I had been wanting to see what all the buzz was about at Bliss Nails & Spa and I am glad that I did! My mom and I came here one early afternoon for a girls day. We both got the OPI spa pedicure $32. I LOVE the scrub scents they offer between tropical, lavender, and there was one more. I love the decor within the salon. This salon has SO many nail polish colors to choose from and they were adding even more during our visit. For guests 21 and up you're offered wines or cocktails as well as snacks for everyone. I enjoyed my mimosa while being pampered. The disposable liners are much appreciated as they increase the level of cleanliness for each guest. I could definitely see myself coming back again soon. Using a gift certificate my mom got me for Christmas, Bliss was the perfect treat for some ~relaxing and pampering~! We scheduled our double mani/pedi + eyebrow wax for 2 pm on a Saturday & I'm glad we thought ahead as this place has gotten popular! Almost every chair was full and that worried me at first, but their customer service was great and we never felt neglected nor rushed! Cindy and Lena both did amazing jobs on our nails! I love zoning out while I get a mani & they were the perfect combo of attentive yet not overbearing. We upgraded for the $12 paraffin wax treatment and both agreed it was well worth it! As a dog walker, my feet needed the extra special treatment and it truly did leave them feeling baby soft.Obviously we LOVE the complimentary drinks & snacks, as well as the decor and cleanliness of the place. Cost is also fair -- not super cheap but good for the quality -- $80 for a gel mani/pedi is much less than I've been charged elsewhere. Had a good time getting a variety of services for 8 of us before my daughter's wedding, everyone had something different done, good friendly service and clean. They do not really do "nail art" aside from simple stripes or dots, so if you are looking for that, probably best to get the art done elsewhere, but they did a great job on everyone that came in that evening. I'd heard rave reviews about Bliss from two people in the last couple of months. I held out on going for as long as I could because I am super loyal to another nail salon in RVA. The other day when the mood hit, I didn't feel like driving 20 minutes away to the other salon, so I went to Bliss which is right around the corner from my house. I had a really great experience! I happened to be starving when I walked in and was so happy to see that they had snacks! And drinks! They were super nice and let me have a water and a cran apple (preggo friendly!) slushie which paired with my mani/pedi perfectly. I sucked that thing down! They also have alcoholic drinks (I think I even saw a frozen margarita machine in the back) for your sipping pleasure. Now, you will pay for this luxury, but their prices actually aren't outrageously high. I got a mani/pedi (regular polish- not gel) for $50. I love love loved their extensive color selection and found my new everyday nail color! The interior is pretty darn swanky with the crystal light fixtures, nail bar, and comfy pedicure chairs. Speaking of pedicure, I really liked that the bowls are lined. Super sanitary! The reason why I'm giving Bliss four stars instead of five is because the child of one of the nail technicians was roaming around freely and latched on to me and my nail technician. She talked to us and hung around us the entire length of my manicure service. I love children and certainly understand that you gotta do what you gotta do, but I thought that was odd for a place that markets themselves as being a more upscale spa type of environment. I just wanted to relax and be pampered while I read my book. In the grand scheme of things, that was just minor! I love this nail salon! I just moved to the area and have tried a few different nail salons. This is a great , small shopping center with plenty of parking. I love there is a Starbucks 2 doors down. I had a walk-in gel manicure done with Cindy. The quality and finish was amazing and it lasted for about 3.5 weeks before chipping. All the tools used were freshly opened from sterile packaging for one-time use. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire salon and there are lots of options for gel, acrylic and regular polish. I was most impressed with Cindy and her attention to detail. She even offered to re-do one of my hands at the beginning because the color of the polish applied lighter than we had expected, which was nice of her. I have been to bliss a few times, always for a gel manicure. In my experience, their products are somewhat new and I believe that's what makes the manicures last a little longer than I've noticed from other salons. The prices are a little high in comparison to other places I've been but I've never had to wait and the facility is really nice. When I checked out the most recent time, they mentioned they weren't charging me to remove a dip manicure I had previously. I was a little thrown off because I got a gel manicure and the process for removing gel is pretty much the same... I didn't worry too much tho cause like I said I wasn't charged for anything more than the manicure I received. I have always been offered snacks and drinks, which is a nice touch. This is the best nail salon I've been to in RVA in a very long time. I made an appointment the day before and the day of my appointment I was greeted at the door by the owner Anthony, which did my nails exactly how I asked. The salon is beautiful let alone the ambiance is just so relaxing. I was offered a complimentary drink and snack, which was great! They even offered to charge my phone while I was being serviced! This is, by far, the best nail shop I've ever visited. I've been a customer for almost a year, and I have never been unhappy with the service or the work. I have also made sure several family members and friends have stopped by; they, too, have become steady customers. Sabrina is the sweetest, and she also makes sure all customers are well cared for. The owners and staff remember customers, even developing rapport with them (I practice my limited Vietnamese skills each time I visit, haha!). This is the absolute best nail salon I've ever been to. They are so nice and serve delicious drinks with your service. They have all the latest trends and new nail technology. Wow! I had such a great experience here! I haven't had my nails and toes done in... a LONG TIME lol. When we walked in were greeted by like.. 3 people. No joke. They had us in our chairs within minutes. Tim was the tech that did my toes and nails.  