My daughter and I have been going here for years, I've never called and made appointment until today. My appointment was scheduled for 5pm, I arrived at 445, the place was packed and it was a sign up sheet for of others who had appointments. No one ask if I had been seen or whatever so we left and went somewhere else . I'm sure they won't care because they are making money hand over foot anyway. ...literally . One of the best shops I've been to. They have an enormous selection of gel and dip manicure colors. Other shops have decent selections, but this shop takes the cake! The staff is always pleasant and helpful with color suggestions or nail care tips. My mother, my aunt, and I typically frequent the shop together, and they are always happy to accomodate all three of us and have our appointments sync up. This place exceeded my expectations, I went it to get a shape and gel manicure with a tough design in mind, I was a tough customer, and it took THREE girls to work on the shape that I wanted, they were patient and nice the whole time, and my nails came out exactly how I had pictured them in my head I love them! This is probably my favorite nail spot around Richmond. They are reasonably priced and my mani/pedi lasts longer after going here then any other salon I've been to. The salon is a decently sized space which is great because a lot of places will cram you in like sardines. It's nice not to feel like you're on top of the other patrons. I went in for full set acrylic nails representative asked how long I stated not too short. When she showed the length it was good but tgen she filed them lower. The en result my nails are as long as they were when I went in. She should have just put acrylic on my own nails. Very disappointed with tgem. Plus she was very messy with the glue. Wow. I walked in for a manicure. Seemed pretty busy. Thought that must be a good sign. Gave me to a lady named Kim. Told her I was new @ this and excited to be here. She said nothing. She finally spoke and asked me "You don't want trim, do you?" I replied, I don't know, what do you think?" She said, "They're your nails." She wouldn't talk to me or make eye contact. It was extraordinarily disrespectful, awkward &  oh yes, the manicure left much to be desired. The gel doesn't go back to the cuticle and it looks like it's al ready @ least a week & 1/2 old. It's only been 3 days. Showed a couple of my coworkers and family that get regular manicures. They thought it looked very amateur, especially w/the debris that was apparently in the brush or polish. I paid to upgrade to the gel. I paid. I left. I won't be back.UPDATE:Owner/Mgr reached out and offered complimentary services and a sincere apology. I reluctantly took her up on her offer. My friend and I had no chip manicures and pedicures done today by Liz and Lisa and are very impressed with our end results! Even though it was nearing closing time when we came in, we never felt rushed. These ladies were accommodating, extremely thorough, and more than precise! A true nail artist, Liz took her personal nail brush out of her bag and used it on my friend in order to give her the design she wanted.Read Less
