I made an appointment to get a manicure and pedicure. They were very slow getting started. The lady didn't act like she wanted to be there working at all. My pedicure was good my manicure sucked. She talked me into trying the dip (I wanted the gel)...she used that dremmil tool looking thing to file my nails what felt like forever my nails are still sore. You can see where she did that even after the color and there are little black specks on some of my nails as well. My nails do not look very nice at all! Very disappointed and will not be going back. Went here a week ago and got a gel overlay on my natural nails. The woman who did my manicure was very nice and SUPER meticulous. I was in there for over an hour. Totally fine if it's a good job, but I left there with gel on my skin and a manicure that chipped on day 3. Here's what it looks like after just one week--normal wear and tear! My eyebrows look terrible. I will never go here again, no matter how desperate I am. The lady's hands smelled like cigarettes, she COMPLETELY overplucked one of my eyebrows, left wax all over my face that caused serious skin burns, and then had the nerve to charge $10. Thank you so much!!! I walked in pretty upset because of a horrible gel manicure I had just gotten. I was going to my high school reunion the next day and really wanted my nails to look good. The current manicure was hideous. The owner saw how upset I was and had me sit down immediately and helped me find the right colors then she got to work of removing the polish I had on. A nail tech, San, took over soon and carefully and meticulously got to work. He chatted and joked with the nail tech next to him and with me. He kept asking me how I was doing and if what he was doing was good. Soon he revealed that the owner told him about my problem and to make sure mine was exceptionally good. It was. Great care, a beautiful job (even repairing some horrible shaping from the other salon) and some laughter. Then I went to pay and she had given me a lower price because of the stress another salon had caused. Will go back!! Read Less

This was my first time here, everyone was very sweet. They seemed a little understaffed tho. One guy started my nails and another girl finished them. Seems like they get a lot of repeat customers bc the owner seemed to know everyone that walked in. They were very gentle when I got  new acrylic nails, my fingers don't hurt at all :) Read Less

Ok so the only reason I'm giving a 3 star is because they actually used to do a good job. I have talked them up & then went in to get a full set (it had been a year) and they didn't last. I got them don't and the day after they lifted. I went back for a fill (mistake) and they put me with a training guy who took forever and didn't tell me until half way through. Everyone else is very friendly and I have had a pedicure from two others that were also very good. This was one of my favorite spots to go for a pedicure because they did a great job. Well it is now under new management and the men are inexperienced. I had my nails done at Foxy Nails in Westchester last summer and the lady did a fantastic job! Loved the shellac. The color was perfect and it lasted about 4 weeks! I decided to go back again a few weeks ago to get the same thing.......NO GOOD!!!! I got a "Deluxe Pedicure" and a manicure with shellac. Ending up costing $60 (ridiculous price!)! My nail color was dark in some spots, light in other spots....the color was not even at all, and lasted less than 2 weeks! There were bubbles that I tried to show this person, but nothing was done to fix them other than a "wipe off/paint back on" which made it worse! I was completely disappointed. These folks are in a hurry, constantly looking at the front door and racing to get folks in and out. Pay attention to the customer in your chair that is paying you for your service! Stop talking to your co-workers so much!!!! Geez! I loved what I got last year, but this visit was a TOTAL let down. And, for that price, all I can say is "OUCH"!!! Read Less

My technician did not speak to me until she told me the price and asked if I was paying my tip in cash.  The rest of the time she talked to everyone else in Vietnamese.  She also cut my cuticle in 3 different places, didn't apologize, wear gloves or wipe the blood away.  I still have blood on my hand this morning.  This is a good salon if you don't care about cleanliness and want to be treated disrespectfully. This last time will be the last time I will ever use these people to do my nails! The gentlemen who did my nails refused to give me a basic manicure and took it upon himself to tell me he will give me a fill and I told him I want my nails to grow and do not want the shellac or anything else. He did not listen and went on to do a fill and said to me, "I make nail grow by doing this and come back in 2 weeks". So he told me more or less to make me fell like my nails will grow stronger!~ He had to file the old shellac off and when he did that my nails were throbbing he grind-ed so hard, that when I got home my nails hurt and throbbed for over a week! So I decided to stop using these people and got another nail place to take the fill off and give me a regular manicure. Low and Behold, I discovered my top nail, my real nails,completely down to the skin, no lie, and small cuts in a couple of the nails. Right now I am not using any nail color or anything and have to wait a couple months for my nails to be healthy once again! I could not believe how much pain I was in when I left there! I recommend no one use these people...they just do not care! Shellac nails, also called gel nails are very hard on your real nails and caused mine to be so weak and break so easy! Same with fill and nail tips! I will never use gel nails again! Presently I am using a protein based product called Nutra Nails and the product has all rave reviews, nails growing stronger and longer! I will be using the Nutra nails for the next couple of months until my nails heal! Read Less

I have been searching for a good nail salon since moving to (outside of) the Richmond area.  Unfortunately, Foxy Nails was unable to deliver.  I don't think that ever in my life have I had a pedicure chip in the first week - mind you that includes years of competitive swimming.  This pedicure was that rare exception.  On top of that, my gel manicure is chipping a week out as well.  The staff was nice and the location seemed clean, but it's going to cost me less to spend more elsewhere and only have to come in every 2 weeks.
