Lilly does such an awesome job! I was referred specifically to her to have my first SNS nails done by a best friend whose nails were always gorgeous. She told me to ONLY go ro Lilly because she does excellent work and goves you un-divided attention. She was so right. Lilly is serious about her job. This is by far the best salon I have ever visited. Vivian is spectacular, the time and effort she shows me is beyond compare that I have ever experienced. This was my second visit and I left extremely disappointed. Several things went wrong, I'll start with the amount of time I spent there. Our appointment was 11:30 and we got sat immediately for pedicures, pedicure went from 11:35-12:05, 30 minutes, then my daughter and I parted ways. I got an acrylic fill and get polish, she got a manicure and finished at 12:30... my fill started around 12:10 and I didn't get to leave until 1:50, nearly an hour and 45 minutes for a fill. Pedicure- wasn't bad although we didn't get the scrub like we did last time and my legs were barely massaged (that is my favorite part of the pedicure). Fill- took forever and I kept telling him my nails were crooked and he would "fix" it but never actually fixed it. Then he opened the gel and said it was empty so he asked if I wanted another color. I wanted my toes and nails to match, so no, i didn't want another color. The young lady at the front desk was super helpful picking out a different color and the gentleman that did my nails tried his best to help, I do understand that that isn't his fault. It would've been nice to know ahead of time though. Then when we did pick a color he was about to polish my nails without a base coat first. I've gotten my nails done enough times to know it goes-Base coat2 coats of gel Top coat So... basically sat for an extremely long time to leave disappointed. One thing that I care greatly about is customer service, so the reason they get 3 stars is because the young lady at the front desk was the sweetest thing ever and the gentleman that did my nails was very nice, just didn't do what I wanted on my nails. Worst job and too expensive! Look at my ring nail, thats not crackle-looks nasty. The woman also took my name and number, when I asked her if it was for discount purposes she said no. This review is for my mother. My poor poor mother.We went in yesterday at 6:15 or so and needed a pedicure, I finally had gotten my sister to babysit my 2 year old while my mom treated me to a pedi for my birthday! I was so excited and my sister had recommended this place so I figured they would be good.... Wrong.....The nail tech I had was OKAY, but she was at least friendly. Barely a massage, barely any effort at all really. For 35 bucks, you figure they would at least clean your toes properly.My mom on the other hand had the worst nail tech I've ever seen. She did the bare minimum, she didn't clean under the nails, didn't use the pumus stone very long. She didn't cut her nails down far enough even though we asked her nicely to cut them short. Her response was something along the lines of, oh no, too short. (Not at all btw... They were wayyyyy too long) she seemed rushed and annoyed at my mom the whole time. The spa itself is very well maintained and organized inside. The services are a hit or miss. This was my second time going in. I had a gel manicure and pedicure done. I was flying out for a trip the next day. Callus removal was not done properly as I still had dry patches on my heel. I asked for it to be corrected and I was convinced it was fine and to come back in two weeks. Hang the technician stated shell put lotion on and that was it. Then I left the salon and noticed the gel polish was not applied properly and was on my cuticles after which I returned to the salon to get a few nails corrected, even then it was hard for me to communicate an understanding to Hang of what needed to be corrected. Furthermore, I had several last minute things to do before my flight the next day and didnt get to them due to the running back and forth. I called in to speak to the manager Lily and she didnt know who Hang was. She was rude and was like what do you want to do complain? Im like no Id like to come in and get another layer of polish applied because you could see patches of my nail in some areas and the color was not consistent all around. My flight was at 12 the next day and they open at 10 am. So I couldnt do anything and wouldnt recommend this place due to the language barriers, lack of customer service, and increasing lengthy service time due to untrained technicians. Read Less

