I went here with a friend by her recommendation. The place is clean and spacious. It was furnished and outfitted like any other nail place in the area. I was a walk-in for a mani/pedi, and did not have to wait, which was nice. For my pedicure, I paid more than i usually do ($32) but the hot paraffin wax is nice touch. It was your average pedicure, very nice and relaxing. But, the lady who did my pedicure picked one of my toenails until it bled, but not enough to require a bandage or anything. I also had a gel manicure ($30) and also included the hot paraffin wax. A different lady did my manicure and she seemed to be having a bad day. She kept huffing and puffing if I moved in a little bit, and would tell me "do not move." For record, I have had many manicures, I don't really label myself "fidgety" to be told to not move so much. The entire time she did my manicure, she kept turning her head to look at the door, which in turn caused me to turn and look at the door, and then she would get mad if I moved. While doing my cuticles, she also made one my fingers bleed. It was enough that she had to have me wash my hands off, and it is still sensitive a day later. In addition, these ladies tried hard to speak English, but were difficult to understand and had a harder time understanding me. Paying was a challenge, as I tried to leave a tip, and the cashier was very confused. I ended up leaving it on my card, which I did not plan on doing. I won't be going back. Worst manicure ever! I went in on Monday with my sister for a gel manicure. The owner asked two lady's to do the manicure, the lady who did mine took 15 minutes. My nails looked so bad the gel was the over my cuticles and under my nails there was so many air bubbles and the worst she didn't remove my cuticles. The job she did was the worst I could have done a better job. Very disappointed and my gel is already coming off since there is so many air bubbles. Serenity nails in Ashburn is way better. I've given this location numerous tries since it's close to where I live. But I've had it with them now, honestly. The customer service is terrible. I've been there about 5 or 6 times, and not one time was it worth my money. Take your business elsewhere. Read Less

This place is great and very professional. Being Vietnames myself, I appreciate the fact that the lady who gave me my pedicure and manicure did a wonderful job. She didn't ask me nosey questions and best of all she didn't speak Vietnamese to her coworkers and talk smack about their clients. I came in for a mani and pedi. This is by far the worst nail place I've ever been to in my entire life. I decided to go and try them since hubby had to do something near by and this place is just horrible.If you are getting a mani, make sure you don't get screwed! So pay for just polish and I'll explain why: It started with David, he went on and on about their shellac polish and I said no about 3x. He also tried charging me $46 as oppose to $41, which is what I was quoted over the phone. He then took about 3 mins to do both hands and barely went around cuticles. He is awful and polish job was terrible. So, I decided to just stop and not let them do my toes. I asked to speak to manager and he said it was him, doubt it. I expressed to him that he didn't give me a mani whatsoever, what he did do was put my hands in a bowl of water, took 3 mins to do both hands, barely filed them and then went on to polish them quick. I always come here to get pedicures. They are wonderful, and they know how to pamper peoples feet. The spa pedicure is really luxurious, and the employees are super friendly. The parking lot is a little small that's the only downside but I wouldrefer people here they want to get a nice relaxing pedicure. Read Less

I found Lily....and Kathy owns the place. (Both are local to other local salons- most recently, Lansdowne). This nail salon is where you need to go for the mani/pedi combo that is not only cost effective, but delivered from a team of friendly employees who recognize and remember you. Paraffin is included in both "regular" services (not an upcharge that our friends at Lansdowne were famous for), and the entire pedicure will last at least 45 minutes. Have been there 3 times, and my pedis have lasted well over 3 weeks. Call to make an appointment if it's a weekend- they have 8 pedi chairs, but word is spreading that they're a good place to go. Avoid the "20 minute" wait that often can turn into 40 minutes at these kind of places. Read Less

I have been to this salon before, but honestly couldn't recall if it was a good experience or a bad one.  I typically go to a salon in Sterling, but today I didn't feel like driving there, and I desperately needed to have my nails redone.  So my daughter and I headed out to find a salon in Leesburg, and opted for Precious Nail and Spa.The overall rating is an "average"  of our two experiences.  I would rate mine a 4, hers a 2.  The nail tech makes a huge difference.  We visited on a Friday afternoon and walked in and were taken back within minutes.  I actually felt a bit rushed to choose a nail color.  I got a spa mani (with gel) / Pedi.  It was relaxing, my nails look great, the tech was nice... all was well.My daughter had to wait a bit, but she was perfectly content doing so with her feet soaking while she sat in the massage chair.  The gal that came to do her nails seemed... well, disappointed.  I wondered if it is because they don't make much on a child.  My daughter had chosen 2 paint colors, she wanted every other nail painted in alternating colors, which she explained, but the tech - we think her name was Tina or Tia - must not have understood.  She began to paint my daughter's toe nails and she did one foot in all one color.  When I noticed this, I stopped her and explained what my 10 yr old had wanted.  She was visibility irritated as if my daughter had some how done something wrong.  It wasn't a big deal... two small nails needed to be redone... she'd only done one coat.  Seriously, it took a minute to fix.  But the attitude!  I was really bothered by it.  Eventually my daughter's feet and fingers were done, to her satisfaction, although the tech had made errors, and wiped off the "excess" polish onto her skin.  It's not a big deal, as we can deal with that at home, but we shouldn't have to.The saving grace is that Tammy, when she was done with my nails (my services took longer than my daughters) offered to paint flowers on my daughters nails - at no charge.  My daughter was delighted, and even convinced me to get flowers on my big toes... which are totally cute.Tammy got a very nice tip.... Worst gel manicure. he didn't even paint each hand an equal amount of times, didn't put a top coat and still charged me the normal $30 dollars.  I picked a certain color to match a dress for a wedding and they gave me a whole different color but insisted it was the same. They started chipping a day later, i couldn't go back and ask for it to be fixed because I had to go out of town and feel it was a wasted $30 on a crappy manicure.  I will not go back here again. I have never written a review before, but after today's encounter with this salon, I felt as though I had to write a review, as my experience here was terrible!  First, I called to see if they did shellac, as I am going away for the holidays and wanted something that would last.  They told me they did, but when I got there, I realized that they do 'gel', whih after today I realize is NOT the same thing!  After being rushed to pick a color (I wanted a dark grey and couldn't find one, so the lady picked up a brown and told me 'I'd love it').  I then had the quickest pedicure that I've ever had, honestly like 15 minutes.  I then spent roughly an hour having my 'gel' nails done, and then taken off, then re done, etc.  I finally paid my bill, got to my car, and the paint had come off of half of my pointer finger!  So I had Togo back in for another 20 minutes while two different people 'tried' to make it look ok.  In the end I left with nails that looked like a 4th grader painted them (paint all over the skin and bumpy), and by the time I got ready for bed, 2 of the nails have chipped off!  I would never suggest this nail salon to anyone , they were pushing people around like cattle in there!Go else where! I've been going to these women for years since they opened their first nail & spa place in Leesburg. I always get my eye brows waxed from them and any one of them do an exceptional job especially since I get nervous every time I have that done. All of my family get pedicures there (even my dad)! They are all very nice and I think of all the places I have been for pedicures and manicures they are the best. They do an extremely thorough job and I really love the atmosphere of the place.
