This is the worst experience ever!! It's only 3 ppl working in the entire shop. If you don't have an appointment you would need to clear your schedule for the day because the wait is unacceptable! Me and my sister came to get our nails done and waited almost 3 hours to be seen. We were never asked what we wanted or atleast greeted us for coming in. Went two days in a row and spent 2 hours in this salon each time and my nails still weren't done. The first day it was taking so long that I had to leave after my fill in without any polish. I decided to try again the next day to get my nails polished. After 2 hours of waiting I left and went done the street to another salon to get shellac polish and was done in 30 minutes. Needles to say I will never go to RVA nails again. The wait and customer service are the worst. I have a life and spending 2-3 hours in a nail salon is not part of it. Read Less

Came in for a mani pedi left with dead brain cells! SUPER HARSH chemical smell as soon as you walk into the room!! Only reason I came here was because I had a gift card! Never coming again! Called TWO HOURS before I came in, and they said they did not do appointments and only do walk-ins (I see a lot of comments saying to make an appointment.) I live an hour away from the salon. I came in and was told that it was a 30 minute wait, so I sat down and waited. It took an hour and they were calling other people. It was my homecoming night and I didn't have any time to waste waiting. Needless to say, I left. I came here because I saw the beautiful nails they did on Instagram. Affordable prices, my service is always done quickly, and I always have a perfect shape(I am really picky) I prefer to go to Menh who has a very loyal following, but haven't had a bad experience with anyone who has done my nails. RVA Nails is my favorite place to get my nails done! Everyone there is so personable and nice, and they do amazing work! I would've given five stars, but I have had nails break from two separate sets of acrylics. They fixed them for free, so no biggie really. I got a fill in and one day later a nail broke. Two days later two more nails broke. They agreed to fix them for free but will not give me a refund. I paid $32 for three of my nails to break in less than a week. That is unacceptable. Read Less

It was 6pm when I entered the salon to tried and get my eyebrows done. I noticed the hours of operation said 7pm so I thought I was in kick. As soon as I entered the salon the woman immediately told me that they have stopped taking clients for today. I asked if this included eyebrows, she asked the woman who does eyebrows,  who immediately told me she cannot do my eyebrows.  No on said thank you they all ignored me as I exited the salon. Regardless of the time, a certain professionalism should be maintained  and that was not the case here. I highly recommend as an alternative to go to Rose nails up the street. Read Less
