Gift voucher....more like Take voucher. I was given a gift voucher from my friend Bethy. There was no date on the voucher of when it was purchased or when it expired. Bethy was a regular customer at Lavish Nails. She cleaned houses , child minded and worked as a volunteer in the Red Cross shop across the road. When she gave me the voucher she was in a lot of unexplained pain but still kept on working. She died a few weeks later riddled with cancer. The voucher was the cost of one whole day of scrubbing and cleaning. It makes me very very sad and angry that the salon would not honour the voucher. Bethy could have spent that day resting . The old lady messed up my eyebrows and her and the gentlemen tried to justify her reason for doing so! If that was the case then where ever I’ve gone previously would’ve presented the same issue! She was also rude and if I didn’t respect my elders she would’ve gotten smacked for putting her finger in my face numerous times! I’m upset that I chose them as a last minute option but never again! I see my review was removed. Thats ok. I have taken my business to the nail bar across the road in the junction fair. It's cheaper and they do as I ask. 2 other customers i know have done so too. You are all lovely esp the owners, and its a nice place, cant complain about that and Im sure you have alot of satisfied customers but I dont pay money to come back every 2 weeks. Read Less

I was pretty unimpressed that they wouldn’t honour my gift voucher. It had expired (totally my fault) but when I called prior to arriving they said they would still allow me to use it. Absolutely bloody rip off for the quality provided. $25 for a fingernail shellac removal and one coat of clear nail polish. They use cheap shellac polish - no CND or OPI brand available (the cheaper ones are much harder to remove and therefore way more damaging to the nail). To remove the shellac they had me soak my fingers in a bowl of acetone, rather than squeeze acetone on each nail and wrap in foil (this is just lazy and not healthy to be sticking all your fingers in a bowl of acetone). Had shellac removed off my toes as well. The method they use is to peel it off rather than soak in acetone. She almost ripped one of my toe nails off - it hurt. Really lousy reapplication of shellac ($35) - not neat at all. Will never be back. Read Less

Had my first visit to Lavish yesterday. Normally I would go to one of the nail bars at Westfield as it's closer to where I live but I'll now go further to the junction as I found all the ladies very friendly and was impressed they knew almost everyone who walked through the doors name. I also liked that they had a broader range of shellac colours that I normally have difficulty finding. Read Less

I have been a customer at Regal Nail in Suffolk since it opened 13 years ago.  They do an outstanding job removing the callous from my feet.   Joe is like a foot doctor when he works on engrown toenails. The customer service is outstanding and the atmosphere is pleasant.   If you are ever in the Harbour view Walmart check them out. Read Less

Im getting a pedicure done and this older lady with gray strands in her head is not very friendly. Instead of her telling me what she wants me to do or moving my feet she just looked at me and kept waving her hands. The greenbrier Sams Circle location is nothing like this. This is the only place I go for a decent brow wax and pedicure. I rarely have an issue with their service and the rare time I do, they take immediate corrective measures to ensure I am satisfied before leaving. Definitely my go to place and I highly recommend them. Read Less

I'm giving them two stars because of the unsanitary conditions in the salon. I went in for a manicure and pedicure, but was only able to make it through a pedicure after watching their cleaning/sanitation practices after a few customers. They don't use any cleaning solutions to clean the pedicure tubs after each use, they only wipe it down with the wet and dirty towel they place on the end cushion for customers to put their feet on during the pedicure. They also didn't sanitize the microplanes (files used to get dead skin off your feet) or scrub sponges and reused them on the next customer.I will definitely not be going back and wish I would've read Cheri's review before I had gone in the first place. First of all, I made an appointment so myself and two girlfriends could ALL get our nails done at the same time. Not only was the salon practically full when we got there, we had to wait 35 minutes for ONE of us to get started, then another 15 minutes later for the second and at the 60 minute mark I decided not to bother. This is not the first time they have done this. Not to mention my friends nails were painted navy NOT black, both girls nails have been shaped terribly and are all un even. My shellac has also peeled the last two times I've been there. I have given this salon more chances than they deserve - I am done. 100% will not be going back. Read Less

I spent $70 in this store to get a feeling my eyebrows done in my toes done I have never spent that much in the nail salon then on top of that two days later one of my nails break while I'm out of town and the lady was like if I don't come in today I'm going to have to pay for it so I went and got it fixed when I got back in town and two days later another one of my nails breaks I will never go here again and I advise anybody looking for their nails to get done go somewhere else Read Less

I have them a 3 not because of the quality of their work because they do very nice work, but because of sanitary conditions. The file he used on my hands was old, and definitely dirty, they spray their tools right before they use them, which to me is still unsanitary. I saw their tubs for pedicures, ewe. They were filthy! I won't be going back. I can clean and sanitize my hands, but you get fungus is your toes? That is harder to get rid of. Good luck if you go there. Read Less

I have been coming to this nail salon for years now!!!!!!! I'm excited that I'm the first to write a review for it. I routinely get the following services: pedicure, shellac (to include dry manicure) and traditional manicure. The nail tech that I go is Joe. He is my favorite. There are a total of three other nail techs inside of this nail salon. I can't speak on the specifics of the other nail techs, but as a whole they are all friendly, courteous and professional. Now I have been gettting nail services for almost 20 years now, so I know about excellent work. I've been pricked, nicked, nipped, burned, and scraped to the white meat previously, but NONE of these things have happened since I've been coming to this salon. Joe does excellent work, hands down in this area he is the best. Even if I'm in a pinch, I'm not going to anyone else. Not even to have my toes painted. I LOVE JOE!!! He is VERY nice and quite professional. If you are one that tends to like a quiet experience, he won't talk your head off. Likewise, if you want to talk, he will keep you entertained. Joe does EXCELLENT work. I can call him and he will always make time to fit me in his appointment schedule. The prices are also good. As long as Joe is there, I'll be there! I have been going to Tony and Joe at Regal Nails for over a year now, and couldn't be happier.  My feet have never been better and healthier, and it is because they take their time to do an excellent job instead of rushing you through like an assembly line.  They do all the fancy designs that are just beautiful, but I just get a nice French pedicure and am delighted at how perfect it is.  They do waxing and probably other things, but I have only had the waxing and it is fine.  I have ingrown toenails all the time, and Tony fixes it and is so gentle and stays good for several visits.  I looked a long time to find someone who could take care of my feet effectively, and I am so happy I found Tony and Joe.  I won't go anywhere else.
