I love this salon! The owners are married and they are so sweet and absolutely hilarious. The whole staff is super friendly and it's a family-run business. At first glance,  this shop looks like a small, outdated salon. I didn't think they would be up to date with the latest nail trends but to my surprise they are indeed worth a visit. It's a mom and pop style nail salon that offers many services. They were able to service both me and my mom quickly without an appointment and they are decently priced. Both times I've gone in the staff has been incredibly welcoming and friendly. I haven't had to wait either time I was there, and have been very happy with both my gel manicures and pedicures both times I've gone. I'll definitely continue coming here to get my nails done. Read Less

Never going here again I got my eyebrows waxed here and when I got home to take a better look the person who waxed them missed so many spots I am now plucking them to get all the spots she missed. She was just in a hurry and acted like she didn't even want to be doing it. Read Less

Surly, rude staff and zero customer service. I was visiting family and decided to give this place a shot for a mani/pedi, since it was conveniently located. I walked in and immediately got a bad vibe. The place looks dumpy and rather unclean inside. The rude nail technician at the front station barely acknowledged me and muttered something unintelligible under her breath when I said I'd like a gel mani and regular pedi. Loved how clean this salon was until I got into my car and saw what a horrible job this gentlemen did, patchy and I have Deep air bubbles on my nails. I come to Nail Spa Central for pedi and gel manicures quite often. I switched to this salon after seeing a customer and her friend cause a scene in a nearby nail salon, making it an uncomfortable environment. . Staff is very friendly. I'm always lucky enough to get either the lady owner or her husband to do my nails. They both do great work. The shop is very very clean. I was here right before they were closing and watched them dust sweep up & sanitize EVERYTHING! Not sure if going to a clean nail shop is important to most people but it is for me. I need to know that when I'm getting my nails done that the equipment has been cleaned out properly. This place gets my nails looking fabulous & I have that peace of mind knowing that I won't get some type of infection. Read Less

This is a hidden treasure. They treat you like family and provide great services. You immediately get greeted and told if you have to wait or if you like you got a time to come back. I had to add this business in order to give it a poor review. I have been to the nail spa 5-6 times over the last couple years. I take my mother (81) who lives in an assisted living facility nearby. It is a treat to get her nails done. The place is fairly small and difficult to maneuver with a cane but we had success the first few times. When we went the day after Thanksgiving, we had a very sweet young woman who was patient and kind to my mother. I also had a service. The tech was not part of the family group that runs the place. Near the end of my mother's manicure which had taken no more than 30 minutes, the owner came over and yelled at the technician "you are not done yet!". I was taken aback at the behavior, embarassed for the tech, and disappointed that my mother was made to feel rushed. There is no excuse for confronting an employee in front of customers or even other employees. The owner was rude and unhappy. I will never go back there and instead choose one of the other salons on this site. I also do not want any one else to patronize a business that has such an owner. Read Less

Easily the worst nail salon in hampton roads. My girlfriend went in for a simple gel fill and trusted a salon she'd been to before to be capable of such a task. Unfortunately, after less than 2 weeks she has broken 3 nails with little to no effort.  Thankfully, we've found a competent nail technician, at another salon of course, that won't confuse acrylic powder for gel powder. I will say the owners, a married couple, were incredibly nice. They're the only reason for one star.Beware of the haughty nail technician with an attitude. Read Less

I was a walk in, no scheduled appointment, thankfully I was waited on right away. This is my second time here, seems like the shop has shrunk from a couple of years ago. Personally I am a fan of the drying lights being on either side of the station for efficiency. I had 3 people during my pedicure, I prefer to keep one. The younger gentleman did the best massage, the lady seemed a bit rushed but the older guy was kind and personable.Since the pink gel that I use was carried by this shop for my fill it was a definite bonus. I visited this salon and received the worst acrylic fill ever!  They charged $15 for fill then an extra $5 to shorted, then another $3 for a broken nail.  The shape and filing were terrible.  Do not use this salon!!!! Read Less
