The place is just gorgeous inside with a modern minimalist vibe. I was greeted immediately and they explained how the polishes are sorted. After choosing my polish I was seated at the foot baths. The pillows on the chair were perfect. Honestly, I probably could've dozed off easily. The pedicure and no-chip was perfect! My nail tech did a great job of being detailed and quick. Very poor experience at this location, brought in my mother, aunt, and grandmother for a special treat and was left with much to be desired. Disappointed. I made an appointment for 1:30PM, was seated at a pedicure chair 25minutes later, had cold water pouring into my foot basin, waited another 20 minutes for my pedicure to even start. The owners child was running around the shop, putting trash into mine and other patrons foot basin, walking into the wax room while waxes were being performed, turning on and off water in people’s basins and NOONE stopped him. Absolutely unprofessional! I’m typing this review as I’ve sat waiting for 15 minutes for a technician to come back to finish the pedicure that was started 40 minutes after my appointment time. It is now 2:37PM..my pedicure is still not complete, I’ve been prompted to provide feedback on my visit and I am disgusted with this location. Love this place.... service is incredible. Even when they are busy and you have to wait they still acknowledge you are there and keep you informed. Went for my birthday....asked for coffin shape. Not too long as I work in a mail company and not thick. Nail or tip. Below is what I got....also when I arrived at 6:20 i asked if he had time as they close at 7pm. I sat til 7:35 before i sat in his chair! (The owner) He talked to customer beside me the whole time. The lady had wine/champagne whatever. Never offered me a beverage. Unprofessional. They didn’t let the gel paint dry long enough and the polish started to peel a day or so after. I came in there the following weekend since i work the same hours they’re open during the week this is my only time. They did my nails over ( which i still paid for because i waited too long ) and i left. TWO days after leaving my nail completely breaks off. I call to tell them since they had just redid them. Kenny tells me to come in thst weekend. I proceeded to co...me back there and Kenny tells me it’s an hour wait for ONE nail to get fixed. I couldn’t wait so i left. I just called today to see if there was someone available for me to fix my nail before i even came in there and Kenny tells me that it’s another hour or so wait. I wanted to like this place. It's conveniently located and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, got me seated right away as a walk-in. I wanted to treat myself to a manicure cause I deserve it, gosh darn it.My manicure did, indeed, turn out pretty. Sadly I'm typing this with one thumb because I'm soaking my right middle finger in a water/hydrogen peroxide mixture. I ended up with a CUTICLE INFECTION! Not cool. But hey, if you're a risk taker and have the time to soak your finger for 15 mins 2-4 times a day for a week afterwards, more power to you. You adrenaline junkie, you. Well for starters I called and asked if they were available to do my nails a full set they told me yes and to come in three hours later They were taking care of clients that came in after me & have gotten taken care of first and left way before I even got my nails started . I was asked what kind of design I want it I showed them they told me it was OK they sent me to rude , ruff nail tech that had my nails different shapes different sizes he was very rude he was he broke my f...inger nail and insisted it was already coming off replaced it with a tip and claim he was doing me a a favor .. when in reality he was trying to fix what he had messed up. .they never gave me what I asked for.. basically left my nails the way they were and asked me to pay for them even though they weren't right they were different sizes and shapes the next day I go back to get what I asked him for the beginning and their RUDE MANAGER STARTS telling me me his unwanted opinion , would not stop telling me how my nails would look if I got them how I was asking for them to be done . WHILE KENNY was supposed to be fixing them and actually doing what I asked in the first place he goes and picks out a whole different design or polish (chrome) which is something I never asked for .. Got my eyebrows done for the first time ever here, and I love the way they look. My nails look great, but I feel like I was overcharged somehow, while I was looking at the price list and everything I had done I don't think it added up to what I was charged, I got a gel full set($32), a soak off($5) and eyebrows($10) which I thought would come out to $47 but before the student discount I got my total was $63!!!! I didn't get any designs I just got one color matted, so that was confusing... But other than that I love it here... Came in for full set and pedicure yesterday.... The pedicure was great but I'm really disappointed in the full set I ask for coffin nails and one of my nails is crooket.. I've been coming here for a little over 3 years now since Kenny took over the shop. I moved further north and had to stop going but I've since relocated closer and am so glad my nails are back in good hands. Their spa pedicures are the best, they give amazing massages. I have yet to recurve a bad pedicure.  They usually offer you fruit and bottled water while you wait. Only nail salon I go too, both Kenny and his brother are great at acrylics. Read Less

Don't believe the owner if you call and he says he has room for you and to come in 5 minutes.  One pedicure for me (which was wonderful),  one ignored daughter, 3 "in 5 minutes" when she politely asks if she is next, 4 glasses of wine and manicures to other customers arriving after daughter and over 2 hours later with still no manicure done to her equals very poor customer service.  