Amazing service. There are so many reasons why I loved my visit today. -My appointment was at 2. It started at 2. She had everything done (dye, wash, blow dry, flat iron, and trim) in only 2 hours. ...
Amazing service. There are so many reasons why I loved my visit today. -My appointment was at 2. It started at 2. She had everything done (dye, wash, blow dry, flat iron, and trim) in only 2 hours. -I have really thick, coarse, and curly hair. Jayme made sure while she was applying the dye and sectioning it that she wasn’t tugging or hurting me. -The shop is welcoming and so are the staff -Shampoo chair has an ottoman. ... -Jayme gave me excellent tips to maintain the flat iron job that she did and I felt so comfortable with any suggestions she made during the appointment in regards to color and trim length. All in all I was blown away with everything and let it be known I’m pretty picky when it comes to my hair. I can’t wait to book another appointment with her and I love supporting locally owned business. See More

Gave a one star due to management being rude. I went to see my stylist and was told that she was no longer there but the chick was so rude. Didn't offer any information to me or ask if there was something that she could do. I will never step foot in this establishment again. Don't go there at all. Rude as hell.

I love Monica and Jayme for opening their doors to me when my old salon decided to close their doors over a year ago. This has been the best year of work I've had in a very long time. I have loved the freedom and I especially love watching Jayme and Monica do their thing with extensions, which just fascinates me as a stylist. Love these working with these ladies and my pal Christian!!! Here's to many more years to come to providing great hair to the Manassas area!!! Xoxo

WORST haircut ever. Wrong cut for my type of hair. I asked to have my layers and bangs to be tapered and asked for no razoring. Monica squared my layers and bangs and razored my hair. Because of the thickness of my hair, my bangs jets out at the side (very unnatural). The only thing that looks healthy about my hair are the parts she didn't touch. Because of the razoring, my shoulders, neck and face is constantly being pricked by my hair. It will probably take over a year to get rid of this mess. BTW...this place is so dirty looking.

I love this place! I have very fine, thin hair, so it's really important that I get a good cut (because there's no room for error). Not all stylists know what short styles work best for my kind of hair. But, Jayme is amazing! She has always recommended and given me styles that make my hair look much fuller than it really is. I get a lot of compliments on my hair, now and it's all because of Jayme. Jayme also tries hard to accommodate my schedule -- I can usually get an appointment as soon as I need one. I've recommended this salon to several of my friends, and they've all been happy with the services they've received. It's a nice salon, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend MJ Salon and Color Group!

This was my first time seeing my favorite stylist, Christian, in his new location. Easy to get to, lots of parking, nice facility. Definitely worth the extr time it takes me to get there.

I made an appointment 3 weeks in advance and when I showed up the nail tech asked if I could come back an hour later. She laughed it off and said she meant to call me earlier in the day. Very unprofessional. The business had a plate of half eaten food in the window on the way into business. Would not recommend to anyone. There are so many other nail places in the area that are professional and will honor appointments.

The minute you walk into MJ Salon and Color the ladies at the front desk are extremely polite, and very accommodating. She immediately asked if I wanted anything to drink while I waited.
My stylist, Monica is incredible. She listens to my wants, but also is smart enough to tell me her thoughts on what would be best for my hair. I have followed her for years and you know what its true your hair stylist becomes one of your closest and dearest friends.
All the staff at MJ Salon and Color are amazing. If Monica isn't available then Jayme is my go to while she is away.
Thank you ladies for always making me feel fantastic when I walk out your doors.

I have been going to one of the owners of MJ salon since she was doing hair out of her own house. I love the new salon and the friendly atmosphere. I feel like I can relax and after going to Jayme once she always knows what colors to mix and how to do my hair without telling her each time. It is nice to not worry about someone messing up your color, it is perfect every time! Fun group of people who make you feel at home and you come out looking wonderful!

One word ~ FINALLY!!!!! Finally I have found a place that I absolutely love for my hair. Jayme is the best!!! All of the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the entire salon is clean and comfortable. I have been going to Jayme for the past year and get the Brazilian Blowout, it's absolutely fantastic and she is amazing! I won't waste my money or time ever going anywhere else...customer for life! :)

Amazing service. There are so many reasons why I loved my visit today. -My appointment was at 2. It started at 2. WORST haircut ever. Wrong cut for my type of hair. I asked to have my layers and bangs to be tapered and asked for no razoring. Monica squared my layers and bangs and razored my hair. I love this place! I have very fine, thin hair, so it's really important that I get a good cut (because there's no room for error). Not all stylists know what short styles work best for my kind of hair. But, Jayme is amazing! She has always recommended and given me styles that make my hair look much fuller than it really is. I get a lot of compliments on my hair, now and it's all because of Jayme. Jayme also tries hard to accommodate my schedule -- I can usually get an appointment as soon as I need one. I've recommended this salon to several of my friends, and they've all been happy with the services they've received. It's a nice salon, and the staff is very friendly. I have been going to one of the owners of MJ salon since she was doing hair out of her own house. I love the new salon and the friendly atmosphere. I feel like I can relax and after going to Jayme once she always knows what colors to mix and how to do my hair without telling her each time.