He didn't speak much but he was nice. I didn't mind that. We were given crackers and wine. I chose Merlot. My cousin and I sat back and relaxed. I was getting my wedding nails done so he kept suggesting that I got the pink and white nails. I know NOTHING about nails and what looks good so I caved in. I have been coming to Bliss now since they have opened. I always have an amazing experience when I come in. It is very clean and the staff is very professional. They also offer wine and mimosas while you get pampered! The pedicure Chairs are really nice and they use a disposable liner for each client to add another level of cleanliness. They do charge a little more than other nail shops but you seriously get what you pay for. I tried going to other nail salons but the work was not nearly as good as the work from Bliss and quickly returned back to Bliss. By far the best place I have been. Read Less

This was my very first time coming to Bliss Nails & Spa, and I had an amazing experience. I was greeted with a very relaxing environment, as well as complimentary drinks! There was no wait, so I was able to get in and out fairly quick. I am very particular with my nails, so I usually can't find a nail technician to get my shape and ombré just right but Sabrina did an amazing job. She was very quick, and even able to adjust my shape back to the original when I was being indecisive about it. This place is seriously amazing! My new go-to salon for my mani pedi! I called last minute on a Sunday to see if one of my friends and I could walk in. The staff at Bliss were more than accommodating from the start! They were so kind and welcoming, and spoke to us in detail about what we wanted. I wish I had asked the two technicians that worked on me for their names - they were both AWESOME! I had fallen the day before while running (lol) and was all banged up and cut. They both took extra time and care doing my nails and made sure I was comfortable. I got the OPI Spa pedicure, and it was well worth it. Amazing massage and great paint job! The technician was so sweet and did such a great job. The technician that did my fingernails also did a phenomenal job!! I ventured to Bliss for the first time today and had a lovely visit.  It's quiet and peaceful there, they have tons of colors to choose from and my nail tech Cindy was amazing.   The tools looked clean and they didn't appear to reuse anything.  The tubs had a disposable liner which was meh, I mean, shouldn't they still clean the tub?  My pedicure was ok but my manicure was amazing.  I usually do dip powder because it lasts longer but have never had such a good job done! I went to Bliss and it was not the wine, nor the snacks, that interested me.  It was the prompt and courteous service, the beautiful peaceful atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the INCREDIBLE job that was done on my nails!!!!! I had a great experience. Went in to get my fake nails removed. Cost $15. Friendly staff. Speedy (for the process I was getting done anyway.) TVs were on but on mute. Weird. Didn't really care but it was too quiet. No music was playing either. I came in at 6:30pm and left 15 minutes til 8. Like I said, not bad for the process I went in for. They offer you alcohol and card u. I passed. I will return for a pedi and see how that goes. Oh yeah, there's a salon on the other side of the shop. I would have got my hair dyed if I had time. Went with my sister on a whim after seeing the reviews on yelp, we called half an hour before closing time and they were more than welcoming for two pedicures. This place is fabulous. I have been going since they opened. Last week I couldn't get an appointment at Ulta for waxing and so I tried them. I'll never go back to Ulta. The wax was so gentle and the tee tree oil they used after was wonderful. Normally, I have a red rash for days after waxing with Ulta - with Bliss - no rash, no redness the next day, no irritation at all. I highly recommend! Read Less

Very friendly and courteous. Shop is immaculately clean. Each technician cleans up after themselves, and all assist if unusual mishap occurs. They all know their trade. Only complaint for me is they all speak too softly, I have a hard time either hearing or understanding them. And it would be nice if they all wire name badges. Love this new salon. Sabrina was great!! Staff was very welcoming and accomodating. Needed a pedi before my Jersey trip. Wanted to try something new. So,  I went to Trams right after work...nice touches to the experience? Parlor is beautiful, they used the liners in the pedi sinks,  (nail) colors are nicely arranged, massage chairs are serious, flat screen tvs in every area of the salon, they have a vp room, plus free wine and snacks. I got the sugar scrub pedi which was about $32. The only thing about these new salons (that offer the wine and snacks) is that you now have to pay extra for the heel treatment.  I'd rather forego the wine...give me the heel treatment included with the price of the pedi! But, this place is close to home...and almost perfect. Plus I liked the energy.  I will definitely become a regular! Read Less
