The worst nail salon! Definitely our first and last time here. The nail technician that I got took only 25mins to do my nails (shellac), while my daughter had french manicure, hers was only 15mins! They did a poor job in cleaning, cutting cuticles and just poor service. My tehnician was 9nly good at asking personal questions and pretty much the only think that I felt she forgotten to ask was probably my SSN & bank accout number! I went here with my mom and the manger was so rude. So we went to Bliss Nails and spa which was way better they gave you snacks and did your nails (the snacks were free). I will never go back to Cathy nails again. Plus they did a horrible job with my nails they were so uneven . Read Less

I've been going here for waxing a few years. They have always been fair on price and good service. Today I went and the woman that waxed my face over waxed every area I asked for. My eyebrows are now too thin and the small peach fuzz I had on the side of my face has now been waxed, meaning I will have to continue waxing it for the rest of my life since my hair always grows back double. I only came in for the problem under my chin and top lip line. She waxed my entire chin and jawline, laughed at me when I said not to go further. I am upset. Customer lost. Read Less

I'm not a regular at Cathy Nails because the last time I had my acrylic nails done there they were applied crooked. However, it is a cute salon with nice people.  (I've since found a technician that does a beautiful job, so every couple weeks I drive the extra distance to see her.) Today, my nails weren't ready for a fill-in but I did want a color change. I went to Cathy's because it's close to my house and even though not all technicians are great at acrylics I figured all professionals could  paint nails. Boy was I wrong. The man that did my nails was terrible. After removing the old polish he did a quick buff of my nails, but instead of letting me wash my hands he used a stiff, flat bristle house painting brush to get rid of the nail dust. (very ineffective) then he rushed through painting them... There are bumps from the debris left on my nails, the polish is thin in some places thick in others, jagged along my cuticles, he got polish on my skin and didn't bother painting the front edges of my nails. To top it off, it was $8 plus a tip. (not a budget breaker but my technician, who takes her time and does a great job, only charges five.) Sorry for such a long rant. I would give it 0 if I could. This was by far my WORST nail experience EVER!!! The man sanded off all of my nails, got too close to my nails, my fingers were on fire and sore afterwards. I got french gel nails and there is hardly any white, the scarce amount of white on my nails are NOT even and you can see through to where my last fill -in was done. I will NEVER go back here. If you aren't a regular they won't treat you well. I came in to get a gel manicure. During the manicure I noticed that they gel polish was wrinkling up. I pointed it out to her and she tried to fix it by putting more polish on but it didn't work. So when I asked her to redo it her demeanor and body language changed. She was clearly upset and because of such I did not have an enjoyable manicure. After she was done, she asked me to pay and then told me I was done. I said, excuse me I did not recieve and type of massage. She said a massage does not always come with a manicure. 1st time visiting Cathy nails for a pedicure. Got seated immediately then it went downhill. Asked about different pedicures and pricing. Never got a price.she cut my foot within 5 min and couldnt get bleeding to stop. The girl poured something liquid blue on my foot which still stings. Then pushed my foot down into the water to try to stop the bleeding. Finally just went and got a band aid and wanted me to pay full price .After talking to manager explaining the girl didn't finish, and 1 coat of polish because we couldn't get bleeding to stop she tells me " you take up 20 min of time you pay full price" at drug store now buying band aids and first aid creme. I second everything Mallory B said.  I didn't think much of it but it's nicely decorated and very clean.  The prices are reasonable, the staff is nice and they have massage chairs.  Who doesn't like massage chairs?  My polish has held up very well for over a week.  No signs of wear and tear yet! What an adorable nail salon! I came here not expecting much since it was in a strip mall type of location, and I was instantly wow-ed walking in-- it was a decent sized place-- 10 pedicure chairs, 10 nail stations, an entire area in the back for drying stations, and ample room. Very nicely decorated with pretty glass chandeleirs from the ceiling-- it was so chic! The men and women working there were very pleasant and I walked in for a pedicure and was instantly seated in one of the massaging pedicure chairs. The prices are reasonable as well-- they have all different types of spa pedicures starting at $25, depending on what you want. I'd say that's a pretty good deal and it looked like the rest of their prices were very decent as well. Overall, I was extremely impressed. If I lived in the area, I'd be going here all of the time!
