Nice place, but very rushed. She seemed irritated and had something better to do than my nails. I may have stayed for a pedicure of it was more pleasant. Prices also went up, compared to their website. $17 for a manicure is not worth it. She and a guy said it was their boss. I really don't care who it was, update your website. Terrible customer service! Wish I could rate zero stars. They do not deserve my business. I called to ask them why they call themselves “organic” because me and a friend were looking for a new salon and would like to know a little about their location and why they advertise organic, do they use all organic products and is there less formaldehyde and fumes at this salon? Two different employees got on the phone, and not only didn’t know the answer but were completely bothered to have to answer a seemingly simple question and said “just make an appointment” and “We don’t have time to answer any questions” then proceeded to hang up the phone! Wow. They can say they do not know the answer, and have someone call me back. That would have been fine. Went here on a Friday morning for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Called 15 min before they opened to check their availability, they said no problem come right in. It is clean & modern with a large nail color selection both regular & gel. Both the pedicure & manicure process were nice - they even did a hot stone massage on my shoulders while my gel manicure was drying! However, I am giving them 3 stars because one of my gel nails chipped the next day (I've gotten gel manicures for years and have never had my nails chip one day in) and one of my gels is already cracking along the cuticle (3 days later). From the star ratings I saw on here,  I thought it would match the service I was expecting to be.  I called and made an appointment for me and my friend, Venus (the owner)  assured me that 2 technicians would be assigned me to and my friend so we can get both dipping nails and a regular pedicure.  Since it was our first time there, Venus offered a discount and stated that she will be also at the nail salon the same day we made our appt for.  We get to the nail salon and the first thing she asks me if we had an appointment and I said yes.  She looked confused, which made me think that maybe we weren't in the appointment book.  We waited a bit then we both were seated at the stations.  Then I proceeded to ask if Venus was here and they said no, she was off until the following week.  I proceeded to say well she made the appt and offered us a discount.We get 2 technicians (one was a different one that Venus said was going to do our nails) and they proceeded to do our dipping powder nails.  This took almost 2 hours to complete which I do not know why it took so long to do both of our nails at the same time.  There was a large party that walked in that had 7 pedicures and I guess that seemed more important to them since they advised us that they didn't have time to do our pedicures.  I am not sure if it had something to do with the discount I had mentioned earlier and/or the 7 people coming in for a pedicure.  What is the point of making an appt if they cannot even honor it and send you on your way.  They asked if we could come back later...why would we waste time and coming back when again we made appts!  It should have been blocked off for the appropriate amount of time!I am all about customer service and being fair and I didn't appreciate how this was handled.  I also waited to write this review since I personally wanted to speak to Venus to share my experience but when I called, they said she was with a client and I left my name and phone number, it has now been 4 days and no return call.I can't tell anyone what to do, but I will not be returning. Appointments don't matter because they will do your manicure and tell you while you are in the shop that they don't have time for a pedicure. Very poorly managed. Will not be back.And now Venus with your response - instead of just apologizing for the experience I had - you make an accusation that I was late when instead I had to sit and WAIT for your OVERBOOKED technician to finally see me - that is unacceptable.  It is not my problem that your business overbooks appointments, maybe you need to take a look at your business practice instead of making excuses.  But don't worry you have lost a good customer because I wont be back again. Always super clean and they consistently do a great job. They even line the pedicure bowls with disposable liners! There's also a great selection of upscale nail polish, and the ambience is lovely. Nice place, nice staff, way overpriced for mediocre results, a point system that always promises $5 towards your next visit that is never applied, and conveniently hidden prices (no list on the wall, pamphlets of services hidden away). There is always an issue with my results that it isn't worth paying so much to go here. Get yourself a $30 gel manicure that lasts a full two weeks somewhere else, not here where you'll be paying a ton more for a gel mani that won't last a week, believe me, I've tried multiple times, each time within a week, nails peeling. Other flaws in gel pedis too that make you start questioning the $60 charged. Save yourself the money and try another place, or try here and be overcharged no matter what. Read Less

I attempted to go here for a service they offer and advertise on their website. Since it came with high reviews I decided to try them out for the first time--being local I was really excited and literally jogged to the salon. When I arrived the guy at the front seemed less than interested in helping me. Then when he asked me what I wanted, I said a "gel full set" and he seemed extremely confused at what I was asking. They didn't really try to offer me a physical menu or try to provide me a service. I left disappointed and I didn't even get my nails done. I'm not sure why they were confused about a service many other salons offer, and again they advertise (see photo). Long is the best!! I'm very fussy about how my nails are done. He listens and does a great job. We also have a lot of laughs. Time flies when your having fun! The salon itself is modern and comfortable. The nails polish is the best in the market and all organic including gel nail polish. Read Less

Really nice staff but quality of work is average. I had a set of liquid gel nails done with gel polish... they did a great job on the nails besides the one with a design (this is probably just not their specialty). It was also pretty costly- my total was over $70 (not including tip). I would go again but probably not get designs from here. Read Less

