall is that some came off before I went to sleep. Yet, some stayed on for three whole weeks! Definitely will be back. Read Less

I highly recommend Envy Nails to anyone. Had my nails done a couple weeks ago at a different nail salon & I wasn't pleased at all. I was in a hurry & had a Christmas party that night. Cara did my nails and I'm so in love! I rarely just really love my nails. Like they're pretty but never /just/ how i wanted or pictured them to be. I'm torn right now... this was my 1st experience there. I needed a gel fill-in & based on the reviews I read, I thought I'd give it a try. So the girl that started on my nails became immediately rude/snippy with-in the 1st minute of my mani because I asked a simple question. "What is the difference between Solar Powder & SNS treatment?" Her answer was very nasty & snippy and I'm not sure why? Perhaps she was having a bad day or she was annoyed I asked a question because I'm not a robot who just kept quiet??? I asked a question because I was curious about their other services and since that is a company that provides select services wouldn't they want to inform & up-sell?! Needless to say it took a lot for me to not tell her off & walk out! But I stuck around to see how things would progress. Things kept getting worse as far as the look of my nails were concerned and just as I was about to put a stop to the mess & ask for another nail tech, another girl came over & sat down! Thank goodness!!! She was wonderful! She saw the in-progress disaster the other girl created & not only fixed it but actually answered my questions, was kind and even threw in a joke. I felt much better. If you decide to try this place out be sure to make an appt. with Carol! I don't know the name of the other girl but she has long hair & is very unpleasant. Very impressed! Great service and great results. I had a manicure and pedicure and I'm happy with it. The place is clean and sanitized. A must for me when it comes to picking a nail place. The owner lady was so nice. Seems like there's a new management in place, so they're very good on service and most of them speaks English fluently. Can't complain. I'm so recommend this place!!! The first time i went there for a fill and i asked them how much it will cost and they said $15,so i sat down for the fill and he asked me if i wanted a cut a little bit and i said yes! the next thing he said was it will cost another $3 JUST to cut them! He continued working on them and told me that he needs to fix some a little more because water may get in them and of course mentioned another $2 in the cost! So from $15 for a fill he charged me $20! I asked him how much would be if i wanna get full set of pink and white and he told me $30 so i made an appt for it and when i came back for the pink and white they charged me $45!!! This was my second time in this nail salon. The first time, I waited 45 mins to be helped. The owner did my nails and they came out decent, but I felt rushed as they were short handed. The second time I visited this salon, I was helped right away since there was only one other customer. A lady with short hair did my nails and was rather rough. She caused my fingers to bleed in two different spots. One of the areas that she cut was cut with the filing drill. It bled the entire time and burned every time products were added to the nail. She kept trying to cover it up by wiping it with her dirty fingernail. Then when it was time to buff the nail, I asked for a clean filing buffer. She shook her head and said ok, then proceeded to use the buffer that was previously used. My nails looked absolutely terrible when she was done, mainly because the white that was applied was old and sticky. Her hand was shaky and the white paint was dingy. My toes were already painted, however I asked for a clear coat on them. I asked to take off my leather sandals first and she said not to worry about removing them. She was very careless and dripped clear polish on both of my leather sandals. I was furious as they were brand new and I wanted to remove them.
