I gave this shop 5 starts basically because of Tom. I love me some Tom, he is the best. Not only is this the only shop I go to but usually he's the one I let do my nails(sometimes Sun, his brother, he's awesome also), he's fast and efficient, and we chat about everything and I believe Tom knows/ can do a little bit of everything, LOL I get advice or service on electronics, car maintenance, home repairs, etc. while getting my nails done. We have an excellent repertoire and I can't imagine going elsewhere to get my nails done. I'm glad he took over as owner, love him, mom not so much, been coming there for years and she rarely speaks. Anywho, if you want a great nail tech, go to TC Nails and ask for Tom!!!

I love this nail salon. Very family Oriented and they treat you as your part of the family. I live in Hampton and I travel about 25 minutes just to come here. If your looking for a good shop to get your nails done this is definitely the place to visit.

One of the worst nail salons in the city of Newport News.The older lady should not be doing any acrylic and for those of you that don't know I'm spilling all her ☕ because she told me one day she didn...
One of the worst nail salons in the city of Newport News.The older lady should not be doing any acrylic and for those of you that don't know I'm spilling all her ☕ because she told me one day she didn't know how and she made me wait on her son but I've seen her take customers at her work station. Little tip for those who don't know she takes her brush over saturates it with acrylic liquid and rubs the acrylic liquid all over your fingers as well as under you nails? if she was certified she would know you do not do that. The powder and liquid is only for the nail youre suppose to minimze skin which comes with practice you don't apply so much of it to a customers skin.Oh and that b**with that thirsty shake n go wig is a nasty peice of work she yelled at me and refused me service because I requested stelleto nails and she didn't know how to get the shape right.All the people that did great work seems to no longer be there?? This place customer service is horrible their work is garbage and I don't think the ones left are state certified nail techs they're just doing your nails from watching other people or youtube videos hence excessive lifting breaking yellowing of acrylic and any other problems.I have had to walk out of this place twice with unpolished nails due to poor quality of customer service. Save Yourself the money and frustration run like hell in another direction when in the vicinity of this nail salon eventually you will regret throwing your hard earned money away...I didn't want to give this s**t hole any stars but I had to to post

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I got my eyebrows and lip waxed and broke out really badly all over my face. I never had an acne problem so I know this was an issue with their wax or stick used....

I called to see if they could help me out with a discount or something on my next service and NANCY went to say "I can't do nothing. You can out Neosporin" I will NEVER return ever again. I see why business is slow. Their customer service is terrible!! Don't waste your money!!

One of the worst nail salons in the city of Newport News.The older lady should not be doing any acrylic and for those of you that don't know I'm spilling all her ☕ because she told me one day she didn't know how and she made me wait on her son but I've seen her take customers at her work station.
