The workers are nice but as far as nails I would't recommend. I had someone new working on me who was not good. Nails were crooked and not all the same shape (I asked for coffin and came out with who knows what) It also took a very long time, I came in at 6:00 they started on me and got out at 8:00. I just got my hair chemically straightened as a touch up today and I am really happy with the outcome. DO NOT GO HERE EVER !!!!!!!They do not have enough workers.Its only three people, it's two women and one man.One of the women always rushes to do my nails.The man is lazy and doesn't do anything really he will do the bare minimum and just put the nails on when doing your nails and he will leave the rest to the other two workers and kick his shoes off and watches videos on his iPad or go smoke cigarettes outside while they are busy or not.The guy did my nails and actually finished them about one or two times. I went there one morning a few minutes after they opened and he was there by himself and I wanted my nails done and he acted as if he couldn't do them and said the other two wouldn't be there for another two hours so I just left . One day I broke my nail the day after I got them done and I went to get it fixed and they assumed just because I was African American I broke it from fighting when I actually broke it at work that's when I decided I wouldn't go there anymore.Two of the workers are very rude and even if you get there before someone else they will take that person that came after you even if you were waiting for a long time. If zero stars was an option I'd have picked it. They suck. They are rude I was told to leave because they were busy. I chose to stay and wait it out. I have been going here for years, when Jody and her husband were there, which I believe they were the original owners and I damned near cried when she left. She was awesome! However, if you want yours nail done right, ask for Wendy! I have made the mistake of letting the others do my nails because I was anxious but I learned quick! I ended having to go to another shop to get the nails fixed because I was so upset and unhappy. If Wendy is not there I will suck it up and go else where. Read Less

Completely rude. Asked for a take off of my acrylic nails. The lady said "no you get basic no manicure. You pay and go". I asked her to file my nails she was rude and huffed and puffed. She said it was no problem but clearly there was. Read Less

Outstanding experience. First time here and found the warm and genuine welcome quite amazing. As an older in age client I found a very respectful and caring environment and the stylist was very professional in her approach. I was delighted with my hair and would highly recommend this salon to the people of Rotorua and beyond. Never, will I ever go here again they can't do nails and never will improve. I only go there for my eyebrows and today I had a very bad experience. She was very rude this morning for no reason, I let it slide only because I go here all the time (eyebrows only because its close to home and work,I go else where for my nails). aIso i was in a rush to get to my kids award ceremony with food in the car. After sitting for a few she ask ME to come to the back I over heard the previous customer pay with a card. She walk in and say what happen, I'm thinking she wanted to apologize for her behavior seeing she stated oh, I know you. Nope, I was wrong she says where is my $8. I was very patient with her assuming I took money from her. I asked her plain as day are you accusing me of taking your money, she says"yes give me my $8 back". She began to talk loud and say I have a camera. She spoke in her native language to male worker and I heard the door lock. She then stated I'm going to call the police if you don't give me my $8. That's when I got up and said I will call them for you. I did so and right after hanging up, she then ask me to leave her shop. I said no I called the police I'm staying until they arrive. While waiting she "told" me to get off my phone several times as i was tlaking to my family about this stressful situation.The police finally arrive and they ask me to tell them what happened, I stated as above. She told her story and lied to them saying she never accused me of stealing her money. I will never go there again. Also, I remember my visit she install false lashes on a customer and 3 days later I saw her and that same customer at a local pharmacy when she paid for antibiotic eye ointment and beg the lady not to sue her. Limited color selection , unless you are into the gel polish. My nails look terrible & they are bumpy . I did not give the guy a hard time because he was really sweet and we were having a deep conversation about all the crazy shit going on in the United States , my nails look like I let my little baby cousin paint them . I would say okay customer service . They kind of look at you like you're crazy for the first 10 minutes from when you walk in the door but then I guess they start to open up . It was only 2 people working at the moment and I went on a Thursday . I seen her waxing skills and they were fine from what I seen . Other than that I would personally not go back . Read Less

This spot is pretty spacious, friendly, and a good atmosphere. The people there are wonderful, easy to talk to, and might I add funny!! Thanks Tina for a great spa day. I got a mani+ pedi combo with an eyebrow wax. If you're a talker then she's more open and comfortable with you. She treated my midget toes with care and was very careful not to hurt my cuticles. I love how she suggested I try new colors that went well with my complexion. I pinked a pink mood changing color that turns pearl under water. She has a variety of fun colors. I'll have to try more of these. Read Less

I CALLED AS SOON AS I SAW THE DOUBLE CHARGE ON MY ONLINE BANK STATEMENT. I CALLED THE NAIL SALON AND SPOKE WITH THE GUY THAT DID MY NAILS AND HE ADMITTED TO THE MISTAKE AND TOLD ME TO COME AND PICK UP THE $16 IN CASH WHEN I GOT OFF FROM WORK. WHEN I GOT THERE HE WAS NOT THERE AND HIS NASTY WIFE (SHE'S ALWAYS NASTY WHEN I GOT THERE) ESCALATED THE WHOLE SITUATION. AFTER I TOLD HER WHERE SHE COULD STICK HER DAMN $16.
