I tried this place because they had such a good rating on Google. I usually go to another place but unfortunately they went out of business. Needless to say I am HIGHLY disappointed with the service I received here. I was not going to write a review at all, but I see how misleading Google reviews can be, and since I spent more than I usually do for a less than satisfactory service I decided to wait a day and get my thoughts together. I already had acrylic on my nails so the foundation was already laid out but I told the lady I would like them trimmed down and if she needed to she could soak off the acrylic. Being that I am a horrible nail biter it has taken quite a while for my nail bed and nails to look as well as they do. She proceeded to soak my nails and drimel them soak them and drimel soak and drimel. During the process she burned my pinky finger with the drimel, did not remove all the acrylic and there was still old nail Polish still left on the edge of my nail when she started to put the acrylic on. The acrylic was so thick, there was no technique to what she did. It was so much and thick it was falling on the table and getting under my nails. Once she was done she drimeled them some more to even the acrylic out and took a thinner one and got the acrylic out from under my nails. They were still very unnaturally thick. Then she shaped them up with the courses emery they had, brushed the dust off my hands then painted my nails. After my nails were painted, for whatever reason she kept filing them with the course emery and the edges were sticking up. She notice there was still a chunk of acrylic under my thumb and pushed her nail into it and got it out, which in return caused my thumb nail to split from the nail bed. When she was finished she told me to wash my hands and we were finished. I paid and left. When I got to my car and began to look at my nails, they are all.... and I mean every single one of them filed to the left. I am now spending my day fixing and painting them myself. I came here years ago and recently saw a special on Facebook for Pedis. $20 on Tuesday and Wednesdays 10am-2pm. My Winter weary hooves-ummm....feet needed some TLC. 2011 I came to get my hair bleached and cut. I also came to get my nails done. It was probably the worst experience I've ever had. -My hair was fried. - I asked for my hair to be cut up to my shoulders and it was cut to my chin. -The woman did a horrible job ay painting my nails. It looked like a little kid did it. The nail polish didnt even look good, wasnt even on smooth and was on my skin.... I will never forget this experience. Walked in on a Saturday with my mom and 2 year old daughter! I wanted a fill in and my mom needed a haircut! We walked in and got greeted and taken right away! Cathy did my nails! She did amazing and was so understandable for my daughter she was playing with her and even painted her nails! My moms hair came out looking very nice! Very pleased with my experience at Savi Salon and Spa! Very clean and friendly! I recently came in to get a spray tan, my nails, and hair done. Firstly, the spray tan was incredible because it actually looked like I was tan and not an orange. Then, I had gotten a no chip manicure. They had a great variety of colors and the women did an excellent job wth my cuticles(which are unpleasant to deal with). Lastly, I was in need of a major haircut. Elmwood parks cross country team qualified for state. The tradition is to dye their hair blonde. I called and spoke to Kathy and within 10 mins I arrived with 5 boys. They took the boys right away and started dying their hair. I could have not asked for a more perfect experience. Carmela did a fantastic job. They all look great and they participated in the fact the boys qualified. I truly thank them from the bottom of my heart for taking my call and having all those boys in there for 3 hrs. Found this place in passing.  The nail tech Kim was very personable and did a good job on my gel mani. I had a male for my toes and he did a good job on my toes.  However, the foot/leg massage???? DON'T GO HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET ANY KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. Went to get eyebrows waxed and specifically explained to woman that I just wanted them cleaned up, NOT thinned out. When I saw what she had done she acted like it was no big deal. They were crazy thin and uneven. I asked to speak to the manager and she of course said she was and just shrugged her shoulders when I explained how unhappy I was with what she had done. Went to see Kim on a recommendation from a friend because she always had beautiful nails that often had neat designs or colors.Tried the gels and loved them. They lasted a good two and a half weeks and looked beautiful.         Kim is a gifted nail artist. Had her put daisies on the thumbnail and ring finger during summer. She did a couple of holiday designs from pictures I found online. All of the folks in the shop do a good job. They do waxes, facials, mani pedis and other services. Read Less
