Be sure you understand what kind of appointment you're setting up. They have the option of what's called a "dry cut" here, which is pretty worthless. I was unaware of this and have curly hair so when they asked me over the phone whether I wanted my hair cut while wet or dry, of course I said dry, but I did not expect that after cutting, no wetting/diffusing/styling was part of the package. I've never heard of such a thing before. I felt rushed during the haircut and did not get the sense that the stylist really cared about what I wanted. It looked decent before I left, so I thought I'd go home and wash it and see, and if it was bad after washing and styling, make them fix it. The receptionist also argued with me, saying that the stylist said I had declined a shampoo and the dry cut issue was my fault. Yes, I did, because it was offered at the beginning of the appointment, and I did not want my hair cut wet. I also did not expect that no shampoo meant no wetting and styling after the cut! Eventually, they offered to fit me in in the next couple days, but it would still only be a dry cut because that's all they had time for (even though I offered to pay more), but I declined because I was just too annoyed and didn't want to walk out of the place again not knowing. Now I'm out $55 and a few inches of hair. Read Less
