Sigh. Horrible. Tragic. Disappointing.Things that happened during this visit:1. Nail tech. cut my cuticle (and made me bleed)2. Nail tech. did a horrible job painting my fingernails and toenails3. Nail tech. didn't put enough coats of white polish on my toenails4. Nail. tech. did not shape my nails correctly (I have one squared thumbnail and one rounded one)5. Nail. tech. didn't clean the polish remover from my toes (so I walked out with ashy-looking feet)6. Nail tech. didn't massage my hands with lotion (so my skin felt very dry and tight and had paint all over them)Things that did happen during the visit:1. I left muhfuggin' pissedI came to this salon today because I didn't feel like driving out to my regular salon on Holland Road. I walked in and was greeted by a woman doing someone's eyebrows. A gentleman came out and asked what I'd like done. I told him I wanted a manicure (gel) and a pedicure (regular polish). Let me say that the man who did my nails was NOT Kevin. Kevin seems to be highly demanded by people because I heard multiple customers request him to do their eyebrows. The guy who helped me was a short guy with reddish-colored hair.He took me over to the spa chairs to do my pedicure. I told him that because I just got a tattoo on my foot, I didn't want to put my feet in the tub. I must've confused him by saying "pedicure" since that word describes the massage, treatments, etc. My bad. I told him again that I just wanted regular polish on my toenails. He walked me over to the table near the register and got started on my nails. I showed him the design I wanted and asked him if he could do it. He said they had someone who could. While he was removing my gel polish, we noticed that my left thumb was cracked. I wanted to know if he could cut it, but when I asked him, he basically said it'd be better to put acrylic on it since the crack was so low, so I let him do it.As he was getting my cuticles, he cut my finger and I noticed that it was bleeding. He kept trying to put pressure on it and wipe it off, and commented on how it wouldn't stop bleeding. I wasn't too upset but I was beginning to feel a little antsy about the outcome of this visit. He also put some of that green first-aid stuff on it.He kept working, shaped my nails, started painting and that's when I got alarmed. On my left hand, I noticed that the paint was all off of the nails and on my skin and my fingers. The nail tech. tried to do that thing where they use their own nails to sort of get rid of the excess polish and clean it up, but he could barely do it because his own nails were so short. Also, the nails on my left hand look more square-shaped while the ones on my right hand are sort of rounded. Anyway, he continued painting and I could feel my face tightening up because I was so disappointed but don't want to say anything. He finished painting, my nails dried with the UV/Shellac light and he cleaned the nails up with a nail file. They looked a little better but the difference in shape was still very noticeable. He took me over to the spa chair and quickly removed the polish from my toes, then painted them. I asked him "Is that white polish?" because it looked beige. He said it was. It is indeed white, but it looked beige because he hadn't put enough coats on. I thought they would look better with another coat, but I never got one.Once he was done, he took me to this table to get my design painted on. I showed the photo on my phone to a woman and she looked nervous, but did it. Once she was done painting, she had me use a regular fan built into the table to dry my nails (so I had to sit there for another 10 minutes or so). Once they were dry, I left. No hand massage, no lotion, just tight skin, struggly polish, and a mood that was even worse than when I arrived.I am so disappointed. Please don't come here. They're nice people, yes, but their nail techs. are awful. Also, they had a sign up that says they are hiring nail techs. If you are a good nail tech, consider applying and maybe teaching them a thing or two.I will not be returning. Read Less
