Very busy, but I don't know why. The owner (I'll assume) is cordial and friendly. The shop itself, is rather dirty and the closer I looked as I sat there in silence with my nail tech, the worse it got. it took an hour and a half to do a full set of pink and white nails. I've never had it take longer than an hour ANYWHERE else. The length of time would be fine if it were an amazing job, but its full of flaws and bumps. The white tips were also painted on and not the gel kind, that i asked for. Had the tech spoke more than 2 word of english he might have understood, but I had told the owner what i wanted, who then told the tech and by the time I realized he was doing it all wrong, it was way too late to do anything about it. The equipment seemed outdated and was dirty (there was some sort of grime on the uv lights where you place your hands). I was kind of in a desperate situation and living in a new town and decided to suck it up buttercup and get my brows done while i was there. Back there was even WORSE. hair from the former person (or multiple, who knows?) on the towel they wanted me to lie MY head on (I folded it over myself), and dirty shelves. The bathroom was just gross and didnt look like it had ever been cleaned. I dont know what their sanitation score is (do they do that in virginia, i dont know?) i didnt see one posted. the only area that looked clean was the sink where you wash the dust off from your nails (oh yeh they dont have any kind of ventilation system to pull up most of the dust while they work- again something all the salons ive been to in the past had). The pedicure stalls were all full and there is no way in hell i would let them use any sort of utensil on my feet or trust the cleanliness of those foot baths (thank goodness im not a pedicure person anyways). needless to say, I'd rather have crappy looking nails and brows than go back there. Went in today and was underwhelmed. I got a normal mani and the guy missed spot, left uneven waves, there are dozens of bubbles in it. It looks like I did it myself :( plus, due to a communication barrier, I got confused by his gestures, almost ruined my mani trying to figure out what he wanted to do, then got abandoned at the hand dryers and just awkwardly sat there until my friend's gel coat was done and her girl told me what to do. LOVE this place! So far have been here twice and both times were wonderful! The staff is always friendly, the place is clean and doesn't have a super strong acetone smell, and the prices are unreal! I may never go to another nail place again. Read Less
