I adore getting a pedicure. Let's face it, who doesn't right? I've been going to one spot for years when a friend told me about The Ultimate Rescue Pedicure at Spa 4109 I knew I had to try it. Carla couldn't stop raving about what a wonderful time she had while there. I did some browsing on their website and booked the appointment. I was treated to a luxurious experience. Today I had my first facial at Spa 4109 and I just can’t believe I waited so long to get it!! The customer service was amazing, the robe I got to wear was comfortable, the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing and then the best part, Kathleen gave me an amazing facial and massage and I did NOT want it to end! I left feeling like I had brand new skin on my face and I never felt so relaxed! It was just what I desperately needed with everything that’s going on right now. Spa 4109 is hands down the best spa in Central Virginia! Joe Ellen has done all of my waxing services for years and Jeannie did my makeup for my wedding and it was absolutely perfect! I got a horrible airbrush tan here. The lady was extremely sweet but when I woke up the next day my skin was the strangest color. My hands and feet were spotted with orange everywhere. It came off in 3 days and left terrible spots on my entire body. Read Less

Was so happy to find this Spa to use for my wedding day! They were even available to fit me in on a Monday, a day they aren't normally open (for an additional nomial fee), to be able to do my hair and make up trial $155 total I paid. Everything seemed to be going great! I was originally quoted $100 per technician for travel fees. Later after receiving a formal contract, which was never previously sent I was told that "the front desk that quoted you the travel fee, (which was not Jill or Jeanine), was not from this area." And that the fee would now be MUCH MUCH higher, I'm talking hundreds of $$$ difference. No compensation or negotiation was offered. Unprofessional. Read Less

I used Spa 4109 for my bridal hair & makeup along with my 4 bridesmaids. We had a wonderful experience and everyone looked great! They had easy paperwork to fill out at the time of booking to go over all of the details so it was clear what services would be needed. They were very accommodating when I decided to add more services about a month before the event. I chose to do a trial beforehand so I could meet Lara and Jeanine who would be doing my hair and makeup. The day of t...he wedding was stress-free after doing the trial and, they made sure timing was perfect so we could leave on time to get to the venue. It was rainy on our wedding day & my hair and makeup both still looked perfect at the end of the night after being outside part of the day. The airbrush makeup looked & felt great on. I got a personalized facial at this spa and was very impressed. The place itself was very nice and there were a lot of amenities, like a locker, changing room, robe, and heated bed and blanket. Can't remember the name of my facialist but she took the time to listen to my skin concerns. The facial was very thorough and felt like my skin had been properly cleaned and treated. Not to mention my skin looked amazing for the next few weeks and I received many compliments. It is a bit pricey, but I now know it is definitely worth it after being to a few different places in Lynchburg and being totally unimpressed. I would come back and recommend. Read Less

The overall feel of SPA 4109 is amazing. It is so relaxing, and it really feels like a retreat. I had my hair done by Kate recently ... she even offered to do a consultation, so when I took the big plunge to cut my hair, I was 100% happy with it (and still loving it!). I also recently went to an event for their makeup line and learned some new tips along with finally finding a concealer and foundation that are perfect for me while being healthy for my skin. I also had a facial by Joellen a while back, and I felt pampered and refreshed along with leaving with beautiful skin. As a sidebar, each time I go to SPA 4109, they ask if I would like a beverage ... my choice is coffee, and they know exactly how I like it. That's definitely an added bonus. Wow...this is a place to visit while you are in Lynchburg. I cannot get over what a great store this is. I love the clothing and then the spa in the lower level. I cannot believe it.
