If you’re black don’t waste your time going here. I called a little after 10am and asked if I could be waited on as soon as I got there. I was 1 mile away and told the person answering the phone this. The lady said that was fine and she’d see me in 15 minuets. I went straight there. They were all busy, which I understand because it’s a Friday. So I waited. Probably less than 15 minutes later a technician told me she’d wait on me and directed me to her spot. So I sit down and she’s still getting herself together. After a minute or so she tells me someone else can wait on me soon. Seems she wanted to do something else. Honestly I had really high hopes based on the reviews. This place had 4 1/2 stars... first off I paid for a regular pedi which is supposed to take 30 min, it took may half that, he didn't file mu nails good, my feet didn't soak long before he started cleaning my cuticles, and he didn't scrub my feet. The polish on my toes looks uneven like did it myself. My hands weren't better, he didn't soak my fingers before he started trying to remove cuticles, he nicked me and my finger bled the rest of the time, the polish is aging uneven. The store it's self is a bit old and could use an upgrade. Most importantly it needs to be cleaned. I dropped my purse on the floor after my nails were done and it was filthy. They have not swept the floor in probably a month. It's one thing to go in at the end of the day on a sat or sun but 2 hours after opening on a weekday, the floor should not be that dirty. I've been going to 7 Nails & Spa religiously for about a year now. They've recently hired a new woman, whom I've had the past 2 times in TWO WEEKS because both my liquid gel and regular gel manis wouldn't stay on my nails without chipping. I've been getting gel (and recently, liquid gel) every time I come here because they always last 3-4 weeks and typically turn out amazing, but I won't be coming back. The woman ceased to acknowledge the fact that I've been back twice in two weeks and have spent $60+ on 2 nail appointments that could have gotten me through 2 months. Read Less

Tiana was very personal. She had a fluent conversation with me. I enjoyed her vibrant personality at 7pm. With that said, she did an expedient and professional job on my gel mani/pedi. And she's a great sales woman to convince me to get gel polish for a long lasting wear. She even asked her boss to give me the first-time visitors 10% discount. I don't get my nails done often, but when I do, I come to 7Nails. I've had my nails done here with multiple people from this salon and each one has looked great and lasted a long time. I have been to other places that do French gel manicures and apply so much gel that my nails are so thick afterwards it feels very unnatural. Every time I've gotten them done here, they are the perfect thickness without feeling like they are a piece of cardboard stuck to my nails. The pedicures are also great. I love the smell of the exfoliating stuff they use for the pedicures. I highly recommend this nail salon and love coming here knowing that no matter who does my nails, I will be happy. I once got my nails done at a Tysons salon due to circumstance and the pedicure wasn't good and it made me realize how much I love this salon. Read Less

Ethan. He is absolutely amazing. He has such a gentle touch but also gets the job done. I dont even like getting pedicures done but he made it relaxing and enjoyable. I am so impressed. First time was good! A male technician did my nails and feet. The shape was perfect. He was fast and efficient. He didn't talk much but I'm ok with that. I'm usually just trying to get in and out.Second time was awful. A female technician did my nails. I needed a French manicure for a wedding that I am in this weekend. She didn't file the previous gel color off of my nails so you can see it currently on the sides of my nails. My polish is wrinkling at the tips. And started chipping two days after. When I showed her that it was wrinkled she told me that she didn't see it. After convincing her that it was indeed wrinkled she said she would put a clear coat on top. Putting a clear coat on top wasn't going to fix the awful job that she did. So I told her that I didn't have time for her to do my entire gel manicure over. She did offer for me to come back the next day which is why she isn't getting 1 star. But coming back to Herndon on my day off was not feasible for me. Read Less

I was looking for a place to go with my sister and her 4 year old daughter. I saw the good reviews and visited their website. They also listed pricings for kids, so it looked perfect. I called to make a reservation, and the woman on the phone was very enthusiastic and friendly. The inside of the store has a very nice layout.My sister and I got spa pedicures and her daughter had her fingers and toes painted. The woman attending to my niece was very sweet and chatted away with her. It was adorable!The scrub included in the spa package was wonderful. I chose the mango scent. I was initially concerned because my skin can be sensitive to lotions, but it was no problem at all and my skin was so smooth and moisturized afterward. The callus treatment was great as well. My sister also got her eyebrows waxed. She loved it and plans on coming back and bringing along more people she knows. She also said she wants to try a facial. I definitely would come back, but I'm visiting from out of town!Unfortunately I forgot to ask for the ladies' names to include in this review, but suffice it to say it was a great experience! I've been to this salon maybe one or two other times before and had positive experiences; so I stopped by again since I was in the area and wanted be well polished for a wedding. My tech was Rita. She is so sweet! And did a hella good job with my gel mani/pedi ($72); photos are proof. She made me feel relaxed, comfortable, and did not rush me at all with nail color selection - which I appreciate tremendously, since I'm so indecisive. Massage chairs are decent. Definitely would recommend this place! Prices are really fair and all visits, I've had quality work. I did make an appointment at 2pm on a Friday and right when I was finishing up it got busy. They accept card but bring cash for (the well deserved) tips! Ambiance is not the most spa-like, but service is great! Read Less

This place is absolutely disgusting. They do a terrible job and overcharge. They told us one price and charged us a lot more than what they quoted. Five Stars for Peter! I just got back from the salon and couldn't wait to rave about this place! Peter took care of and he was fast and efficient and I was so impressed how clean my nails looked! I am now Vacay ready!!! I am super picky when it comes to manicures and Pedi some technicians rush the process and not clean your nails well. There is no better spot in Herndon to turn your gnarly claws back to beautiful, human nails. I've been here twice now-- both times with Christine and she is as good as it gets (Sorry Kelly in Bethesda, still love you but can't make it out there anymore :( ). My nails come out nicely shaped and evenly painted-- my current set of gel mani and regular pedi is going 3 weeks strong. There is no snarky side-eye and chatter when I just ask for a polish change even as my cuticles are just starting to grow back. The ladies are also super nice about getting you exactly what you want out of the binder ring of overwhelming palette selections. There's a loyalty card for repeat customers, so definitely ask for it when you check out-- I lost out on my points during my first visit and can't get it back :(This spot is clean and welcoming. The technicians are friendly. Parking is plentiful. They have the piano rendition of "In the End " playing overhead. What more can you ask for? Definitely recommend :) Read Less

I just got my nails done on Thursday and on top of the man hurting me and being rough two of my nails broke ALREADY! Never have I had this issue in the worst of nail salons. I noticed everyone in there asked for a certain female tech. If I ever, which I highly doubt, go back I'll go for her only!!! Read Less