I'm pretty frustrated with the quality of service I have received from this nail salon. I have been going here for about three years and have put up with their steep prices because the service is pleasant and they are large enough to accommodate me most of the time I call or stop by. However, things have been getting worse and today was my last straw. I called ahead to get an appointment for a pedicure. When I showed up for my appointment, I was greeted by a pleasant girl and escorted back to a chair with water ready. After I sat down, nobody talked to me. Usually they offer to bring you water and fruit, but not today. I sat there with my feet soaking for thirty minutes. The water started to get cold and still nobody greeted me, told me it would be a few minutes, or even acknowledged I was sitting there. I have been going here for the past 5 years.  I even bring my 9 year old daughter on the regular. Time to find a new spa.They stopped the quality service of giving clients fruit and cookies which my daughter loved! They stopped the private room.  And now they stopped the good quality! When you pay the prices they charge here, you expect top service.  The past several times I have been less then pleased and I have no patience for bad service. First time, my nail polish was messed up and instead of redoing the toe, the tech simply painted over the mess and left it.  Second time, I made an appointment for first thing in the morning and was rushed through my appointment once business picked up.This last time, same scenario. I was rushed so much she put the paraffin on before the polish was dry and I realized that the polish was off my nails once I got home. I'm done paying these ridiculous prices just for a 5 minute shoulder massage.  I can go elsewhere with my daughter and referrals and get less expensive "spa" pedicures with friendlier service and better quality. I've been here several times and saw different individuals each time. The salon itself is very clean. They give you soft drinks, hot teas, or coffees etc while you get your service there. I don't know if there are any alcoholic beverage. Pedicure chairs have that plastic bag in the bowl to replace after each use. 1) Helen: was great! She provided great customer service. She was very quick but VERY GOOD! She polished my nails very clean and the exact shape I wanted. 2) the owner: she was okay... she left my nails wrap with the alcohol cotton to remove my gel too long and it started to get hurt. Once I was done with her and got back home, her polishing was sloppy. I didn't see it in the salon but I could see it clearly at home. Then my nail broke off in 3 days while I was on vacation. Such disappointment. 3) Lucky for pedicure: he was great! So gentle and made sure he took time to cut and polish my toe nails. Talkative and understanding. Then Cindy for manicure: she was RUDE! She didn't say much but commanded you with her hand movement. Her polishing is sloppy too. Overall, when I go back... I will be going to Helen or Lucky! Not anyone else... This is by far the best nail salon I've ever been to! The service is amazing from the moment you walk into the door. This is the first nail salon that has offered me a drink while I wait and while I'm being taken care of. All the nail technicians are well trained and do a great job. It sounds to me like the young lady with the "bad experience" paid for a polish change but expected way more. I've never known my cuticles to be cared for unless I was getting a full min ire and not just a polish change (as she stated she came in for). The technician she worked with has been doing my nails for 15 years. I have followed him EVERYWHERE he's ever worked. I am so glad that Caule is back in Springfield! Beautiful salon, great staff (especially Caule). Always does a phenomenal job. Always quality work. I am sorry the lady and her daughter weren't satisfied with the services. I don't know who the daughter was with but I feel like if they had addressed their concerns at the time instead of expressing her dissatisfaction online she would have been taken care of. From the outside, this place looks like any other shopping center nail salon, but you'll be pleasantly surprised at how nice it is! Today was my first time ever coming to Serenity and this place was by far the best I've ever been to. I'd always heard great things about this business and had to see for myself, now I see why. I was very impressed with the service from start to finish. Lorna was my technician and she took really great care of me. I really loved how she took her time and the way she was meticulous with my nails. This isn't your average nail salon and the service I received was well worth the cost. I visited for the first time today. As soon as I walked in I wondered why it had taken me so long! The salon is very clean. Seriously the best nail salon in the area. The staff are always friendly, the salon is clean, and the prices are fair. I normally get a gel manicure and regular pedicure for $70. Drinks and fruit are complementary no matter what type of nail service you get. Also, every staff member there knows how to wax eyebrows.
