I’m glad they were open on this snowy day cause i desperately wanted my nails done and everywhere was closed! I called at about 5 and she told me she only takes appts and was able to take me in at 630...
I’m glad they were open on this snowy day cause i desperately wanted my nails done and everywhere was closed! I called at about 5 and she told me she only takes appts and was able to take me in at 630. I arrived at 630 exactly and was seated to get my nails soaked off. I love my nails and she was very friendly ☺️

5PM I Walked n and inquired about a nail repair.. 2 employee's and 1 customer.. No waiting.. I was told 7PM was the time I could get my repair done.. I asked if the other employee (who was standing and obviously waiting for me) could repair my nail.. Lady responded 7PM.. Hmmm .. I just walked out wondering y a 5 min repair couldn't b done! Please don't let my mind wonder over to racism!!

Tried this place because of the great reviews so i went in for pedicure. I was very disappointed since the lady cut my toenails so short that a couple bled. She also did not allow the rocks/cloths to properly cool before putting them on my skin, so they burned. My toenails are ok but my feet and skin hurt. Won’t be back.

First, I want to say that I have never been to this shop and I never will! I called for prices and was told that a gel fill-in is $35 and if I wanted them to paint my nails it would be another $10! ...
First, I want to say that I have never been to this shop and I never will! I called for prices and was told that a gel fill-in is $35 and if I wanted them to paint my nails it would be another $10! I told her I have never been charged to have my nails painted and it was always included. She told me that if I wanted to have my painting included, I should go back to that shop. How rude! That is not the way to get or keep customers. They are expensive and obviously do not care about their customers.

Probably the best mani/pedi I've ever had. Diana is polite and friendly but not too chatty (which usually irritates me before long) and paid great attention to detail.

I keep hearing great things about this nail shop but when I called to make an appointment the woman on the other end said they don't make appointments..EVER! I just don't understand these nail shops ...
I keep hearing great things about this nail shop but when I called to make an appointment the woman on the other end said they don't make appointments..EVER! I just don't understand these nail shops in the East Bay. I'll update this review at the end of the week when I attempt to do a walk-in get a fill.

Traveling in Virginia from Florida U needed a manicure really bad. Diana at Kim's was one of the few here who knew what Nexgen was. She was FABULOUS, the shop was clean and after your nails are done you get a moisturizing hand wax. Heaven! I will either have to kidnap her to Florida or move back to Virginia! She's the BEST!

Next Gen is the best way to get your nails done. It makes them incredibly tough without being thick and it doesn't destroy your actual nail. The staff is really personable.

I heard about Kim Nails thru some of the girls at my new job. They said that they get this polish called Nexgen, and it holds up through all of the hospital abuse. I decided to give it a shot. I've been a loyal Shellac polish wearer for a few years. Nexgen is not as damaging as the other methods of having your nails done! And I got a free paraffin wax treatment!Kim Nails is also probably the cleanest nail salon that I have ever been in!

My go to nail salon. The ladies here do a great job and are always so upbeat. I usually get a gel mani and pedicure. I love how they also have limited edition colors from time to time.I get my eyebrows done here as well. Dianne does a great job on eyebrows and I always get many compliments on them. Probably the best thing about Kim Nail's is that they remember you and your personality. Sometimes I like to not talk and just completely relax and they allow that. Nice relaxing place to get pampered.

I called at about 5 and she told me she only takes appts and was able to take me in at 630. I arrived at 630 exactly and was seated to get my nails soaked off. Tried this place because of the great reviews so i went in for pedicure. I was very disappointed since the lady cut my toenails so short that a couple bled. She also did not allow the rocks/cloths to properly cool before putting them on my skin, so they burned. My toenails are ok but my feet and skin hurt. Won’t be back.

Traveling in Virginia from Florida U needed a manicure really bad. Diana at Kim's was one of the few here who knew what Nexgen was. She was FABULOUS, the shop was clean and after your nails are done you get a moisturizing hand wax. Heaven! I will either have to kidnap her to Florida or move back to Virginia! She's the BEST!

I've been a loyal Shellac polish wearer for a few years. Nexgen is not as damaging as the other methods of having your nails done!
