Best nail shop hands down. The atmosphere really gives off that feeling of zen. My nail tech is JT whom I have been going to for years. He never disappoints. Plus he accommodates me when I don’t have an appointment already scheduled. He is fast but gives quality work. I will be a forever loyal client to this guy. Worst experience. I asked for a pedicure, eyebrow wax and a fill in . The pedicure was fine . Once it was over though I was told I had to wait 10 which was fine but 10 min turned into 30 min and I had already been there for an hour and a half ! I get to the front and had to ask if anyone was going to do my nails only to be stared at and given no response . They were quick to take my money to pay for the pedicure though . Plus , they never answer the phone ... I called 3 times and no answer . After the 4th time calling I got an answer and ended up getting in an ARGUMENT with one of the guys that works there. So I told him I was coming back up there and he hangs up on me . Needless to say I got there, we exchanged words in the shop and still didn’t receive a refund . To be in a customer service type business and not know how to talk to customers when they have a problem is sad . He made my experience awful. Mardi is the best and most knowledgeable manicurist I’ve ever been to. I don’t have the best nails but through her treatments and advice they have improved to where I don’t mind showing off my hands. A true professional and a treat for me when I visit her. Read Less

I have came here twice and service is always top notch. My first visit I received a pedicure. It was very relaxing and the results were great. I have been to salons for year's. I've had some good and bad experiences. I found this gem recently. I came in with my daughter and the gentleman that owns it is very articulate with a great sense of humor. He explained all the pricing and let me take a look around and him and his wife went through the details of how clean they are. Everything disinfected properly . As we continued to proceed they gave me a great full gel set and listened to what I wanted the whole way a Long with my daughter. They even offered us some drinks which is a nice hospitable touch. I highly recommend this establishment to any and everyone. They are new owner's and ran by family. You are guaranteed to laugh and feel at home with them. It speaks volumes . I've always done my own nails before I was recommended to go to nail time. I was told to go to JT and he was telling me what I should get to help my natural nail grow stronger and thicker and I was against getting acrylic but he was really gentle on my nails the whole time. the man who did my nails was very nice; however, he left cracks in the nail polish at the bottom of every nail, and even some spots were see-through all over the nail. I got a regular manicure and will not return for that again. Read Less

1st time at this nail salon. I called ahead at 1pm on a Saturday and they said I could have a Pedicure and manicure done at 2pm. I arrived on time and Nick was ready. The place was busy and clean. I opted to upgrade the pedicure which was so worth it. The entire service took about 11/2 hrs and I was happy with the service and result. I'll be back to see nick. Read Less

This place is awesome.  My mom kept recommending it to me cause she goes there.  One day she came by and I was like "your nails look amazing!" she finally had me convinced.  So we called and it was super easy to get an appointment (they take walk ins too).  They weren't busy and got us in immediately for gel manicure (me) and pedicure (mom).  They were efficient, clean, gracious, and didn't rush us along.  Li/Lee (uncertain of spelling) did my nails and they turned out gorgeous, I can't stop looking at them!  Love this place can't wait to go back. First time here, and I was so impressed. The salon was clean, the staff was friendly. I had a man named Johnny do my nails, and he was super gentle, and very much a perfectionist. I have tried many nail salons in the area, and hands down this was my best experience. I will most definitely be a returning customer. The place is awesome!  Wish I had tried here sooner. For those who know the are they eat Luxury Nail hands down!  I walked and didn't wait. I love the disposable liners for the pedicures. Mardi has done my nails since July 1996-20 years coming up soon! I have followed her to various locations around Auckland in that time. She is amazing and I would not go anywhere else-I just keep hoping she won't decide to stop doing nails because I would be lost without her. She is a lovely person and makes the time spent well worth it. Her standards of hygiene and care are extremely high and people often comment on how lovely my nails are. I don't always own up to having them done though! I have acrylic nails and have tried Shellac, but found the product was not suitable for me. I would recommend her Nail Studio to any one of any age- I am getting on in years and she has many long term clients who continue to enjoy her excellent service. Love this salon! The staff are very friendly and do a great job. One of the things I like best is that I've been here at least 15 times for spa pedicures and to get pink/white gel nails and have never been 'nicked'. You know what I mean-  you're relaxing and having a grand time zoning out while getting your nails done only to get jabbed, cut or sanded too roughly and having to sit there for the remainder of the time with that cut in your cuticle hurting and not trusting the tech because you're sure it will happen again...  Never happened to me here. The techs take their time and do a fantastic job.The salon seems to be very clean and they sanitize their tools/ have individual packets that get opened right in front of you like at the dentist.
