I had gone here for a bridal shower with my cousins fiancée the last time I came here I was so young and didn't know what a GOOD manicure was. The staff is lovely (the other bridesmaid thought they were rushing us) but as I left the nail salon with the bride while we were going for our bridesmaid dinner I'm looking at my nails, they're streaky, thin and the polish isn't near my cuticle, HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING! As I open my car door my pinky nail breaks! Not even 20 minutes after we left! I couldn't go back because the bride and I were staying out of town near her venue as soon as dinner was over. Some of the sweetest women you will ever meet! I get my eyebrows done here twice a month and I'm never disappointed. The prices average about the same as other salons. They do not do designs on nails anymore, but that's fine with me as I just usually get a classic French. 😊 it's a small salon run by sisters, so be patient if there are a few people in front of you! Tina's is a great little nail salon.  I have been there twice and both times left completely satisfied.  The are gentle and complete with their manicures and pedicures.  I have horrific cuticles and calluses that  always look great and feel better when I leave.  It is a truly painless mani/pedi.  The paint on my toe nails looks great!  The price is fair. I went here because I like to support small businesses. My experience with the employees during the manicure was nice at first ...however the gel manicure that I got was the worst one I've ever had. The polish looked like it had already been on my nails for a week because the polish started so far away from my cuticles. Also, the polish was not evenly spread, leaving it streaky and lighter than I wanted. I was in a rush and left but later that night I took a closer look at my nails and realized just how bad it was. I went back in to see if I could come in a different time and get it redone or if I could be refunded. I didn't have time to do it again right at the moment. The women who had done my nails became absurdly defensive and prideful saying that "she doesn't make mistakes" and that I could either "sit down and have it redone right NOW or I could leave" she refused to refund me my $30 and was completely unapologetic. I didn't have time to get it redone right at that moment so I left Tina's with a horrible manicure and an awful experience. I definitely do not recommend going here. They do not care about their customers and you WILL end up with a bad manicure. Read Less

My sister and I just moved to Powhatan from CA, and were searching for a place to get our nails done. I am so glad we stumbled upon Tina's! The atmosphere was so great, the nail techs were so friendly, and to top it off my nails look fabulous! I opted for a shellac manicure and regular pedi. The prices were very reasonable. They had a wide variety of colors to choose from and were very attentive. I have definitely found my nail salon!! Read Less

I will not be going there again!! The sign said 18$ for a manicure and they charged me 33$. Crazy. They did not even do half the things that other salons do for a manicure, and charged twice as much.Read Less
