I have visited this nail salon a few times over the past couple of years and every time I leave more and more disappointed. Last time I went in, I asked for a full set of acrylic nails, nothing more (the price should have been around $30). I ended up getting charged over $50, not including tip, for the visit! She asked me if I wanted gel nails twice, and twice I told her no thanks, just the acrylic like I asked. Guess what she ended up doing? Giving me gel nails and charging me for it, even though I clearly said I didn't want them. Then, I went back a few days ago to get an acrylic fill and one nail repair. I told them this is what I needed/wanted done when I went in there. Low and behold, the lady starts fiddling with my other nails and ends up FORCING two other nails off so she could get more money (its $3 per repair). I told her that I had just gotten a brand new set and there was only one broken nail that needed a repair, and that I didn't understand why she was trying to pull off more nails, and she just laughed. My nails look fine, but she was rushing and messed up while filing down my nails a number of times. Two of my nails burned, and one of them started bleeding.The only good thing I can say is that I didn't have any cash to pay the tip (you can only pay the tips in cash), and they let me run to the FoodLion to get cash back so I could pay her. LOVE their massage chairs.One of my close friends took me here as a birthday treat/start to a partying evening.  I had gotten a lady named Pam who started me out on my pedicures.  It surprising got crowded within the next hour around the afternoon.  ANYWAYS, we didn't make any appointments and they were able to fit us in easily.  The massage chairs in the back were amazing!  I totally abused the crap out of the chair while I was getting my toesies done. Pam did a really great job on my toes (especially since I have a non-existing toe nail on my pinkie).  (It's been about 3 weeks and the colors still look freshly painted on.As for my manicure, I had someone else who did it.  She didn't really say much, but was efficient and clean when she did them.  Got a quick hand massage at the end and it was done.  Not a bad job at all.  I guess it's because I use my hands a lot, the nail polish did not stay on that long.  It's a nice spot to get your nails done, but just a little bit too far out in the West End to make it a routine.  (My friend took me there since it's the closest one to her place.)  Pretty awesome birthday gift! This salon has never let me down. They always do a great job on my nails. One of my toenails has been super sensitive recently and the technician applied nail strengthener for me at no extra charge and was so gentle I didn't feel a thing. This place has gone downhill a bit. It's not uncommon for them to double book if they have a higher sales client come in during your appt, and half the people don't seemed trained. I've started using Lady Nails Spa in the same shopping center - Much more grateful for my business! Read Less

I use to love this place so much because it was where my mother went, but my last 3 or 4 visits have been nothing but terrible customer service. The receptionist is incredibly RUDE, I have an issue with her every time my mother and I go. I walked in at 6:05 for an app I had at 6pm because I was coming from work and there was a lot of traffic. 2 seconds into picking my nail color she told me the nail tech I had an app with could not do my nails. We as customers make app's for a REASON, I can't help there was traffic when I left my work with plenty of time. If there was a time crunch she should have told me that while making the app. When I told her I made my app for a reason and I did not want anyone else doing my toes, she then proceeds to talk in vietnamese to a co-worker which I find extremely rude and disrespectful. While all this was happening 4 other nail techs were behind me just sitting on their phones. Owner was NOT there. The time before this (OCT'16) their warm water was out and decided to not tell costumers who made apps over the phone UNTIL they got there.. Since we had to get pedicures with cold warm we got 10% off.. that's it- for freezing water...and on top of that the receptionist tried to say my mother and I weren't allowed the 10% bc we had our $10 off punch card as well, not my problem their warm water was out! Another time she gave me trouble was when I was paying for some else, we both got the same thing done-both $26 and it took her literally 10 mins of arguing bc I told her she could take the $10 off on either pedicure it didn't matter bc I was paying for both. Lastly she refused to punch my card one time bc I didn't pay for my pedicure my self my mom did. She is unbelievably rude, I brushed it off at first but there has been too many issues with her, she's not even nail tech! Terrible customer service. Racist and disrespectful. The receptionist was rude and demeaning. She treated her like she couldn't afford the services she wanted. She also talked to her very slow like she didn't understand her. I'd never go there. If your looking for a nice place with decent customer service try the nail salon in the shopping center where the Kroger is across the street from short pump next to ghingas grill. Read Less

Have had several bad experiences here over the years. Each time I say I won't go back, and then several months later I decide to give them a chance. Today was the last time I will visit. After doing a horrible job on my nails, the manager was kind. However, the lady that did my nails became rude and very short with me when starting her work again. Normally I just get pedicures, but decided to get a manicure as well this time...bad idea. The first thing I will be doing when I get home is filing my nails because they are not even. Then I will be removing all of the blue nail polish from the skin around my nails and underneath. I think it is time for the lady that did my nails to get thicker glass, because she clearly cannot see. Also the massage chair didn't work. When I asked about it, she just said, "sorry." I highly recommend this business based on the outstanding service that I received on my first visit. I was warmly welcomed and immediately prepared for a pedicure.  Although all of the technicians were friendly I had the pleasure of being attended to by Ms. Jenny who patiently tended to my severely neglected feet. She was gentle, verified exactly what I wanted, checked to make sure that temperatures were comfortable, and went above and beyond my expectations in filing and shaping my nails. I also was pampered by a warm oil and hot rock massage which was wonderful! I also must say that the store was very clean, polishes well stocked of every imaginable color, and I witnessed all technicians washing and sanitizing their used equipment and hands.I will most definitely return for future pedicures and explore the many other services that they offer! Whoa! Awesome job for a southern town. Coming from the greatest city, Chicago, I've experienced great service and different qualities of products. The salon is clean, peaceful, not uptight... It's comfortable. I forgot the technician's name, but I got the French no chip manicure and it lasted for several weeks. You have got to love French no chip manicures when your nails grow fast. When I first moved here over two years ago I had the worst time trying to find a good salon. I found Luxury Nails Google Maps and gave it a go, and I've been a loyal customer ever since. Mimi is THE BEST! I can always get an appointment and she always sees me at my set time. The ladies are all friendly, professional, and take their time. I never feel rushed or pressured to buy any additional services, but they've always accommodated me when I've decided to add a pedicure while getting my nails done. The salon is small and parking can be hard to come by in the afternoons, but I love that they don't have noise televisions in the salon. All you hear is soft, relaxing music rather than the Jerry Springer you often find at other nail salons. I love them and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great salon! Read Less
