ABSOLUTELY the WORST nail shop i have ever been too! The lady argued and was rude to me the whole time i was there. threw nail stuff around and everything! I got nothing i wanted done and it was expensive. My nails were uneven and UGLY! Acrylic was thick and bulking she gave me the worst attitude when i asked her to fix it too. They do good work for a nail salon and not a spa.. They do good brows.. They actually have a certified tattoo artist for your brows. I have had a basic pedicure and it just that basic. I had my nails done for the first time there and they were done very nicely... If you want relaxation 😌 it's not the place... Oasis nail and spa is better for that.. The wait time was TERRIBLE today ( I suppose since the children were out again for a snow day) but what made it bad was everyone that peeked in were told 10-15 minutes. OBVIOUSLY not true. The male in this establishment was unbelievably RUDE and short with everyone especially the lady that had a 1pm appointment who was 5minutes late! This has hands down been the worst nail salon experience I've ever had in my life. I got my nails painted on Saturday. Everything was fine until Sunday evening I decided to move some outdoor cushions. I get inside and notice that my nail polish is completely smeared to the top of my cuticle. I go in and have it fixed today (Monday) and the owner says that it's not his fault. He tells me that nail polish doesn't last long. So basically I paid $15 to have my nails painted for them to smear 24 hours later? I noticed when I was originally picking out a color that all of the polishes were so watered down with acetone that they basically weren't nail polish anymore. I spent at least 10 minutes trying to find a decent polish/color that I ended up settling with. Today, I brought one of my own nail polishes that hadn't been watered down with all the chemicals so they could redo my nails and it actually stay on. However, they told me if I wanted to use my color I would have to pay again to have my nails painted. So I ended up getting that same color they originally painted my nails with and the nail tech literally wiped off the smudged parts and redid them. She did not even try to redo the whole nail. So now my nails are uneven. Had the owner just fixed it and didn't argue with me in front of all of the customers in the salon I would have been totally understanding. Will not go back there again ! I went there to get fill ins and to have two nails replaced and get my nails cut down a bit and she told me my nails were going to be $30. I asked her why were they going to be $30. She said because I was getting coffin shaped nails ( which is the nail shaped I already had. How can you charge me for a nail shape I already have ?! ) and because my nail length was too long ( this is after she cut my nails down and my nails weren't even long after she cut them down). Usually at any other nail salon I have been to, they don't charge for length ( unless they are really long ) or nail shape. So anyway, I told her I would just get them cut down a little shorter and get square shape so it would be cheaper. She proceeded to cut my nails down really short, and I hate them. Do not go there they will try to rip you off. I was left very unsatisfied. I wanted to try something new and go to a different nail salon, but no I will continue to go to Oasis nails like I usually do. They do great nails and won't charge extra for certain stuff like happy nails does. Read Less

Decided not to come to this salon when I saw their cover photo. They proudly exhibit their racism by displaying the confederate flag on their photos. If this is the face of your business and what you represent than I could never spend one cent in this establishment, and I would strongly urge any other African American potential or current clientele to disassociate themselves with this company. In fact, I would love to recommend Star nails off of Starmount parkway in Chesapeake. All of the nail techs there are super friendly, professional and definitely not racist! I have been coming here for 7 years with no complaints until the latest owners took over.  I got a new set and came back two weeks later for the first fill in. The male owner told me I needed to take them off and get a new set because I had them on too long. I asked him how long a set is supposed  to last. He told me 6 months so I told him no thanks I just want a fill in. He insisted I get a new set. I told him again no thanks that I just had the set put on 2 weeks ago and this was my first fill in and that if he really thought they were that bad he should do it for free since he was the one who applied them two weeks earlier.  Tried to rip me off for something I didn't need.  Will never go there again. So I went in around 5pm. There were three people ahead of me. I waited approx 45 minutes before it was my turn. I couldn't understand what the lady was telling me. And most of the time I can understand nail techs. I got a deluxe pedicure ($32) and a shellac manicure. The pedicure looks fine but the girl next to me was getting rubbed down and got more done to her and we both got the same pedicure. The manicure was the worst part. I asked for square nails and only 8 of my 10 nails turned out to be square shaped. Then my thumb nail was broken pretty far down and I had told her about it prior to getting my manicure thinking that she would put powder over it to prevent it from breaking more. She didn't and then I asked about it because I didn't think the base coat of the shellac would protect it. (My nailBroke with shellac polish on it.) She looked puzzled like she didn't understand what I was saying or just didn't want to do it. The male nail tech sitting next to her told me it was too late and that he would do it next time. Ummmm that doesn't help this time and she didn't put the actual shellac polish on it yet. So she fixed it, but didn't seem to be to happy to do so. It's my nails not yours and your in a customer service position you should be making sure what I want is carried out. So when she was finished with the light she gave me the quickest massage with the lotion. I only went to this place because of the reviews and it was close to my home, but this was my first and last experience there! Read Less

I am really happy with how my nails and eyelashes turned out here. In town for a wedding, I googled a nail salon close to the Hilton Garden Inn where I was staying and found this gem. I got a pedicure, manicure (shellac) and then spontaneously got my lashes done ($25! Wow!). I am posting pictures because you just see for yourself they did an amazing job! This is the 4th place I've been to for a pedicure in the area. I am by far sold this is the place to go. They always look busy and when I'm heading in to food lion I didn't want to wait. Today I had time to kill and even though they looked busy they could seat me right away. About an hour for the whole pedicure and fantastic. I only heard two of the six staff speak any English but oh my what a great job the lady did who did mine. The massage was more than expected. Soak, cut, nail file, pumice, oil, push cuticles, clean under nails, soak, file foot, scrub with massage, lotion with massage, hot towel, massage again, layers of paint with amazing detail! I will for sure be switching to here for my local spot. Read Less
