Paid $45 for pedicure for my mom. Lady told my mom her nails were dry and handed my mom her closed toed shoes to put on. On way to car I asked my mom to see her feet. Nail polish on both big toes were smeared off. We went back in to have it fixed. Same thing happened, so we went back in a second time. Fixed it again. This time they left her feet under dryer longer. Different lady came by and rubbed her finger on my mom's big toe nails and very rudely said " it's dry" and handed my mom her shoes to put on. Returned home to find one toe nail jacked up. I called to speak to manager about it. She stated she will not give a refund ( didn't ask for one) because it's my mom's fault because she put on her shoes ( after she was told nails are dry). All I wanted was for her pedicure to be fixed properly. Not one worker in there mentioned anything about the flip flops they give for customers to wear. Two times they told my mom her nails were dry and handed her her shoes to put on. I wish they realized how dumb they sounded. Thank goodness for the many other nail spas around. Not honest about prices. Charged me $10 more than they said my service cost. Were not friendly. My polish color was completely different on my nails than the gel sample and they did not offer to fix it, they gave some explanation about magnetic particles that made no sense. I had hear great things about this please but I am so disappointed. And I spent $70 with tip. I feel like I wasted my money and I am unhappy with the color. Very disappointed. Read Less

Disappointed with the owner who bosses his staff around and made me wait after I requested a technician, he allowed 2 pedicures ahead of me. I only waited because I felt sorry for technician and she does my nails well. I have gone to the shop a few times. Morgan did my nails as recommended by a friend and she did great each time. The last time I went was for my 21st birthday. I got a gel set. This time I went the owner did them. At first he was really pleasant and we kept a good conversation. As he was doing the nails I noticed that he was doing them differently than Morgan had done. I mentioned that and he said oh this is a better way to get it done so it's OK. So I just continued to let him do what he was doing. Also during conversation he was adamantly letting me know that he had been in business for 27 years he mentioned different salons he had owned and that he took pride in customer service.. yeah right. I'm not sure where his 27 years of experience was actually in because it's not nails. When I left I noticed how uneven they were. I didn't have time to go back because as I said earlier it was my 21st birthday and I had made plans. I got them done on a Saturday and they're closed on Sundays so I had to wait until Monday. I came back as soon as I could Monday after my classes. When I walked in he greeted me with a smile and said hey I said hey and mentioned everything that was wrong with my nails (the unevenness, The bad paint) he proceeded to tell me that I should've noticed that before I left and that because they're not THAT uneven all he would do is paint them again. Mind you he told me the paint that I chose wasn't good but he was only going to repaint it with that and if I wanted better paint I had to pay an extra $20 (on top of the $33 I already paid). His whole demeanor changed from being kind to a complete a hole. At that point I was done arguing and just said I would like my money back because I see no signs that say no refunds therefore I would like my money back. He then proceeded to tell me that he would not give me my money back because "the nails are not that bad and I should've chose better paint". So with this experience I really do not recommend anyone go to this nail salon because the customer service is absolute trash and theyll be sure to make you feel horrible and not like a valued customer. Which is also contradictory since their business card says "our reputation is on your hands". Hope this is a good enough statement to suede ANYONE from getting services done here. ALSO, I had a friend with me who got her eyebrows done. They were done unevenly and the lady left a lot of straggly hair - like she completely missed a few sections. The lady did them again while we were there (cause I was getting my nails done by the a hole) but they were still noticeably uneven. I don't ever write these things because I have not that kind of person but I had a very bad experience today I spent $45 to get a full set of gel nails and a gel polish overlay and it was horrible they look bumpy and crooked it was the worst job I had ever seen the owner said that he would give me a whole new set and review my nails all he did was take off the Polish file a little bit of what the other person did and repaint them he told me he was going to give me a discount on my service and did not worst experience I have ever had Read Less

I normally don't write reviews but i had a horrible experience... I checked in to get a mani, pedi, and eyebrow wax after 20 minutes of sitting waiting to get my eyebrows wax AFTER my mani, and pedi was done: the man says he didn't have time, and I couldn't understand what my the other lady that serviced me said..... Was very surprised that the salon appeared so rundown in such a new shopping strip. Chairs looked like they were brought in used. The guy that did my mani-pedi, by no means put any effort into it. The polish appears to be thinned out, because with two coats on my nails, I can see through the tips. I thought it would be convenient to hit Hair Cuttery and then Nauti Nails, but I'll go out of my way to go to the nail salon at Centerbrook from now on. Read Less

