My friend goes here all the time and brought me along, we made an appointment days before. Upon arrival they were slammed... We weren't attended to until 30 minutes after our appointment..
I've been here once before for another friend's birthday and I was completely dissatisfied, my polish started chipping as soon as I arrived home and my nails were uneven...
I'm all about second chances so I went again, bad choice, they did not remove my gel polish the way it's supposed to with tin foil. Instead they had me rest both my hands in a super small bowl of what I'm assuming was nail polish remover. Finally someone came and started on my nails. She painted my nails super fast with the gel and didn't even clear the dead skin I so desperately needed removed around my cuticles... I've never been to a nail salon that doesn't do that, I even reminded her I needed I manicure and she just ignored me.... it was obvious they wanted me out of there asap.... I had her put one acrylic on my nail that had broken and was shorter than the others and she did a terrible job on that!! She just cut it with scissors and didnt even shape it to match my other nails.... she didnt file or even out my nails...
$21 for them to literally just paint my nails, something I could easily do at home!! I came for a manicure not to be rushed out with a half ass paint job...
Not to mention she was also extremely rude when I was cashing out and asked to leave a tip on my card because I came right after work and didnt have cash.
I will NEVER go here again to get my nails done, trashy and unprofessional...

First visit last week & I was truly impressed. I've been looking for a new place to go for pedis & manis & will definitely return! Everyone was very friendly & the salon was clean & well kept.

I get my nails done here and always feel like I am at home. The staff is super friendly and I love Amanda!! Brandi is an awesome business owner. I would recommend this place to friends and family...
I get my nails done here and always feel like I am at home. The staff is super friendly and I love Amanda!! Brandi is an awesome business owner. I would recommend this place to friends and family for nails and hair. IT is a professional clean atmosphere. :-)

I have been to Beauty Bar numerous times and have been please every time that I have been there. I am not sure where the issues are with those who have had bad experiences in the past, but I suggest that you give them another chance. Do it for yourself and those that you are revisiting.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for pedicures together recently and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff are very friendly and prompt, and the service is excellent. They even went out of their way to ensure that my polish dried properly, despite the fact that it was shortly after closing. We will certainly be back again 🙂

Modern. This is the place you go to when you want that design you saw on Facebook or Pinterest. They can do it all. They won't let you leave without your satisfaction.

As a cosmetologist I can promise you, you do NOT want to go here! I was so appalled at the standards of sanitation that I actually had the guy completely stop after only soaking, shaping the nail, and cutting the cuticle. The pushers and the nippers are NOT properly sanitized between clients and no fucks are given when it comes to the attention to detail and quality of the shaping. I will never ever be back and I encourage others to go elsewhere.

Overall "meh"...standard strip mall experience and I was in search of a true spa experience...would have preferred Polished by Claire V but they never have openings for walk-in's. - too expensive for the service/experience -very rushed- $10 extra for callus remover- acetone smell heavy - not relaxing...just your typical strip mall salon- arm/leg massage not long enough...less than 1 minute for each arm!!! - didn't put my flip flops on when done- didn't turn on fan to dry my nails at drying station- square is the default shape unless you request otherwise+ walk-in appointment easily available+ convenient location - can have your car detailed next door while you get your treatment!+ friendly staff+ good selection of polish and gossip mags + efficient...great if you are looking for a quick in/outTip: ask to be in the back room if you get a pedi...it's quieter, more private, has mood lighting and is a little less smelly. They make you move to do mani.

Came here for mani pedi with my daughter on a visit to Roanoke. One of the only nail salons I found open on Sunday. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, location across street from Tanglewood Mall. They do all types of nails and have spa pedi chairs. I did a gel manicure and thought it was good, although it would have been better if the girl had used a brush with acetone to clean stray marks, not just scraped them away with her nails. Still, job was fine and reasonably priced. Would go again.

I love the Beauty Bar. Super nice staff who stand behind their product. Their Gel Polish Manicures are my favorite service. They have a huge selection of colors and a great price. Their pedicures are also nice, but know that they are pretty quick and very basic unless you upgrade to a deluxe spa pedicure. They do accept walk ins but if you're trying to go right after work or on Saturday I highly recommend an appointment.

Trying to find a mid-priced salon in town, I went for a haircut, shampoo and style at Beauty Bar. The haircut was $20 and the shampoo and style was an extra $10. When I was walking in, a rather unkept woman was outside smoking and talking on her cell phone. I went inside and was asked rather loudly if I was there for a pedicure??? I should have left then... When I told the man I had a haircut appointment, he said he would go outside and get the lady. Again, I should have left. I was concerned about this woman's ability to do my hair, because her hair didn't look like it had been cut or colored in ages. She did not look like a professional stylist at all. We talked briefly about my hair. She got her scissors out of a pencil cup:( When she dried my hair, the round brush she used had other hair in it. There was hair all over the floor and all over the random stuff on the floor. Long story short, because it is a waste of time to write more - my hair ended up one inch longer on one side than the other. I had to go home and spend 30 minutes trimming it myself to get it so it didn't look as bad. DO NOT GO HERE!

My boyfriend and I stopped in for pedicures together recently and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff are very friendly and prompt, and the service is excellent. They even went out of their way to ensure that my polish dried properly, despite the fact that it was shortly after closing. We will certainly be back again 🙂

As a cosmetologist I can promise you, you do NOT want to go here! I was so appalled at the standards of sanitation that I actually had the guy completely stop after only soaking, shaping the nail, and cutting the cuticle. I love the Beauty Bar. Super nice staff who stand behind their product. Their Gel Polish Manicures are my favorite service. They have a huge selection of colors and a great price. Their pedicures are also nice, but know that they are pretty quick and very basic unless you upgrade to a deluxe spa pedicure. They do accept walk ins but if you're trying to go right after work or on Saturday I highly recommend an appointment.
