I’ve been to this place two times before today and the usual nail tech I have (mai) has done an amazing job for the past two times I have went in. Today I go in for a fill, gel polish, and two repairs... and i had a different lady do my nails as my normal nail tech wasn’t in. I knew I should have left. I have never been more dissatisfied with my nails. As i was telling her what i wanted.. she was getting aggravated it seemed.. like it was too much for her. She starts on my nails, and goes to put a fresh acrylic nail on one of my fingers that needed repairing and it was fine. But on my other one that was lifting and needed to be replaced she just glued it down.. like that really fixes anything. Then she fills the rest of my nails and starts filing.. she was filing extremely rough to the point where it started to hurt and i had to tell her to go easier. She starts yanking at my hands like she’s mad and actually cut three of my cuticles. She rushed through, nails are bumpy as all hell, none of them are the same shape, my middle finger is shorter than all my other nails.. and my “matte” gel polish was uneven and patchy. When i went to pay she was literally STARING at me as i wrote the tip like five dollars wasn’t enough. I shouldn’t have tipped AT ALL. I SHOULDNT HAVE PAID for this period. Okay the service is great but the product isn’t. This is the second time I got a full set with gel and the next day the gel is peeling off, even on my toes and everybody knows the nail polish on your toes last longer .. not this one . They really need to invest in better gel products or stop trying to stretch it, which ever one it is cause we pay to much extra for gel polish for it still not to last !! Read Less

I've been looking for "my" mani/pedi spot and I think I finally found it. Magic Nails welcomed me when I walked in (literally everyone turned and said hello) and I was able to walk-in for a pedi with no problem. The foot baths are hygienic, they use the plastic wrap on the bottom so you aren't sitting your feet into a dirty door bath. They offered a beverage which Is a lovely option! My nail tech was gentle and gave the best calf massage I've had in a while. The price is right, the staff is friendly and the pedi looks great - I'll be back again soon! Read Less

Honestly I would give them 0 stars if I could and I'm shocked they have nearly 5 stars. I came in before Valentine's day to get acrylic stilleto nails with a peach to black tip ombre style. I showed the lady at the front desk the picture so she could confirm it can be done (She was also the one who painted my nails so this is no excuse). Within seconds she immediately sent me over to a man who shaped my nails and did the acrylics which were fine at first but the gel is definitely uneven and misshapen on a lot of my nails. When it came time to paint them the lady took over and she put black on first instead of the lighter peach color for ombre... I suggested that wouldn't the lighter color go on first? She said no it goes on top... but I don't see how peach can cover jet black like the picture I had at all... I trusted her anyway since the place had good reviews and a picture of ombre nails and it was my first time so what do I know anyway? She gets done with the black and puts one coat of the peach color over the bottom half of my nail and it's just a muddy grey nothing like the peach nude color in the reference at all and she continuously asked if I like it to the point I was angry and told her no because it's not what I wanted and I told her I wouldn't haven't gotten the ombre style if I didn't think she could do it... So I requested they be all black and she tells me she can't do that the man who helped me earlier picked up a pink glitter which was no where on the reference picture I had and tried to put it over the muddy grey... I backed up in horror before he touched me with it because in no universe do I want pink glitter on my nails its not at all what I asked for... So I requested my nails be done over in black yet again (reminder only one hand needed to be redone at this point) and she finally does it.. during this she claimed the picture I brought in was Photoshop... It was a simple ombre and I am an avid Photoshop user so I know she was full of it and just trying to save her mistake. On top of this she grabbed my phone with the reference image and started going through my pictures just scrolling away with no boundaries or attention to how aggravated that made me until I asked her to give it back to me... in the end this was worth maybe  $20 max but I was taken advantage of, treated unprofessional and then charged  $50. Never coming back and never recommending this place. Everyone who's seen the nails says I should get a refund but I don't even want to bother with them anymore... Read Less

This is the most professional and friendly nail salon I have ever been to. The entire staff offers a warm smile and kind words. Henry did a full set on me and was very detailed in his work, listened to all of my requests, and even offered me a free bottle of water. Very nice touch, clean salon, friendly atmosphere! So glad I found this nail salon. The staff are friendly and provide great service. I have been here twice and had Kim and Nai work on my nails. They both did a wonderful job and the best part was they did not hurt me. They listened to what I wanted my nails to look like and did exactly that. The salon was freezing!! Everyone in there including the workers had to leave their heavy winter coats on. I was sat down right away, but was left unattended to for over 30 minute. By this time the water I was soaking my feet in was also cold. I had to ask someone to add hot water. The technician was kind and did an excellent job. Read Less

Magic Nails is my absolute favorite nail salon! Employees are friendly, offer food and water, and do a fabulous job consistently. They offer coupons and do discounts regularly. My gel pedicures last about 3 months, which is a BIG plus! Highly recommend! Read Less

I really liked it here! I got in just before the rush. I was greeted nicely and they asked if I would like water or champagne as soon as my butt hit the chair. The champagne was very tasty and added to the relaxing experience. After that it was a normal pedicure but I am picky with the places I visit for pedis. I would definitely visit here again!! My mother always goes here and loves it but I went today and didn't the color or the way my nails were done. Long story short I wanted matte nails and got both compared to what o wanted. I'm sad because it all took a long time and I had somewhere else I had to be so I payed and left. Disappointed in the quality. Read Less

Initially I would've given four (4) stars but unfortunately after one week my shellac (Gel) nails peeled off, not one but all.  I looked on the floor and it looked like an artificial nail but it was my gel polish that peeled off like an nail. On some fingers, the polish cracked after 4 days.  The shop was clean, customer service was okay (overly accommodating). I love this place and the new location! I got my 1st pedicure there when I was 13 and I still go to them at 28! Customer service is always excellent! They offer free water and chips with the 35$ pedicure!! I've got a feel for all the nail techs, however my favorites are the owner, the young girl who sits at table 3, it's a middle aged man who may be at station 8. The older man and older woman didn't do my nails that well so I wouldn't recommend them for any manicures. Other than that magic nails will always be number 1 for me! Read Less

I have been here three times now, twice for a gel mani and once for a gel pedi. I have had a different nail technician each time, but they are all professional and meticulous in their work. While it may not seem like it while you are there (because they are super efficient!) I have never had my manicures last as long as the two I've had here. In fact, I had to have my gel mani redone eventually only because it had grown out so much, but I had no chipping or breakage at all. Very very particular when it comes to getting my nails done. They weren't filed straight and gel was uneven. Meaning there was light spots on my nail. Never knew that was possible. Absolutely, !!!!The Worst!!!!Please beware workmanship is poor, unprofessional (Asian nails salon, so they will be speaking their language while there are customers). I didn't get what I wanted and got what they thought was good for me. In the end my bill was $65.00 and I tipped $5 to leave me alone after the horrible job she did on my pedicure and manicure. Note: she gave me a deluxe pedicure and manicure that was $55 which I did not asked for. Please do not try this it was horrible and smelled terrible. So $70 for not getting the acrylic french manicure and french pedicure, with poor workmanship, in an unprofessional nail salon, plus the deluxe pedicure and manicure that was not requested by the customer.