I'm new to Suffolk... but not new to getting my nails done. This place was horrible!!! Short staffed (only 2 people were working) and incompetent work that was performed. I had gel applied over my nails. I wanted to have my gel nails removed and just wanted a manicure with clear polish applied~~ easy day... right?? Heck no!!! The guy who worked on me tried to chat with me and I told him what I wanted. He used his drill to go over my nails. Now, I know that after this procedure, that my nails needed to have acetone applied to remove the remain traces of the gel on the nails-- this person did NOT do this. He did the quickest and most inept manicure I have EVER had. Not all of the gel was removed... and he proceeded to polish my nails with the pieces of gel still on my nail. I was incredulous- and said "there is still gel on my nails"... he looked lost. There were many women waiting and I think he was rushing to seat the other women waiting. I just said... whatever,,, just finish it. So, he went ahead and placed the clear polish over my nails (with still had obvious pieces of the gel showing). He only placed ONE coat of the nail polish on my nails and went off to start a pedicure on another client.  I look at my nails and see this large bump (gel) on one nail and I peel if off. The only other worker (a female) comes over and says that she needs to collect the money for having my nails done. I told her that there was gel still on my nails. She asks the guy (who I think was the owner or manage) what she needed to do next... she asks me "did you tell him you wanted the gel nails removed before he put on the polish. I was too through after this... what kinda salon is this? I did not make a scene... because I knew I could warn others from going to this joke of a nail salon. If you want expert nail services, please DO NOT GO to this place. I paid these crooks $12.00 of my hard earned cash... and I do not want anyone else to suffer going to this HORRIBLE place. Great experience here. I have only been once, but will definitely be going back. A younger guy (not sure of his name) did my gel manicure and I would definitely ask for him again. He seemed to actually care if I liked his work and was a pleasure to chat with. The only down side I would say is that the shop was a little disheveled (not dirty), maybe because I went in later in the afternoon though. I will update my review after my next experience! The owner doesn't know how to apply acrylic neatly. Lays it on too thick. He skips steps when filing and shaping. I came in with almond shaped nails. Two were broken. Those two nails he repaired don't look anything like my other nails. Instead of fixing his mistake, he said my fingers were crooked. There was only one scrub brush per sink. Unsanitary. I paid for his work he had done but I left before he could paint my nails. I went to another nail salon to correct his mistakes.  Which means more money spent. Read Less

The lady did my nails & feet horribly. I went there to get my nails & feet done for prom. They had just opened when I arrived and the wife had told me she was going to be doing my nails. We shared a few brief convos she told me that they (her & her husband) had owned a few salons in the area, so I was quite impressed. When she started to do my nails I felt like she put too much acrylic on them & didn't file them down enough. They were really bulky & didn't look natural. She told me she had been doing nails for 20+ years & it surely didn't look like it. Then when she applied the paint (this should've been the easy part) paint was all over my skin, some paint was a different shade than the other because of the extra coats. I would advise going somewhere else. The only reason I considered going here was because of the reviews but, I guess to each its own. I really hated my nails. My feet were okay but not spectacular. The prices at this place are good, but it should be for the quality of their work. The people are really nice and maybe the lady that did my nails & feet really wasn't experienced with her 20+ years of experience after all. However if you do decide to go, I would advise not getting the wife to do watever you need done! Read Less

Just moved to the area from California. Stopped in here on a whim to have a full set done, I was instantly greeted by a super nice man, named Steven. Steven ended up being the one who did my full set, he was very personable, and listened to how I wanted my nails done. He seemed to actually care about me as a customer and individual. I didn't feel uneasy, or rushed, which is how it is in California...the nail salons out there just see you as money. I did not feel that way here. However, being from Cali, I found it a tad expensive though. I'm use to paying $35 for a full set, here it was $50, but maybe that's what it costs here in Virginia, I don't know. Steven did a really great job. The shop was clean, and I truly enjoyed my experience. I will definitely be back. Went here with my five year old daughter a couple weeks ago and I had an excellent experience! Very friendly staff, clean and inviting environment and everything they use smells like pineapple, lol. (Handsoap, lotions, and post waxing treatment etc etc.) Waxing is done in a relaxing private room. I had my eyebrows done and the woman did a beautiful job. My uv gel nails came out glossy and perfect. My daughter had her nails painted with designs, the nail tech was super attentive and friendly and did a great job! My daughter was beaming after her "Frozen" themed mani :) Prices are very reasonable! Only negative thing I can say is that they charge you an extra $3 to clip your nails when you go in for a fill. Every other nail salon I've ever been to includes that as typical maintenance with a fill in visit. Overall it's five star service! Appealing atmosphere, excellent service, affordable prices. First time at this new shop and I was impressed. They are personable and friendly and really take the time to do a good job for the client. The owners were there and made a point to speak with me and make sure I was comfortable and happy. I only came for a pedicure but ended up getting my nails done as well because of how wonderful the pedi service was. They did a nice job and went the extra mile to make the experience pleasant and relaxing. Absolutely recommend. Read Less
