I've been a regular customer at Anthony Vince Nail Spa now for roughly 6 months. I come every 2-3 weeks and always get the Champagne and Rose pedicure and then I do the powder dip for my finger nails. The staff is ALWAYS incredibly helpful and very pleasant to talk to. The only issue I ever ran into was a couple of weeks ago when I went in just for a new set of powder dip nails and they were understaffed due to a bug (which I always praised the owner for because it showed he took care of his employees instead of having them come in sick to spread the sickness) going around. I ended up waiting for about 45 minutes before I decided I needed to leave because I had an appointment an hour later. As I was leaving the manager was wrapping up and said he could get me in and out within the hour. I was doubtful because I felt like that meant the work wouldn't be it's usual amazing standard. Boy was I wrong! The manager removed the old nails and re-did them within 45 minutes and they came out better than they did the first time! I will continue to come to Anthony Vince Nail Spa and I highly recommend it for their great work and awesome staff. The facility itself is also very beautiful and extremely clean. Read Less

I've only been here a couple times but it's a really pretty salon. Everyone who works their knows what they're doing and even if you walk in without an appointment they get you taken care of fast. They're always busy though so book an appointment if you can. I had arylic nails done they still look great. After a month I haven't lost a nail or had any of them start coming up off the nail. This salon is way below par for this shopping center. If I owned this shopping center....  I had to go back 2 days later because my shallac nail color was pulling off of my nails. The skinny guy sat there and pulled ever single nail polish off of all ten of my fingers. It just pulled right off. So I said I might as well get another color. He accused me of wrecking my nails on purpose so that I could get a color change. And he said they were pulling off of my nails because I scratched my head after I washed my hands. That's bullshit. He was being such an asshole because I wanted to switch the color. I definitely did not return back or wreck my nails because I didn't like the color. He was just extremely rude and hard to understand. Telling many many people come back wanting another color after they mess up their own nails. My nails were perfect when I came back. I showed him were it was pulling away and he proceeded to pull every single one of them off. He was just very unreasonable. And sadly I will not be going back to this place. The lady that came and fixed them and went ahead and did a different color told me that he has anger issues. Clearly he does. I didn't think it would be s big deal to switch the color since I had to take the time out of my day to come fix them. That's the last thing I wanted to do.  Thinking back it made me very nervous how she said he has anger issues.... if you get my drift. I will never get my nails done in this shit hole again. I have much better places to go anyway. You suck.   The previous time I was there I had black and the next day it chipped. I went two weeks with an ugly nail. I went here for the color I got 3 times ago bubble bath witch lasted. I've been getting shallac for years.  I don't lie about getting my nails painted. Always great service! I usually go to Trish, however I've dropped in a couple of times and had other nail techs. I've never had a bad experience here. I love the selection of nail polish colors and services. They are very fairly priced and don't throw in any extra charges. The chairs for pedis are so comfortable and clean. The chairs for manis are also clean and comfy. I love that they always give you a mini water bottle when you sit down for whatever service you select. Definitely recommend! Read Less

My nail tech was very rude. He asked me if I wanted a gel manicure and I told him that I preferred a regular manicure. He said under his breath "okay but it will chip in a few days". He barely put in any effort, and rushed me along. I guess he got his wish, because my manicure ended up chipping the next day. I have never had this happen before and am so upset. I've had several people do my nails and my daughter's as well and we've never been disappointed. I have been coming here for 2 years and I only had a problem one time. The management and owners are outstanding. They had me come back and they fixed the problem. They were professional and genuinely care about their customers and their business. I will continue doing my business with them even tho I moved and it’s 25 min out of my way. I went in this afternoon to get a little extra something for a special occasion I have on Sunday and I've been to this location before and they really deliver at this time. I got dip ombre nails with tips and it came out absolutely gorgeous it's a little pricey but definitely worth it and I also got a spa pedicure. But as always a facilities are very clean the service is quick and wonderful everyone's very nice that use disposable liners for pedicures and I'm incredibly happy that the technician took her time to make sure my nails were perfect. I'll definitely be coming back again and I highly recommend you try the dip nails if your into nail enhancements but don't like the weight and feel of an acrylic. Read Less