Go somewhere else in FXBG..plenty of places to choose from. I have been coming here for months and used to love them but lately they have rude and sloppy. I went in today at 2pm for acrylic full set and a pedicure. The pedicure started out great but my technician was rubbing the purple pumice stone/sponge so hard on my feet she cut the side of my foot. When I said "ouch" she laughed and said "yeah it tickles" and kept going so I had to tell her again it hurt. Then I was left to wait for my nails to dry at the drying station for an hour. When I finally got some assistance, they asked me to pay but I explained I had wanted my nails done too. They sat me down and once someone came I explained I wanted gel on acrylic and that's when the rudeness really started. They were huffing and puffing and I was told multiple times that I only said manicure but I know I said full set. So I was switched to someone else's station. Then I asked about the new SNS powder and showed a picture from their FB and asked if I could get them a little lighter in color. Again, huffing and puffing. At this point I asked about priced difference and the owner belittled me by saying "duh it's more expensive, it's two colors". I eventually decided to go with my original gel color but we had another issue- nail shape. I said I wanted a softer coffin style and showed him multiple pictures. He proceeded to ask me if I even knew what a coffin shaped was. By now it was close to 5pm so I said just do a square shape please. He was going back and forth between another client and I and asked her if she wanted some wine. When he came back I asked for a glass and was getting my ID out. I decided to get a glass because by now I was unhappy and stressed. When he saw my ID he said that’s an 18 year old ID (he didn’t even read it). I told him my birthday and explained that I just don’t have a horizontal ID. He said fine and went to the back but they were out so I didn’t even get a glass. He then shaped up my nails and brought another woman over who did not speak to me at all. I asked her if I could get them a little shorter. She spoke to him, he came over and asked what I needed. I said I was wondering if I could get them a little shorter. He said "are you serious? Now?" I said I was just wondering, you don't have to but he came over and clipped them anyway. He did a rushed sloppy job. The woman then proceeded to paint my nails while he worked on someone else who complaining about waiting a long time (probably because he was split between the two of us). After she was done, she realized there was a lot of hard powder under my nails and tried to pick it with her nails. This hurt pretty bad so I said I think he needs to go under there with the drill. She kept picking. Finally, the man next to me doing another lady's nails used the drill on me and then she picked them again and then she said "done". No cleaning around my nails, no lotion, no massage. So I waited at the counter to pay and was cleaning around my nails, disappointed in how thick they were. The owner comes up to me and clips some skin and then goes back to another client. When he finally comes back he tells me the price and I explain to him that I normally get the student discount but I was very disappointed with the experience and want a better discount. I said I come here often and always tip well but today I was forgotten about and then did not receive anyone's full attention. I come here to relax but I was not relaxed at all and wanted to cry and go home multiple times and that he was very rude to me. He did not apologize but gave me $10 off. JUST BAD. After having them soak my nails in alcohol for OVER an hour I was already annoyed, then they filed my nails down so much the were sensitive to the touch! The overall product was decent but the service was ridiculous. Unless you have absolutely nothing to do all day don't bother going in because a simple gel manicure that should take over 45 minutes took 3 HOURS. They offered me lemonade but I didn't even get to drink it because the person next to me was getting her nails filed, chunks of old acrylic was flying into my drink. And then they proceeded to offer a spiked version of the lemonade to the next lady that sat beside me and was simply asked if she was over 21 without any card or anything. I find this business absolutely unprofessional, you are handed off to 3 or 4 different people during your visit to just get a simple job done. Will not be going back ever again. Today my friend and I were in between a rock and a hard place to find a nail salon not completely booked for the day (we had already gone to two salons downtown) so we decided to call this place. They got us in right away, which was great. I normally have a guy do my nails so I was pleased when I got Steven to do my nails. He was super nice and made conversation with me without it seeming like he was having dental surgery (that's something I like in a nail manicurist). When you get seated the give you a nice glass of lemonade. Note though, it is a bit sugary. Too much for my taste, but a nice gesture still. He was also very understanding of me having to check my phone multiple times because I had something going on that needed my attention. All in all, I was very pleased with my experience. It wasn't crazy expensive either - I believe my gel manicure was $30-ish. My friend's pedicure did take a little long to get done, but she was pleased with the results. Also a note, they offer a VIP program for their regulars to earn back money they spend to put toward free manicure, pedicure or other services. I really like this place. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because my fifth stars goes to how long my manicure lasts. She has a great personality and makes an effort to have conversation with her clients. The place is nice and clean as well! I was passed around from one person to the next three times as they rushed to get me in and out.  In the end,  I ended up with bleeding,  painful cuticles that hurt for two days and ten completely messed up nails because they hurried me out before my nails were dry. I had to wait several days for my cuticles to heal before I could get my nails redone somewhere else.  On top of that,  it's a very noisy and tacky salon.   I've been getting my nails done for 20 years, and,  without a doubt this was the worst experience I've ever had.   Obviously,  I won't go back.  I just hope that people read this review before they have their fingers cut up by these people. Giving one star was generous. Worst nail salon I have ever been to, hands down. The owner/manicurist paid more attention to the football game on TV than to my nails which she was attacking with the cuticle tool. She couldn't manage an even french manicure- each one was uneven or had polish hanging down the middle. I would point it out and she got increasingly frustrated- VERY unprofessional. She finally got almost halfway through the first hand and then started taking it all off!! She said she couldn't do it and would only charge me for a manicure rather than the shellac I was supposed to be getting, and then I didn't even get the manicure! She tried to charge me for taking off my polish, which I would have rather left alone than had her scrape at my nails and waste my time. I would never go back again, would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. FYI, I didn't pay a dime. Read Less
