I gave it 2 stars because the workmanship is fairly good, but the customer service would not get any stars. I called and was given one price after I detailed what I needed. I arrived, sat in chair and then the price begins to go up. Then all of a sudden the price for the fill in has now jumped to $40.00. That is the price of a full set gel nails. This is said after the polish is off and i have no other choice but to get the complete $40.00 service. So pricing went from $24.00 to $40.00 in 10 minutes. I will not be back because of that. I am in town for a wedding and needed somewhere to get my toes done. I went here because of the reviews I read. I went at 11am on a Friday, and found it busier than I expected. All the employees had their hair pulled back, had on uniform robes, and were wearing face masks and gloves. Very sanitary. My pedi was amazing, and I was offered wine with my service. They did an amazing job with my toes, and I wish i had had time to do my nails as well because all of the customers walking out had great looking nails. Highly recommend for toes. Read Less

Wonderful first experience at this salon! Tina was top notch with my pedicure! She was very thorough and my feet are nice and smooth the day after! Would be five stars but I got someone who was clearly in training. No offense to that nail tech she was very professional just not the fastest or most confident nail tech I’ve ever had. The customers on either side of me were devout regulars who swore by this place. One woman got something called Holographic nails and it blew my mind it looked so good. I've been coming here since I was in undergrad at VCU. And they've been amazing every single time I've come in to get my nails done! And they've recently expanded their store so is bigger, nicer, and they even serve you wine/drinks if you're getting a service of $30 or over! I have been looking forward to getting my nails done for over a month, but could not find the time. This was my fist time here. Overall, the space was nice and the fact they give a complementary beverage of water, Pepsi or wine is a plus if you spend more than $30.  I came in on a Sunday around 3pm. They were quite busy, which is nice to see for a business. I decided to get the Deluxe Pedicure ($40) and treat myself. The massage portion was great, however, last minute they were running busy and sent the nail tech who was working on me to work on someone else next to me. Then another nail tech/manager came in to paint my nails and finish me up. She did it in such a fashion like she was trying to kick me out. It may have taken her a total of 2 minutes to paint my nails.  She was also working on another client. I felt disrespected and gypped. Stopped by at 12:30 for a pedicure. I'm new to Richmond so I rely heavily on google reviews. They have a few options. I opted for the deluxe because I love when hot stones are used. It was $35. It's nice they use liners for the bowls. They offer a glass or wine or soda if you spend $35 or more. That was a nice surprise! I was a little dissapointed my tech didn't speak English, but since my family is Vietnamese, I understand. It was overall a good experience. I'll definitely be back. Overall satisfied and it's a beautiful, clean space. However, I'm peeved that though I specified the same polish for hands and feet, I can tell it's a slightly different shade. While cutting my cuticles, she nipped my skin and it bled pretty bad, still stings today. She put the antiseptic product on it directly from the container which touched my skin; skeevy to think on that.  Also you can charge your service but not leave a tip via card. I had a great experience. Came in on a Thursday around 230 and was helped right away. Purchased the deluxe pedi and was very satisfied. The massage with this package was very extensive and they used all sanitary sealed products. The girl who did my nails named Kane was very talented. I really enjoyed the foot massage and she did a great job with the polish. The only down side is that they accept cash only for tips. I will remember this for next time. Had excellent service. My nail tech Vyvy was friendly, professional, and very good. I've been getting the dipping/powder service for over 3 years but this was my first time having it done here and she did an amazing job. With me being used to the services and its process, she did everything as it was suppose to be done. I'll definitely be back to see her and will become a regular customer. They were great!! They don't care about just making money. My niece had a great time, she's only 9 and every decision she tried to make they ran it by me for my approval which I liked and told me the prices before hand. And their so affordable and do an amazing job!!! Anyone looking for a great affordable nail shop go here. Had my nails done a few times over the summer and was very satisfied. Nice environment, and everyone was pleasant. However, I did have a bad experience a few days ago. I went in for a full set, I didn't catch the name of the man that did my nails...I don't remember seeing him in the past, so I'm not sure if he was new. He did a horrible job on my nails. The acrylic was very thick and was all over my fingers along with glue..he cut me several times, which caused my fingers to ...feel sore.I can't even explain the shape of the nails..I requested almond shaped and that's definitely not what I got. I also requested a no-chip Polish...he didn't even fully paint my nails. I wish I would have said something at the time...but I was panicking because I had a wedding to go to and didn't want to take a chance on ruining my nails even more. Jacie is by far the best nail technician there. Her pedicures are perfectly on point and her manicures are the same. She really takes the time to make sure you're happy with the length of your nails, as well as the colors you choose and let's you know if a color isn't going to show up on your nails well because some of the polish looks different on the samples you can choose from (unlike others there). I've been in there before in her absence and let someone else do them. NEVER again. The owners are really nice and understanding as well. I've only ever had my finger nails done by Nancy twice but I can tell she's a perfectionist when it comes to that and they came out flawless. Hands down the best nail spot in the area.
