I have been going here for the last couple of months and have been very happy with the results every time. I go every two weeks for a fill and have also gotten a pedicure here. I have had work done by a few different technicians and have been pleased with the outcome each time. No matter if the salon is busy or quiet, they take their time to ensure a quality job. Nope. Never again. Just tried this place for the first time and I won't be back. I got a gel manicure and was rushed to pick out my color. Got seated at a station with a dirty looking towel and a box of open dirty tools that were already there (see photo). The tools were so nasty looking that I almost walked out. What's worse is that what I feared happening with the dirty tools happened --- she cut me when she was cutting my cuticles. Did she acknowledge it? No. She noticed about a minute later and got a dropper of blue liquid and put that on it. I asked if that was antiseptic. She couldn't understand what I was saying (language barrier). I said "is that alcohol / cleaner?" She giggled and said no and showed me the bottle, so I assume she still didn't understand. I still don't know what the blue liquid was. Overall, that would've ruined it for me even if the manicure had been good, but it wasn't. Despite going to town on my cuticles to the point where one bled, they still look like shit and I'll have to fix them myself. Price was $30 and I tipped $5. Grrrrrr. Read Less

Glamour nails is not that great but decent when you're in a pinch.  They happily accept walk-ins and I've never had to wait. Prices are competitive but you definitely get what you pay for.  Their filing is uneven and the hand or foot massage with the mani pedi is almost non-existent.  Employees are not overly friendly or welcoming either.   The atmosphere is a little dated and doesn't appear to be too clean.  They do a decent job on painting but overall, nothing special. I remember I came here 3 years ago and it was a decent experience. But I went here this week and the only thing I liked here was the color I picked. The prices are competitive so you'd expect a good service but nope. Not here. I had a mani pedi and I asked her to cut my nails and she cut only the nail of the big toe?! Than she kept the water so hot I thought she was steaming my feet. I even told her it was too hot but to no reaction. The massage was the lousiest I ever had. She was just sliding her hands over my feet and watching TV. That too using three fingers. My three year old niece could do a better job. I was so disappointed. This place is extremely dirty!! I was watching technicians all the time when i was waiting to get my manicure, they DON'T sterilize tools! No proper ventilation, this place has very strong smell of acrylic. Staff was yelling entire time in between on vietnamese or whatever language. Awful, awful, awful!!  Let's start with the cleanliness, or lack thereof.  I don't believe they properly clean their tools, if at all.  One time when I went to wash my hands in their sink, I saw a roach and almost jumped out of my skin.   I told an employee and she just shrugged and picked it up with a piece of toilet paper.  Since there was no other place nearby that I knew of, I continued going there (always making sure to make sure my purse was closed securely so no roaches would get in).  I go for pink/white fill-ins.  There are only certain employees that do pink/white so if you don't have an appointment you could be waiting quite a while.  The one girl (can't recall her name) that usually does my pink/white fills does an awful job.  One, she cuts me.  Two, my nails usually go a week to 10 days before at least 1 falls off.  One time, I had a nail fall off in 4 days....I went there and explained and they still charged me FIVE dollars to repair.  I am not hard on my hands so there is no reason for this.  The final straw is when I got my nails done about a week before going on vacation and the day before leaving, THREE nails fell off.  WILL NOT GO BACK!!! I used to work right by this place and would come here on my lunch break to get my nails done. They always try to get me to buy the gel, just like any other nail place, but I like to stick to my natural nails and they don't push. No matter who I get, they do a consistently amazing job. My nails will last at least 2 weeks without even chipping. I no longer work near here, but I still make the 20 minute drive out there because they are just that good. Read Less

Wow. I can't believe I am the first review about the terrible hygiene of this place. I went in this afternoon for a pedicure, came out with a terrible paint job (which is the least of my worries at this point) and within a few hours later my pinky toe nail is falling off completely from the nail bedding. I wasn't 100% sure that the woman used clean tools and now I for certain she did not! After coming home and completely freaking out about this possible nail fungus, I replayed the events in my head and realized no tech cleaned the tub next to me after one woman got out and another got in.. Seriously I can believe it..going to the doctors tomorrow to confirm and get prescription treatment bc I hear these funguses are extremely hard to kill. Don't let their cheap prices fool you! I am picky about pink and white and this review is only for that service. I didn't get the technicians name but she took a long time and didn't really listen to my requests. The end result came out great looking from far away but there is a lot of acrylic left around my nails and they are thicker than I am used to. The price was average. The time was longer than average. I go to Glamour Nails because it is close to my home and the staff are friendly. I see Ann for my regular manicure. She is fast and does a great jog trimming my cuticles. is also easy to get an appointment.  I would give Ann a 5 and the salon a 4 because It  is sometimes loud between the television and talk among employees.Lisa S. They are disorganized, talk loudly to one another instead of concentrating on the manicure, and then to top it off give a bad manicure experience. They cut your cuticles way too much, so I already have lots of hang nails and breaks in my cuticle, take over an hour to apply shellac, and 3 days later its already coming off. I will not be coming here again since they have worn my patience thin.  I have been here many times and each time its been worse. Waste of time and money! I've been here a few times as a walk-in because it's conveniently located next to my work.  The last time I went I got a shellac french manicure and I've received so many compliments on how they look.  They've lasted for over three weeks (yeah, I've been lazy with getting it taken off but still- wow!) and it was only $35.  I've been to salons where $35 was the price for just colored shellac, not the fancier french.  I'm definitely going back for when I'm a bridesmaid in a few weeks- I know they'll last through the wedding weekend and then-some. Been here 2xs b/c it's cheap & local.  Both times got a mani & pedi & Both times dissatisfied.  First time had a male manicurist It was pain stakenly long (2 and a half or three hours!!!).  2nd time TODAY - quicker and a female... the pedi looks nice BUT the FRENCH manicure SUCKS!!! she trimmed my nails too short & I said rounded AND I got SQUARED.  OH the aggregation!!! I've been going to Glamour Nails for about 6 months now to get gel manicures. Gel polish is supposed to last two weeks, but the last few times I've gone the polish has completely peeled off within one week. This is unacceptable when I'm paying $40 for a manicure! I asked the lady doing my nails why this was happening and she just shrugged.I did some research and from what I can deduce, this is happening because they are not doing the application correctly. Even though this is the most convenient salon for me to go to, I've had to switch since I had this problem at least 3 or 4 times. I will say that the employees at Glamour Nails are very nice and I would recommend this salon for regular manicures, acrylic tips or pedicures. I get my nails done here (PINK AND WHITE). Being the most expensive of the fake nails, it is pricey (50-full set, 35-filling).  But I go three weeks between fillings and they look fantastic! ASK FOR TRACY if your looking to get this done. She does not rush, shes precise, and communicates very well.  I never get anything else done, but if you are looking for very nice acrylics, for an event or everyday, this salons the place, make sure to ask for Tracy.
