Very pretty place however I have not been impressed by the service or customer service. The young black girl at the front isn't friendly and the clientele has been boisterous and loud all 3 times I've been here. It is a cool place if you don't mind that. There is no website. Few people working had attitudes. The person on the phone had an attitude about my questions of services as if im a burden. Maybe if they displayed the service other than a risk walking into this place I wouldn't have to call and ask questions. The place is cute but there's literally nothing special about it. This was my first visit to The Nail Place and from the moment I walked into the door, I felt we should have gone elsewhere as each one of us received a less than welcoming greeting. A few of my bridesmaids and I went to have our nails done for my wedding. Since another salon we were scheduled to go to didn't work out, we called The Nail Place the day before we wanted to go to see if they'd be able to accommodate us. We were told yes, we made appointments, and provided all of ...the information requested about the services we were looking to receive. When we arrived, it was as if we had not talked to a soul. I explained that we had an appointment and were told we could get pedicures together and manicures/nail services. I was told to have a seat in a chair to wait for my nails because there weren't enough people to service us. I explained we had an appointment, but received an unpleasant response from the young lady who was assisting me. All of us were split up to receive our services and while we were pleased, for the most part, with our nails the horrible customer service made us all decide we won't be returning. It would have been nice to receive a phone call informing us that we wouldn't be able to be serviced at the same time due to staffing since we scheduled in advance vs. coming in and expecting one thing, but receiving another. If I could give 0 stars, I would. 5 hours after getting my nails done, one nail broke. When it broke it broke my natural nail and made me bleed. I came back asking them to fix it and they said that they could not while I was bleeding. He said that I must have hit it really hard for it to bleed, despite me telling him I didn't hit it that hard. I've been getting dip powder on my nails for 2 years and have never had something like this happen. Their customer service is awful and they don't even care about their customer satisfaction. I was refunded $5 for a nail and told to come back when it wasn't bleeding. I don't recommend anyone going here unless you what to be told you're wrong and getting shitty service. Read Less

The customer Service and work just don't match the price and how Beautiful this place is, I don't like to leave Low ratings or bad reviews, but I am a Store Manager and I am Big on Customer Service, they dont talk while they do your work, I had to ask for a foot massage while getting a pedicure and he wasn't pleased to do it, and I don't have bad feet I keep them done, and after my manicure I asked the man why he didn't put cuticle oil on my cuticles he said cause I didn't ask for it I spent $80 and had to ask for cuticle oil. I went to get a overlay and a pedicure.. the guy that did my pedicure cut my toenail down so much that it started to bleed.. then a different guy did my overlay, i accidentally smudge my nail getting it from under the UV light and asked if he could put a little paint over it. He caught a attitude saying "I don't have time to fix your nail" but after I talked about all the money I spent here he fixed it. Then I paid $7 each nail for designs I ended up paying for 2 and had to wait 1 hour and still wasn't done. So I got a refund. Then to add it all up Ithey are very clueless with the photos that is on their page.. I will not be returning here is so unsatisfied with my nails and the only thing I could do about is make a bad review. This place is my favorite! I have been coming here for about 5 months and I have never had a bad experience. In my opinion Sandy and Lyly are the best. Extremely rude! Place closes at 8, I got there at 7:40 for just a gel manicure and was turned away! Closing at 8, means that's what time the doors should close, or when u turn customers away, but no time before then! Very bad business practice, and extremely rude! Read Less

People who run this salon are super nice as are all the people working here. They are attentive and do not rush. Great customer service. Lots of repeat clients, including myself. Price is decent. Service...eh. I went with friends, and I just got the basic manicure with one solid coat of polish, the nail artist kept trying to push me getting fake nails (I have naturally grown long nails), getting my eyebrows done, getting special designs. I completely understand the need to sell more, but pushing constantly after I already say no to you twice is pushing it. Got one solid color and they had to redo my nails 3 or 4 times to get the polish to coat evenly and one nail doesn't even have top coat or the final coat of color. We went last Thursday, it is now Tuesday and my nail polish is already chipped to hell. If it wasn't for the fact that I went while on vacation I would say something about it. i go to five star all the timee. they are very affordable i know its 20 dollars for a pedicure and i think 15 for a manicure but if u get both its like 30 or something like that. the people there are VERY friendly and funny. the only thing i would change about it is they dont have the UV light (or whatever kind of lamp nail places use) to make the polish dry faster, they just have little fans so you have to sit and wait for you nails to dry which takes like 20 mins so you have to be patient. they do have magazines to look at while you wait which i get easily sucked into. esspecially around the time that the royal wedding was.