Services are great. They just take way too long. Had an appointment and still waited 15 mins to be seated. Then they continuously kept switching people to do different things on my nails. I chose acrylic nails, and one lady applied then, a guy came over and shaped, then another lady came to paint. And just walked away when she messed up. Very unprofessional. Exactly what we needed and wanted! We celebrated my step-daughters birthday here today and it was excellent! I made an appointment for 4 pedicures and although they were extremely busy they still got us in on time. The pedicures were lovely with an excellent massage and exfoliating scrub. I just moved to VA Beach not too long ago and have been looking for a great salon to go to and someone that I can trust to give my nails the perfect shape. I have always seen girls and their nails would be so perfect and precise and it wasn't until I heard about Mike through the Yelp reviews on here that I got to experience that feeling. I went in originally wanting a whole new full set because the salon I previously went to had done such a terrible job on my shape, but Mike was able to fix it by giving me a fill in and redoing my shape. I had a pleasant visit to this salon last Saturday morning. I didn't make an appointment - just went in on a whim. Even though the place looked full they were able to accommodate me with a pedicure within 5-10 minutes. Lauren was my girl... she did exactly what the brochure stated a "Signature Spa Pedicure" was for that exact price. (I say this because some salons charge a crazy amount when you thought the pricing was X amount. This was important to me) The girls made me laugh while I had my pedicure. Lauren even accommodated my bum toe (no toe nail LOL) without commenting on how gnarly it looks. I had a brow wax also... a different aesthetician. First time Customer review here:  I had a hard time deciding between this place and one of the road based off of reviews. I saw the glow in the dark acrylic and that was intriguing. What tipped the scale for me though was all of the great reviews on Ginas work along with pictures for proof. I called up and asked if they would be able to squeeze me in and she said yes and then I specified with Gina, she said yes in about 20 minutes. I went across the street to the gas station ended up spending a little bit longer there than I thought or planned and they actually called my cell phone and said we are ready for you. How awesome is that!? I went in with an idea of what I wanted I wanted the pink ombre or French fade is what some people call it and a specific shape that I like. I am not happy when a nail artist does the shape they want. Many times I've left a salon my nails were too round looked too fat or too wide look like spoons or shovels on the end of my finger. But not here! Gina did an amazing job. I had many photos for reference almost too many probably haha. She nailed it! ( see what I did there? )The price is about normal with what I normally pay maybe about 8 to $10 more. Definitely worth it!  She  stopped at different intervals and asked is this good,? is this what you want do you like this? Etc.I am happy. Had a Rose Champagne pedicure. They did a wonderful job. The salon was quite busy. I didn't have an appointment, but was seated quickly and someone was doing my nails within 15 minutes. They took their time and paid a lot of attention to detail. The salon is nicely decorated and everything is very clean. The bathroom was nice. Staff was very friendly and customer service oriented. If I could leave zero stars, then I would. We called to make an appointment for 2 pedicures AN HOUR ago. FOR THE SECOND WEEK IN A ROW. We rearranged our entire day so we could be at the salon at 3:15 for our appointment, and when we got there the girl said "oh, I tried to call you to tell you that we have a party of 6 today and can't do your pedicures." We never received a phone call. Absolutely ridiculous. I would not recommend trying to make an appointment there. Don't even bother wasting your time. I've been going to Anthony Vince' Nail Spa for a couple months now. The atmosphere is classy and relaxing. Their staff is friendly and accommodating... AND they do an exceptional job with gel, acrylic, and pedicures. Gina is incredibly talented and I have yet to break a nail since coming to Anthony Vince (which is a lot for someone like me). The first time I came to this salon was right before they closed on a Friday- they stayed open just for me and didn't rush at all through my pedi or full set acrylic with gel on top. I was leaving for Central America first thing the next morning and after surfing for a whole week/getting beat up in the waves/climbing rocks/and doing all kinds things... my nails were still perfect. So we're sitting on the chairs after we've picked our colors out and my cousin had the Polish in the seat next to her... the man walks up to her picks the color up and places it on the table so he could see it im guessing!
