The girl was nice. The shape of my brows are lovely. I mean fantastic shape and she knew what she was doing. However the tint is absolutely terrible looking! I am a red head and my eyebrows are BLACK. She said she would tint a light brown well I doubt she did that. It looks unflattering and I am literally embarrassed to leave my house. I tried to get help from them. They just say they will fade. So now I have to wait days or weeks to feel comfortable again. Update: They just called to give me a refund and offered to do an express Mani. So at least they have tried to rectify the situation even though I am stuck with the brows tell they fade and that's disappointing. People make mistakes and I appreciate them doing the right thing now. Love my nails though! Read Less

I only continue to go here because they give the best pedicure anywhere due them using the shaving blade where lots of places do not. So your feet are very smooth after. The fill is the same as you find at other salons, but they have very limited color choices for nails. And I mean verrry limited color choices. Now this place is hard to sit in. They have roaches, very bad lighting, it is not clean, and the place is old and dated. I want to find another nail salon, but the pedicure is the best anywhere. Maybe I will just come there for the pedicure and find somewhere else for the fill in and polish. If I find a better place that does both, I will re-post. Read Less

The decor is dated and really worn looking. The staff said hello but did not ask what services I wanted. I wanted a manicure and a pedicure... they were currently attending to two customers already. I could easily be soaking while I wait but alas they did not do that. After ten minutes of waiting I asked how long the wait was for a pedicure since I was the only customer. The woman told me the other staff member was almost done. ...so I sit down and thumb through some magazines. I look up to see the man is still buffing the clients nails and is no where near done. I had my hair and makeup done for an engagement photo shoot and they did an amazing job! Everything lasted hours and in fairly windy conditions on the beach. Having come up from Melbourne myself it can sometimes be a bit daunting going to a new salon but the staff were great, happy to go with the look I was after but not afraid to give their own suggestions, which really enhanced the look in the end :) Read Less

Had my makeup done for Splendour in the grass music festival. It was amazing. It stayed flawless all day! I got to rock some awesome facial gems and they looked awesome!! This had to be the worst experience I've ever had with this shop! I went in because I needed a fill in and that's exactly what the female gave me but she rushed and my nails look horrible. There big and bulky and they lifted 2 days after I got them done. I went back and asked for my money back and they denied my request, they said to come back and they will fix them for me. I had my hair and makeup done at Byron Beauty Bar for my sister in-laws wedding. The staff were all really friendly and listened to what I was after. Both the hairstyle and dress really complemented my dress. It was fantastic being able to get both hair and makeup done at the same salon, they also do nails which would be great for next time. First time there. Seems like everyone was waiting for "Tony" ... not sure who the lady was but she butchered my feet. She cut me.
