Only went because they were open on Sunday. I could tell she was irritated especially when I told her I wasn’t happy with the color. She must’ve been ready to go , it was close to closing time. Well I won’t go back. $23.00 for a 15 minute fill and repair she could have had a better attitude. She offered to change my color but they didn’t even have what I wanted. I just left. The best customer service I received was from the woman who did my pedicure, Le. That was great! However, the wait time and being skipped over for people that wanted to be seated together was too much. I got a full set, but the woman was a bit annoyed after being told that a nail was crooked. I have been there twice now. The second time I needed 2 nails fixed because they broke. I wasn’t as impressed the second time, but the technician the second time didn’t do enough layers of polish for my liking. But Tina was my first technician and I walked out so happy!! I had my walkin visit there last week. And the lady who is around 50 years old did faboulous job. She was really warm and welcoming. Place is very professional and they have really good staff. I have already tried 2 places before and their experience was disaster. My nail artist suggested me very nice colours for my nail. She did excellent work on my pedi. I am new mom so she made sure that i got enough relaxation during my pedi. Just found place little bit expensive. But its worth. Guess what, they are open 7 days in a week. The wife and daughter like it here. They say it's cheap, quick, and efficient. I don't know about being "cheap", as I spent $100 for a mani-pedi for the wife (gel), and an acrylic mani for the daughter. You judge for yourself. I took my wife here to get a full set, and wish I'd never came here. We walked in and my wife asked to get a full set, and these 2 technicians talked in their language, looked at my wife, and walked away. Another customer walked in right after us, and asked for some services and was seated immediately. After this customer was seated one of the technicians asked my wife if they could help her.At this time several of the other customers were looking at us in disbelief because of what they witnessed. Feeling very uncomfortable, unwelcome, and upset at how we were treated, we walked out without anyone apologizing. I will NEVER take my wife here again, and would not recommend them to anyone. Just because my wife looked different than the customer that came in after her, she was made to feel less than and that our business was not welcome at their establishment. There are several other nail shops in the area who would do a better job and be more welcoming to all customers, regardless of how they look. I would recommend any of them before this place. The girl, Thu, that did my Mani/pedi did a great job with my pedicure. But when we started with the Mani, I realized the gel color I picked out didn't match the color she pulled. She made it very obvious that she wasn't happy with having to get the right color. Instead of telling me she couldn't do nail art she tried to make an attempt and failed miserably. When I asked to forgo the art and just make all nails one color she refused and told me no, and left my nails looking like a 6yr old did them. For the money out spent in that shop I would've hoped to have had better service, and to have LOVED what my nails looked like stead of going to Ulta to match up the color with regular polish to fix at home. He’s very short with people, is EXTREMELY rude when asked to book an appointment, and he even hung up on me 3 times when I called. I don’t understand where all these bad reviews are coming from. This is the ONLY place I’ll willingly go to for my nails in Newport News. Every technician I’ve ever had was wonderful and went out of their way to make sure I was happy with their work. The prices are a bit pricey, however for the customer service and work that you get it’s well worth it. I have been here for the 3rd time now with 3 different techs each time. The first 2 were just, okay. The third one that I saw today went cuticle clipper happy. I recently visited this establishment to get my nails done for a wedding. My experience was disappointing to say the least. The technician who did my nails used an excessive amount of acrylic, which caused an excessive amount of drilling and filing that has now caused my nails to ache and are sore. I asked the technician to fix the two nails that were crooked as well as not make the nails so thick. She argued with me and kept making excuses telling me that they were not cro...oked and that the nails needed to be thick so they do not break. I've gotten my nails done many times and never did I have to have so much acrylic on them to keep them from breaking. They literally look like talons or claws. I asked for almond shape and they ended up with sharp pointed tips. When I asked for them to be rounded, she got an attitude and started aggressively filing my nail. Another technician had to come soften the edges and reshape my nails. The edges of the nails around the nail bed and cuticle are jagged and messy. I will never patronize this establishment ever again. Tried this past week for the first time. Was over charged. I got a mani & pedi when on the board says $35. I was charged $25 for each service a total of $75(my daughter got a mani). Then on top of that my gel polish started chipping in 3 days. Went back to have corrected and I was told because the person wasn't there that did my nails I needed to have a receipt! Who keeps a paper receipt for nails service? Even though... I was able to pull up the receipt with my bank via my phone because I paid with my card, by now I felt I was being insulted for 3 chipped nails! Really! I was looking for a new place to go to since I moved recently but they won't be getting my money! I have never had acrylic nails before and decided to get a full set here recently after considering different salons and their prices. The service was great, if you have photos of the shape and style you want it definitely helps. They have very reasonable prices and I'm happy with the result. My technician was careful to check with me if I was happy with my nails at each stage since she knew I was unfamiliar with acrylics. They do try to get you in and out fairly quickly but I do not see this as an issue since their work does not look sloppy or hastily done. Read Less

The nail salon appears very clean and neat. There was a large crowd but many staff there to accommodate. I waited for about 20 min. I got a manicure with gel polish. The manicure was not rushed, she did a good job. However, 4 days later my gel polish has little cracks throughout it which makes it look like they use polish thinner. Gel polish usually does not crack or chip for weeks. I have not done anything extensive to make the polish crack. Read Less

I love this place. I actually tried them one time when I was just visiting the area and needed a fill and I was very impressed. Very clean and you are overwhelmed with the usual smells associated with nail shops. Very spacious and updated equipment as well...
