Saigon Nails is the only place that can make a gel manicure last 3 weeks for me. Most of the time, gel manicures only last 10 days. I'm a flower designer and my nails are always exposed to my water and constantly being used. The gel protects my nails from tearing off because they get so weak when they are natural. Everyone here is so nice and they become invested in you as a person, unlike other salons that just take your money and shove you out the door. I've never felt rushed here and I always leave feeling relaxed. The gel manicure is a bit more than I was used to paying from when I still lived in my hometown. But the gel manicure lasts and lasts. The quality and service makes the price well worth it. As long as I live in Fredericksburg, I will come here to get my gel manicures.Also call ahead and make your appointment! If you are looking for a great nail salon, you need to go here! This family owned salon is well organized, clean, and most importantly the service is very friendly and done well. The two sisters we met that were running the salon made everyone that walked in feel at home and relaxed. Looked at all the reviews online and thought I'd stop by to check this place out. The place prefers appointments but was very accommodating to me walking in. (They like appointments because they dedicate themselves to a person rather than going back and forth, spending that time to get to know you.) The people there are great at nails and chatty (which I like because I talk too much). Overall great experience for my first time being here. I can't say enough good things about this place. I live in New Hampshire and this is where I come to have my nails done folks. My sister lives here in Fredericksburg and brought me here as a treat one time. Now, every time I am in town to visit my parents, I make a point of having my pedicure done here. All three ladies do exceptional work. And the color last for so long without issues. Let me tell you... I was recently on Maui, I had my nails done here the third week of August and the color lasted through my trip to include hiking, swimming in the ocean and being in the hot Sun and Sand. My daughter is very picky about who does her nails and really has special needs when it comes down to it because she suffers with anxiety, social anxiety is an absolute struggle for her. Wow I finally found a great nail salon where they have great customer service and do a great job on my nails! I really enjoyed the fact that it is family owned and next-door is their restaurant called Saigon Vietnamese Restaurant. They have customers that have been coming there for a long time and I can see why. It was fun getting to order food and have it delivered while I was getting my pedicure. Family owned and operated business. These ladies were very personal and accommodating. They did both my children's toes along with pedicures for my fiancée, my father, and me. Yup, we brought the whole crew. My only complaint is that my fiancées massage chair did not work. But with everything else in life, things happen. I first went to Saigon when I was in 8th grade for a pedicure birthday party. 9 years later, this is the only nail salon I go to! I even made sure to have my bridal party get their nails done there too back in May. The girls there are so friendly and remember everyone who has stepped through their doors. Over the years I have tried other salons and never had any success with Shellac lasting more than a couple days before starting to lift on the edges. The same cannot be said for Saigon Nails...I am on day five and they look just as beautiful as they did on day one. I live in Seattle, but when I visit my hometown of Fredericksburg I have to get my nails done at Saigon.The employees are SO friendly and they do a great job. I've been here twice before being in weddings, and they took their time and made sure the mani/pedis were top notch. The last time my mom, who is diabetic, came with me, and they took extra special care of her delicate feet. It was also the first time she had ever had a pedicure, and they wanted to make the experience memorable for her. They gave her an extra long leg/foot massage and even gave her the spa clay for the price of the regular pedicure. I know she was nervous about her first pedicure, and we both really appreciated the extra mile that they went to make sure she was comfortable and satisfied. The employees all have good balance between talking to you and letting you relax. The shop is clean and they have a lot of colors to choose from. The ladies here are amazing! I found this store through other reviews and was so glad I did. I'm not from the area and I was visiting family, wanted to take my sister to get her nails done. They only take appointments but were able to take us due to an open in their book and I'm so glad they did! They were so nice and took their time with our nails. Very personable ladies! I went here about a week ago and I was soooo pleased! I got a full set and my brother (whom I had brought with me) got a pedicure. I was extremely impressed! I have been searching for a nail salon to go to on a regular basis to get my nails done and I have finally found it! (after attempting 3 other salons).The atmosphere is definitely very friendly and family like. With my nails she even took the time to explain the different types I could recieve and what she would reccomend (which was not the most expensive). Also, she gave me tips on how to make sure the nails last the full 2-3 weeks before a fill is needed. There was a bit of wait and she did suggest making an appointment for next time (which is completely understandable). My brother was pleased with his pedicure (it was his first one). And they even let him stay in the massaging chairs since I was not done yet.Not only that, but after she was done with my nails...she even walked me out to my car and helped me in to ensure my nails would not get ruined.Great atmosphere and wonderful, polite people.