We really enjoyed our experience at this salon. You need to make a reservation, we went on a Friday during the day and it was crowded. I felt better about all of the polish being 3-10 free and that's really important to me and my family. Only reason I gave it a four  is I asked for a specific item on the menu and I got the normal Mani/pedi combo, rather than what I wanted. Ultimately it is fine because it was nice experience. I have been a client of this salon for almost 4 years now. I have to say, it is shocking to see any negative reviews, particularly the one for Alex. Alex is one of the best nail techs I have ever worked with. She takes special care to ensure that my nails are perfectly manicured and healthy. After 4 years of gel manicures, my nails have never been healthier. Alex and Tina make getting my nails done seem like a get together with friends. Venus, the owner, runs an A+ shop. After reading all the reviews about this place I had high hopes as well as some other yelpers ... having the day off on a random Tuesday I decided to venture here on a rainy afternoon. I was greeted upon entry and asked what I was looking for, I said I wanted a pedicure and was asked to pick a color.  Looking around the salon there were many different racks of colors wasn't sure which were gel vs normal polish but ended up only stayed on one color rack...The salon overall is nice, the staff is quiet . The pedicure station is very clean and they use a plastic bag to cover the foot bath area.  Water was steaming hot which was a little bothersome... when pushing the cuticle down hurt on almost all of my toes..... overall the scrub was short, massage was short , and I'll probably not return here.... rain lily down the street does a much better job ~ I highly recommend them over this place . Vivian was amazing! I told her ahead of time what happened to me the last place I went to. And that I was a little nervous to get my acrylic fill. She said not to worry she would be gentle. And she was!!!! She took her time, didn't cut me once! The nail polish job looked amazing. Lovely nail salon in the Vienna area. I've gone twice, once with just dropping in and another by setting an appointment for my birthday. Both times I went and had the same employee, Lee, do my manicure and pedicure and she is amazing. She does a consistently exceptional job and does it with great precision and care. She is worth the time and money. Each time I've gone, my manicures and pedicures have lasted and I have had no complaints either. The salon itself is quiet, beautiful and clean. I really had high hopes for this place due to its raving reviews.Early afternoon, I called to check their availability for a gel powder refill and ombre manicure- the gentleman that answered was pleasant and gladly scheduled me despite my last minute call. Later that evening upon my arrival, I spoke to the same gentleman that took my reservation stating that I wanted someone that knows what they're doing because these are my birthday nails (lol) and he assured me all the technicians are skilled at ombre manicures. Great! A sweet lady technician took me and refilled my nails seamlessly. She worked quickly yet meticulously on the shaping part, which I very much appreciated. Though, a few times she was a bit careless with the drill which hurt, but it happens. I then showed her the picture of the faded gradient/ ombre, she nodded her head and said yes she will do that. Once she began polishing my nails, it looked more like a regular french manicure. I kept saying I wanted it just like the picture and she kept nodding and saying "Yes, yes". At the end of the day, she gave me a french manicure lol. Not a horrible one, but it was definitely not what I asked for. I'm not the type to give a hard time especially if I was assured multiple times and a person constantly nods when I ask if she's doing what I showed her. So I'm unsure if she just didn't understand, was tired because it was the end of the day, or if she couldn't see that well, but I definitely didn't receive the service I expected-- I was thoroughly disappointed.If you decide to schedule me in, no matter what time, the service should always be great, especially since I'm paying for a specific service.Perhaps if I return I'll schedule earlier and with a different technician. Review #400 : I was unimpressed with this place other than the polish colors available. We actually were three people on a Saturday. We made the appointment days in advance. We still waited a good amount of time before we were taken for our pedicures. My friends manicurist and pedicurist (same person) was super smug and rude. She was literally getting annoyed with us because when we would laugh, my friends foot or hand would move a little and she would rudely tell her to stop moving and like readjust her hand and foot without any TLC. I really wish I could remember her name. She was not too young or too old. I tried to make some jokes to lighten the mood because she was clearly in a bad mood (the worker, not my friend) but she barely made eye contact with me. My other friend only had a manicure but she loved her manicurist so it's clearly not the whole store. It is a clean facility but staff etiquette and customer service need a do over for some employees. Plenty of parking and it's in the suburbs super close to lots of restaurants! I do not plan on returning. I gave them two stars instead of one because I loved the green polish and my pedicure lasted a long time. The manicure was horrible for both my friend and I (the friend who had the rude manicurist). Our nails were ruined by the end of the night but my pedicure rocked. Read Less

TL;DR: Great customer service, meticulous, and clean. A little pricier than regular pedi ($32) but would rather pay more than have infected toes. This is my wife's experience:Upon walking into the store, I was greeted by Lynn immediately. I came here for a pedicure. They have many selections of colour and brands and as other yelpers noted, they use brands like Soya, Butter and Deborah Lippmann. I was also offered a drink as I was settling in.They use new tools for every guests! I was impressed since the bigger ones in the area don't even do that anymore. Lynn was detail oriented and made sure she understood the length and shape I wanted. Since I came in the middle of the week in the middle of the day, there were not that many customers and Lynn let me stay in my chair and enjoy another massage while waiting for my nails to dry.I felt very relaxed at this place as a spa should be.
