I don't usually write reviews but, I feel that my experience with this place needs to it. I went in on a very busy Saturday afternoon. My daughter and I waited for about 30 mins before we were seated....
I don't usually write reviews but, I feel that my experience with this place needs to it. I went in on a very busy Saturday afternoon. My daughter and I waited for about 30 mins before we were seated. Once we were seated we waited another 30 mins to receive services. I became annoyed while waiting, when I realized the massager on my chair wasn't working. I was even more annoyed when they sat me 2 seats away from my daughter (who is 7). On top of everything else, there was a half empty cup, full of flies which was left in the cup holder of my chair (from the previous customer I assume). The facility was ridiculously hot, louder than I prefer and worst of all, unkept. I went in to spend a little girl time with my daughter, but I left highly irritated and dissatisfied. Just not the best! Plus they charged me more than what I was told. Bad experience. Do not go there! Go somewhere that's cleaner and professional.

This was my first time going to KNails. I called ahead to get prices for a full set & to check availability. When I got there, we had to wait for maybe 30-35 min when I was told over the phone that there's no wait. My daughter and I got full sets, same lengths and different shapes(Square & Coffin) we didn't get anything additional. When it was time to pay, she charged me an additional $8 for the Shape(?) Really, no one told us this. I've never was charged anywhere else for a different shape. It would've been nice if she told me this because I could've settled for the square shape to save $8. When I told the lady, she got really upset and was acting very childish. The place wasn't as clean and they ran out of soap which is very weird?! Anyways, it was my first time and I don't think I'll be going there anytime soon.

My experience was horrible. The place was dirty, the table wasn't wiped down, it still had chippings on there. The lady(owner?) was rude. I overheard her talking to one of the customers about prices and she was really rude, wasn't professional. I think everyone there heard her. My nails didn't last long, when I went there to have them fixed after 3 days, they wanted me to pay for it? when it wasn't done correctly the first time. Just bad! don't go there!!!! I RATE THEM NO STARS

I went to this place because my regular nail place was booked. I called ahead for prices and when I got there, they added additional things that I never requested which caused more than what I was told over the phone. The nails looked great but, I was misinformed over the phone with prices. I didn't find them friendly. Won't go there again.

Had a wonderful experience today!! Accidentally arrived 30 min before open, and she opened up for me anyways!! Went right to work on me, was patient and attentive, gentle and very friendly! I came in for a full set and left with a deluxe pedicure too! How can you not when the service is this good?? I would recommend to anyone!!

Came to this place for a full set and 2 fills, in between fills 4 of my nails broke, I paid to fix 3 of them for an additional $3 each, by the fourth one I was I annoyed. I went in nicely and explaine...
Came to this place for a full set and 2 fills, in between fills 4 of my nails broke, I paid to fix 3 of them for an additional $3 each, by the fourth one I was I annoyed. I went in nicely and explained the problem, and was given numerous excuses of why they had broken. I hadn't even had the nails 1 month. They had the nerve to charge me $4 for the last nail. Needless to say I will never return here again.

Everything was fine when I went in..I got a gel fill...ONE day later my gel polish on all my nails is chipping.So I called to see if they could fix it since clearly this shouldn't be happening.I went in today.Lam looked at my nails because he did them and said"It's normal wear and tear it's ok" So I asked him to fix it and he told me " No normal wear and tear,I fix you pay"...I will NEVER go here again..I should of stuck with Le Nails.One day later Gel polish chipping on acrylic...NO!

I am so dissatisfied with the service here. I paid extra for a pedicure that's supposed to include a "massage" after 30 seconds of scratching me with her nails she finally gave up. I couldn't understand her at all. When I requested she use a specific tool to remove dead skin she insisted I didn't need it then refused to use it because she didn't want to. I just paid for someone to wash my feet and paint my nails. I could have done that at home.

This is my go-to place for pedicures. The inside of the place needs updating and a light dusting, but the quality of their work overrides that for me. They could definitely benefit by having a receptionist on Fridays/weekends (as they get busy and the technicians often have to stop in the middle of their work to take down appointments and such). The quality of the pedicure is by far the most thorough in the entire Newport News/Hampton area. Even if there's a wait, they will not sacrifice good work just to get through their waiting list, unlike several nail salons in the area. I've never had a manicure, but if you want a quality pedicure, go here. Would recommend going on an off day (Monday-Thursday) as they're pretty busy on Friday's and weekends.

So this place does a good job on acrylic and gel, pedis and manis. I am not complaining for their attention to detail when giving mani and pedis. I am more bothered by the wait. UNLESS APPOINTMENT is scheduled you will be waiting 45 minutes to an hour to be even given a source of attention. I went for a lip and chin wax and waited nearly an hour! That is ridiculous in my opinion, for waxing? No, not worth it. I'm sorry. I stayed anyway, hoping there would be a chance for someone to service on me. So be aware to schedule an appointment and being able to be patient.

I don't usually write reviews but, I feel that my experience with this place needs to it. I went in on a very busy Saturday afternoon. My daughter and I waited for about 30 mins before we were seated. Once we were seated we waited another 30 mins to receive services. I became annoyed while waiting, when I realized the massager on my chair wasn't working. I was even more annoyed when they sat me 2 seats away from my daughter (who is 7).
