Before second top, I checked the polish but still flat so I said to her , but she said “you have to say before coating..” How do I know ...after coating Technician cannot fix it ;;;; . Even she did not ask me “is it okay “ , too.
Also, i finished the gel nail and paid $25 . I tried to pay groupon ticket price. Becuase when I got a reservation, i asked price match (I asked “if I will go there without groupon ticket, can you do me polished same price? And a employee said yes . So I checked the totally price and i got appointment in there. However, Tina said we cannot do that . But i gave you my honor something like that . I felt why she gave me honor;;;;;;; This is my fault????? I don’t think so . So I said i donot need your honor and your staff had a mistake so you have to check and say with your staff not me . We argured a lot in store . At last, she said “get out of my store;;;;;;;;;;;;” to me;;;;;;
I'm so upset about her work and attitude. If you do not want to mess up your mind and also nail, you'd better find other nail salon!!! I strongly discourage you to go this place.

Amazing nail place!! I have been all over Richmond trying nail spots but this one blew my mind! The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive! I came with some friends and they were able to take all 3 of us! They were extremely patient and professional, not to mention they did an amazing job with our nails!! Very comfortable atmosphere as well, this will be my new go to place, can't wait to tell more friends and family about it!

My initial rating leaving the salon was five stars. I was able to make an appointment over the phone easily and was thrilled that all the technicians spoke English. I got a regular manicure and one nail repair. It was fascinating watching her put the tip on the very end of the broken nail and build it up with the powder (I don't get manicures often, give me a break). I didn't like the color I picked after the first coat, so she found a darker version and we went with that instead. The salon was clean and bright and my technician was very pleasant.However, the next day I realized that the quick drying top coat had shrank by a millimeter or two on every nail - it looked terrible! I just got engaged and got my nails done knowing my fiance and I would be seeing over thirty people at Thanksgiving and I'd be showing my ring off. I was embarrassed every time someone asked to look at my ring because of my nails.I have no doubt that this salon would be great if you were getting a gel or shellac manicure, but I won't be back for a regular one.

Best gel manicure ever! They're current on new polish collections, the environment is clean, and the staff take their time to make it a great experience. I wasn't rushed out of the door like other salons. The interior was modern and plush and the ambiance was current and up to date with current and popular music. The staff is diverse and they all speak fluent English which is a major plus when getting you're nails done. Everything about the experience was perfect and my nails turned out great.

I've tried almost all the nail salons in the Gold Coast and new age has become my regular nail salon. My no chip lasts two weeks with no chipping. I've had almost everyone do my nails and will say some are better then others so I think new age should make sure everyone is on the same page which I why I have a 4 star and not a 5. But majority of the women are very good. They serve wine as well which is always a plus and the shoulder massage is a nice added gesture.

Have been going since they opened, and today had a terrible experience. Hope it's not the new norm -- especially since they raised their rates, and now a mani/pedi + tip is about $70.

Very nice place! I had a gift card for a gel manicure and a pedicure and it was very relaxing. They played good music that wasn't to loud and the seating was very comfortable and attractive. (Which is hard for me to get comfortable since I'm 37 weeks pregnant). Keisha was my nail technician and she was very easy to talk to and very nice! My nails and toes look fabulous! I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be back!

I've had a pedicure and a gel nail manicure here. Each time I was very pleased with the service and the technician was really friendly and we always had a good conversation (which makes it way less awkward for me, as I'm really uncomfortable with these kinds of things.) I don't get my nails done very often, but I will be returning to this place!Environment is clean and nice. They also have a store pet, which I've seen the bed for but never actually seen the animal..haha

I popped in for a spontaneous shellac manicure (my first one). The salon was clean and neat with friendly staff. They are going for a higher end look by using white furniture with faux hardwood floors and grey walls. However, the furniture is cheap and showing it's age. But, that isn't too important considering I am here for a manicure not buying furniture. Anyway... It took longer than expected for my manicure, but the extra time was due to making sure everything was perfect, so it was okay.All in all I would recommend the Polish Nail Lounge.

Atmosphere - okProducts - goodCustomer service - NOT GOOD I had a groupon for a manicure - the tech that did it was straight up rude and cold. While all the other patrons were happily chatting with their workers, my gal - "Heaven" - spoke (in a very emphatic tone) the following three phrases to me:1. RELAX YOUR HANDS, you'e making my job HARDER!!2. LAY YOUR HAND FLAT, THE POLISH MOVES (when I picked up my hand to inspect how she'd painted my nails)3. GO Wash your hands.She was really odd - it really made me uncomfortable. It was like she was pissed off to be doing my manicure....she literally made no attempt at small talk and just sang out loud to herself while she did my nails. bottom line - IF I came back (which I probably won't) I'll make sure she isn't the one that does my nails. But my money is more deserved at other places like Mango, Red Door, or VA Nails where you get friendliness with your manicure....:)!

Very nice place! I had a gift card for a gel manicure and a pedicure and it was very relaxing. They played good music that wasn't to loud and the seating was very comfortable and attractive. It's a very pretty place.. different decoration with white couches.. however i still prefer the massaging chairs...the girl that did my manicure was very unexperienced... she took SOOO LONG!! and i decided to do shellac manicure and she didn't even know how to do it.. they had to call another girl to do my mani, so i had to wait for her to finish with another client...Price is good but my mani and pedi looks like if i was the one who did it:Sdeff trying a new place...

I popped in for a spontaneous shellac manicure (my first one). The salon was clean and neat with friendly staff. They are going for a higher end look by using white furniture with faux hardwood floors and grey walls. However, the furniture is cheap and showing it's age. But, that isn't too important considering I am here for a manicure not buying furniture. Anyway... It took longer than expected for my manicure, but the extra time was due to making sure everything was perfect, so it was okay.All in all I would recommend the Polish Nail Lounge.

Atmosphere - okProducts - goodCustomer service - NOT GOOD I had a groupon for a manicure - the tech that did it was straight up rude and cold. While all the other patrons were happily chatting with their workers, my gal - "Heaven" - spoke (in a very emphatic tone) the following three phrases to me:1. RELAX YOUR HANDS, you'e making my job HARDER!!2. LAY YOUR HAND FLAT, THE POLISH MOVES (when I picked up my hand to inspect how she'd painted my nails)3. GO Wash your hands.She was really odd - it really made me uncomfortable. It was like she was pissed off to be doing my manicure....she literally made no attempt at small talk and just sang out loud to herself while she did my nails. bottom line - IF I came back (which I probably won't) I'll make sure she isn't the one that does my nails. But my money is more deserved at other places like Mango, Red Door, or VA Nails where you get friendliness with your manicure....:)!
