Upon walking into the establishment, I said hello to the staff and I received a stare with no response (in my head, that was a Strike #1). I had asked the first lady I saw the cost of my pedicure and she pointed to another lady, who I assumed was the manager (who's name is Sharon). Sharon was working on someone's eyelashes (or eyebrows), in a side room and I didn't want to interrupt her. However, since the lady pointed to her and the door was open, I politely and quietly said, "excuse me...", and before I could even ask the question about the cost, Sharon abruptly snapped at me (unprofessionally) and said, "$35. Pick a color!" (Strike #2). Going back to the first lady who ended up doing my pedicure: I had asked her where should I put the nailpolish and she told me to put it anywhere. So, I put it on the table. Then, she (and her entire family) began eating a cinnamon bun. I felt like I had to let her know that I was on my lunch break and that I didn't have enough time. It was obvious to me that if I didn't say anything, she would have continued eating her cinnamon bun and had me wait. As she started doing my pedicure, I tried to strike up a conversation with her, by asking her how was her day going, and she gave me an unfriendly, "I'm fine", response. I quickly realized that she was not interested in talking to me, the customer (Strike #3). She was more interested in continuing her conversation with Sharon and everyone else who worked in the salon. I'm not sure if she was angry at me for not giving her the opportunity to finish eating her cinnamon bun but, that was unprofessional. In the end, When it was time to pay at the counter, she turned the tablet to me and rudely said, "leave a tip if you want" and walked away (Strike #4). In sum, I left a good tip because, she did do an awesome job! However, due to poor customer service and an unsanitary environment, I will not return. There were too many strikes for me! Read Less
